- the cables are not a life and run away from the dash , that never happends, and if the cable is there its not broken the power comes from the ignition switch not the battery , so you have a bad fuse or bad ignition switch most likely it is only a fuse, did you know there are 2 boxes ? check both

- Probably not easy but if ya find the hole in the firewall underneath ya dash somewhere than just poke it through there and run it underneath ya carpet. After that u'll just be able to find ya way into the boot with no problem. I like running the power cable down the centre of the car but that can sometimes be more of a hassle than its worth, so along the side of ur seat is cool.

- Check first for any factory made holes that are not in use or have extra space to be used. If you are explorer is anything like my Taurus I would say somewhere near where your steering wheel connects to the firewall. But it will be kinda risky around that area since you would have to be careful for your power steering.

- It could be 1 or multple issues. You can also be one of the few of the DOA (Dead On Arrival) products. My best suggestion, is to take out the graphics card first, then try to boot it up. IF no go, then try taking out 1 stick of ram, then the next. Also, ensure you have your heatsink/fan sitting on that processor with some Thermalpaste making contact. You may have your heatsink and fan is not properly seating right on the processor. last but not least, could be the PSU is just dead. Make sure you have it set to 115v as well. If you have tried all of these and still nothing, then you either have a Dead Motherboard or Dead Processor.
