Q: The inside of my computer has a modular power supply that did not come with enough cables, and I have a graphics card that requires two 6 pin connections to the power supply. Luckily, my power supply has just enough open slots. The problem is that I can't find a place to buy a simple 6 pin cable. It needs to be about a foot long to reach. Can someone please help me? I would prefer newegg if possible, but I searched there and I'm getting pretty frustrated.: You'd need to buy it from your PSU's manufacturer as those tend to be proprietary. It's strange it didn't come with all the cables though.

Q: It is a Gateway Desktop AMD Athlon 64X2 4200, 2048 DDR2, running Win XP Media center edition with Update Rollup 2. It first started when I put it in quot;stand-bymode and the computer refused to wake up. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate.: this sounds like an electrical problem. not a software problem. you may need to test and/or replace your power supply. or check the outlet that you're plugging it into. it may have gone bad and the computer is just reacting to it. try using another outlet that's maybe not on the same circuit. like in another room. if it still does the same thing then it's probably your power supply that has become damaged.
