Q: i just want to select the power cable but i m having some confusion that when we select single core power cable we take current rating of that conductor but if we say 3-core cable has 200A capacity then it means that each core has this capacity or it is the the capacity of overall 3-cores: Current ratings for conductors are based on several factors including conductor type (Copper, Aluminum, other), insulation material (thermoplastic, rubber, asbestos composition), ambient temperature, length, exposure to weather, and numerous other factors stipulated by the NEC or local Code. The ratings are usually given for a single conductor in free air. Mulitiple current carrying conductors which share a conduit, raceway, or any other enclosure must be derated appropriately. Q: My mother has moved to Australia, taking her Fujitsu Siemens (Amilo model) laptop with her. Very shortly after, her power cable stopped functioning, and she would like a new one. Q: What is the best tool or method in your opinion to locate cable damage causing current leak on several cables supplying outdoor lighting as detected by a tripping GFCI breaker. When I ran my cables I ran Power on one side and speaker and RCA down the other side in my car. It even says to do it this way in my amp instruction manual;Plan the wire routing. Keep RCA cables close together but isolated from the amplifier's power cables and any high power auto accessories, especially electric motors.This is done to prevent coupling the noise from radiated electrical fields into the audio signal.

Available?Thanks!: Good question, however I don't think there is a way at this time. I am a Computer Engineer and coming from an electrical point of view it would be very difficult for the USB cable to send enough power to the battery to be able to charge it significantly. You have to understand that the laptop battery is very large and has to be significantly more powerful than a battery like say the iPod that can be charged via USB. Power consumption and load means the world to batteries. A load like a laptop would use on a USB cable would fry the cable in my opinion. Take care, Chad

Q: today i purchased a used audiobahn atb10at 10quot;subwoofer with a built in power and for my car but there was no cables for it, the power is a six prong plug and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what the specific name of this cable is or where i can buy it and maybe how to install it, i tried looking into it and didnt get anywhere thanks: That's actually a six prong molex connector commonly used in computers. You might be able to get the male end from a computer shop or maybe a place like Fry's or CompUSA. I found a website that has them too and included the link below. For how to wire it up, it's actually printed on the box right next to the connector. The top three wires are as follows: Top left = 12v+ Top middle = remote Top right = ground The bottom three aren't even used in this setup. Also, the factory specs say, you need to use 12 gauge wire for the power and ground and 18 gauge remote wire. Enjoy!

Q: I bought a 1999 Volkswagon jetta and there is no sound coming from the speakers. There are speaker cables, power cables, and input cables in the trunk. The powers cables ( there is 2 of them) are both connected to the negative terminal of the battery. There is also 2 input cables. Do I need an amp in order for my speakers to work? Q: I lost the power cord and I can't seem to find a replacement online. Is there anything I can do to savage this since I do not want to buy a new printer.
