- Q: I am always browsing phones and getting tempted by every new gadget I work hard all day long in my job but i keep spending all my money on these high end smartphone I which I don't even use any advise on how to stop spending a lot of money on mobile phones thanks.
- when you're buying a mobile phone don't get a flip phone. I had 3 flip phones in the past and flip phones don't last that long. and they tend to be easier to break too. When you get a cellphone think about what you will be using the cellphone more for? are you going to be using the cellphone more for texting, talking, emergencies only? If you are a texter and you talk a lot then I suggest you should get a slider phone with a keyboard because its easier to text with a full keyboard on your phone. if you plan on using your cell phone for emergencies then I suggest you can get a non flip phone say for instance a net 10 or a tracfone non flip/non slider phone. which one are you going more towards, prepaid or contract? If you have enough money to spend on a contract plan then I suggest you go with att. I have att contract and they are the best cellphone service. I don't get any dropped calls or dropped text messages and I get 5 air bar waves and I never had a problem with their service. If you don't like to spend a lot of money and you want to go with prepaid then I suggest you go with net 10. I use to have net 10 before I had att contract and from my experience net 10 never gave me any problems, it was easy to use and you would get 200 minutes for 20 dollars and you didn't get dropped calls or dropped text messages from them either and there were always bar waves on the phone so it was a good connection. the only thing I don't like about net 10 is you have to top up 20 dollars once a month because with 20 dollars they will give you 200 minutes but only 30 service days. make sure you shop around very carefully before you get a cellphone and check out the plans too. good luck :-)

- Q: What is the meaning of mobile BUG?
- Some shortcomings and problems in the mobile phone system.
- Q: Dear FriendIs this possible to setup Skype software in mobile phone what we usually do in PC under windows. Can it possible to talk through skype from mobile then? If yes, please help me by providing necessary guideline.RegardsPervez
- For most cell (mobile) phones the answer is no. In the UK the cell phone company 3 offers a skype mobile phone that provides free skype to skype calls, along with the regular cell phone features at regular rates. In the USA you can load a skype application on the iPhone, iTouch, Nokia N800/N810 and others. Skype calls on these units do NOT go over the cell phone network, but rather use a local (free) wifi hotspot. I use the Belkin Wi-Fi Phone for Skype ( F1PP000GN-SK ) from amazon ($129.35), it works fine if you have a local free wifi hotspot (or Boingo). Out of these areas it is dead.
- Q: I need to purchase a new mobile phone when I get to Malaysia. Am I able to purchase a prepaid sim card that will able to phone Australia. What advice could you give me.
- Mobile phone shop are almost everywhere nowadays in Malaysia, and pretty cheap too. As for the sim cards, I personally recommend Digi. I got friends in Australia, i've tried all 3 network (Celcom and Maxis) and Digi is the cheapest.
- Q: Hey guys. Dad is buying me a new mobile phone, and it must be a Nokia, that is 3G (more specifically capable on running on 3 Mobile Australia) and not overly expensive (OKorder pricing, probably a lot more in retailers). No real preferences at the moment, but I have seen Nokia 6120 / 6121 Classic, Nokia 6500 Slide.Thank you for your help!
- Nokia 500 is stable, a million GHZ, Anna / belle os,3.2 diplay and so on . yet, my suggestion, particularly identifying to purchase a symbian, purchase a android cellular . Android is speedy, supportive, lot's of application for day at present life is provided in android marketplace . try one .
- Q: Can anybody tell me if any of these T-Mobile phones can go on the internet for free through a wi fi connection using a wireless router?Nokia 5310Nokia 5610Nokia 6301Blackberry Pearl 8100Blackberry Pearl 8120Motorola ROKR E8If anyone has tried any of these phones, do any of them have slow internet if they even have it, or do you get a pretty fast, decent connection, or does it just depend on how fast your internet and router is? I've checked the T-Mobile website and tons of other sites and still can't figure it out. If a phone has Hotspot @ home service, then does that guarantee that it can also go on the internet through a wi fi connection using a wireless router for free?
- Are these all T-mobile branded phones? If so, going to the Tmobile website should yield you results for each phone. It will specifically say WiFi capable if the phone has such capabilities. Off the top of my head, the Blackberry Pearl 8120 is the only one I know that has WiFi enabled. The 8100 regular does not. Again, you would have to look at each phone specifically and see if it's capable. If these are phones 1year old or more, then chances are they are not. If they're not Tmobile specific phones, you would have to go to the provider's website and look it up. Even if they're not Tmobile phones, you can use WiFi. I have the Blackberry Curve and the internet isn't as FAST as the iPhone but it's still pretty fast. I don't have much waiting times, especially using WiFi. If you subscribe to the Hotspot thingy, you can use the WiFi pretty much in any Tmobile hotspot and the best part is if you make phone calls in those wifi areas, it's FREE. Yup. Doesn't count off your regular minutes plan. And yes it's a guarantee that you'll get wifi if you're subscribed, unless your router dies or something.
- Q: I want to know if you get a virgin mobile phone in America can it get transfered to the Canadian network. So if i were to buy a wildcard could I use it in Canada but be under the Canadian network??
- No. Sorry , but there are Virgin Mobiles all around the world. They all use different phone technologies. France, UK, South Africa and Australia Virgin Mobiles all use sim card phones called gsm. Gsm networks can use any sim card in any phone if it is unlocked first. India, USA and Canada use a non sim card phone technology called cdma. Each network can only use its own phones. VM Canada is owned by Bell. VM USA is owned by Sprint (as of yesterday's buyout announcement). Neither company will let phones from one side go to the other. So no VM Canada phones can run on VM USA either. If you want true phone choice and freedom , stick with gsm phones which come with sim cards. Anther bonus over cdma is that they can be used in any country in the world, cdma cannot.
- Q: I have just received an upgrade from T-Mobile. Whilst I like the phone I want to unlock it so I can put a cheaper SIM in for my trips to Jersey. Only one network on Jersey (UK).The phone is a Samsung U800 which seems to prove hard to unlock??An internet service could not help and Tmobile says it takes 28 days.Does anyone know of a high street shop that could unlock and not charge that much?Cheers
