- Q: Why gas stations can not call the phone?
- People in order to make the communication signal more clearly, the use of mobile phones is very high frequency, transmission power is relatively strong, despite the national standards, but also on the fuel, filling stations constitute a serious threat.
- Q: Alcatel OT-800 mobile phone - good phone? any disadvantages??thanks x
- thanks
- Q: e-mail sent to my mobile phone.
- i could say to apply common experience first and optimal. do you comprehend the sender? If no longer then i could be very suspicious as to being mentioned as solid chum (individually i could be careful of this interior the 1st place, as that's casual yet impersonal). whether, i don't comprehend the area, so i can't make specific. All i could say could be that because of the fact we are thinking a extensive quantity of money and there's a means for inner maximum suggestions to be leaked, thoroughly look into the difficulty formerly. digital mail this secretary first and ask approximately info formerly giving your address etc.
- Q: I was just wondering, If i bought a G1 (ATT Subscriber) without contract and just unlock it through the web service for $24 will I be able to use it? Or do I first need a T Mobile sim to activate the phone?I am confused by the last question there, so please help.
- You need a T-Mobile account and data plan just to set the phone up initially. I have one, so I've done it. When you first fire up the phone, it expects to find a T-Mobile sim with an active data plan, and you have to set up Google access with either an existing account or a new account set up on the phone. Once you do that, I understand you can unlock the phone and use it with other GSM systems (like ATT), but there are a couple of caveats: 1. You won't be able to use the T-Mobile data network, even with a ATT data plan. 2. You can allegedly tweak the phone to use the ATT data network, but you still have to have a data plan to do so. 3. You won't have any 3G access on ATT or T-Mobile's network. It will work with the edge network, but since the phoen si a 3G phone, you lost the advantage of that higher speed network. To me, doing it this way is no advantage. Even though ATT has better 3G coverage (currently), T-Mobile is rapidly rolling theirs out, and it is available in many major cities. I have it where I work in DC, but not where I live yet in Jacksonville, Florida, but the edge network works there really well. I know you have an ATT plan, but if your contract is up or close to it, I'd switch. I'm very happy with T-Mobile (been with them many years) and the G1 is an excellent phone.
- Q: i want to know what modle of t-mobile phone it is that is both wifi and cell signal enabled thanks
- I think u have to get a smart phone, and then there something u can add onto your plan that lets u do that. You should either call up costumer service ans ask them or go to a t-mobile store.
- Q: I have the LG virgin mobile phone (not the new one) and I turned it off to charge and then turned it back on but it only went to the Hello part and started loading up and then it just goes black and back to the Hello and just keeps repeating it! any ideas why??? I sent virgin mobile an email but they havnt replied yet!
- I had the same problem with my samsung intercept. Sometimes it was on the start up screen for an hour or two, and sometimes it was on the start up screen for a whole day. Honestly there are no tricks to solving this problem, just luck. You can take out the battery and try rebooting it again. You can wait till it just finishes going through its process, and make sure its charging so it wont die. Or you can send it back to virgin mobile for a new one. After it was charging for a day or two, I send my phone back to virgin for a new one.
- Q: Does anyone knows that mobile phone number or at least knows a way to find who owns it???
- mobile phone numbers are highly govt protected so there probably isn't a search to find out the owner of the cell like there is a way to find the owner of a land line. plus, there are so many people who have cell phones but they are in other people's name, ie: their parents, siblings, etc. the best way: call and ask
- Q: can anyone help me unlock my sony ericsson j100i mobile phone?
- you can go to any cellphones stores and ask because i know some stores don't do that and it cost around $20 to 50$ depend on the store price or ur phone.
- Q: I am 13 years old. I have not yet made up my mind what to get this Christmas - a mobile phone or psp.
- ofcourse a psp and mobile phon come to hongkong moile:$98 for one in camera and psp:$75 only cool yeah.
- Q: I want my documentaries to be playable on the technologies inside home. The television, the videos and others but they can not play the clips directly from my phone .On the converting software what file format do i say that i want my video clips to look like?
- Hi Amuoro, and welcome to Y!A Camcorders: You've been asking about this same thing 5 times over the past month in various other Categories, but never have you said WHICH mobile phone model # you have. Different phones shoot video in different file formats (.3GP, .3GP2, .MP4, etc.). And you need to tell us what kind of computer you have. Editing transcoding (converting) video on a Mac is different than on a Windows PC. One important point, in your Question headline you say you want your phone videos to equal those of bigger camcorders. Most phones do not have the video quality to equal the quality of a bigger camcorder, but you can at least convert them to play normally on a television or YouTube / Netflix style media player. If you want to show or distribute your videos using DVD, then the final video format will be MPEG-2 (or you can use MPEG-4 encoding for Blu-ray HD). But this encoding step is usually handled by the DVD authoring software (Roxio, Nero, iDVD, etc.). For just online distribution viewing (YouTube, etc.), you have a wider choice of video formats for uploading. Since you are relatively new to Yahoo!Answers, you might not know that you can Update your Question using the Additional Details link on the Action Bar below your Question text. Just mouse-over the blue pencil icon Edit menu, and add the details about your phone and computer. This discussion will remain open for at least 4 days, for us to reply. hope this helps, --Dennis C.
