- When you have any sort of phone, from any provider/carrier, you need to contact the company and let them know what kind of phone you are using. This then goes onto record, even though you didn't purchase the phone from the company (you got it from your uncle). There is usually a set fee (for rogers it's 20-25$) and the phone will be unlocked. Contact the service provider and they will help you unlock your phone.

- I have the t-mobile samsung gravity - I love it. easy to use, good price, nice sound, good features, great for texting. I dont browse the WWW on my phone so I'm not usre about that but the camera is good.Very durable, i drop it all the time and it's still in great shape. My husband has a nokia flip phone (i dont remember the name of the phone) but he hates it. i've had 2 samsungs from t-mobile and i've really liked both. best of luck with you phone search.

- I think you can borrow the mobile phones at the airport. as for the prepaid card, it's a bit hard to find. I used to travel ard 4-5 mobile shops to get just a prepaid card too!
- Q:I have just received an upgrade from T-Mobile. Whilst I like the phone I want to unlock it so I can put a cheaper SIM in for my trips to Jersey. Only one network on Jersey (UK).The phone is a Samsung U800 which seems to prove hard to unlock??An internet service could not help and Tmobile says it takes 28 days.Does anyone know of a high street shop that could unlock and not charge that much?Cheers
- Dont go to the High streets, you are better off going to the small independant shops. they have the software to get it sorted for you and the longest they will take is 24 hours at a cost of 5 - 10 quid
