Q: What is the working principle of a vacuum cleaner?
Inside the machine, there is an electric fan, which operates at high speed and makes the vacuum inside the vacuum cleaner
Q: so the universe will explode inward someday, could we prevent this by taking giant vacuums, switch them to reverse, and expand the universe?
Are you talking about vacuum *cleaners*? Calling one a vacuum is just a diminutive colloquialism. You did know that didn't you? You are correct, though, in that the vacuum is something that can be expanded as opposed to the nothing that those who take it for granted assume it to be. It has properties like length, width, breadth, and time, which all inflated during by the Big Bang, and are expanding still. Nothing, by contrast, has no properties.
Q: Iam supposed to do costing for a modification that we are doing for a hand held vacuum cleaner, the modification is an retractable arm.I want to know how are hand held vacuum cleaners manufactured, (forging, extrusion, injection molding??) What would be the cost??Any help thanks
Look at the hand held vacuums they have in the store. If the housing is plastic, it is a 99.99% chance it is injection molded. If it is made of metal it could be extruded if it has a constant cross section along its length. Aluminum is a very common extrusion metal. I would doubt any high volume hand vac would have a forged housing, but I don't get out that much. Casting and machining is a possibility. As far as costs, it all depends on the life of the tool, and the number of cavities for a mold or a casting. If you mold/cast one part at a time it is much more expensive than two or four or eight. The more you mold at once, the bigger the molding/casting machine and the more expensive the mold/casting. So it depends on how many you want to make in a given amount of time, and how many through the life of the product. Finally, for your modification, do you have a design with drawings and a volume target? That is the first step to figuring out costs.
Q: Had a Bissell which was about $50, well it didn't last , and saw reviews on Eurekas, which were pretty good. Which do you use and where did you purchase your's for a good price? Not looking for expensive models, just something under $60.
Go to the thrift stores and garage sales. Then inspect them well before you buy. That is the only way to get a good one for that price. Dyson is about the best for under $500.
Q: for the purchase of a new vacuum cleaner. But when I find one that gets good reviews, a little more searching uncovers absolutely horrible reviews for every machine I've looked at! Except of course the ones that cost over $400.So...has anyone bought a vacuum cleaner that doesn't have a ridiculous price-tag, that has actually continued to work well after you've had it for a year or more???
Hello, I don't have much time but here's some advice. (I'm a vac tech at a vacuum shop) Stay away from all bagless machines (yes that includes the dyson). They don't filter well, they won't last as long as a bagged machine, and they don't have as much air flow as a bagged machine Riccar makes a good vacuum for under 400.00, and it will last you 10+ years. Riccar also makes some cheaper vacuums under the name Carpet Pro. They are good as well. Stay away from the cheap box store brands like dirt devil, eureka, bissell etc also New electrolux and hoovers are bad. Kirby's are overpriced and are a pain, and orecks don't work well (try the riccar supra lite if you like the oreck) Riccar is the vest value. Panasonic, Simplicity and Sanyo are good machines. (Sebo also but they are 400+) If you can, go to a vacuum store. They will have much better vacuum then a cheapy from walmart. Any vacuum can clean, but not all vacuums will retain the dirt, filter, clean well, last a long time, are easy to use, have a good warranty....Riccar fills all those criteria. Good luck
Q: gift horse in the mouth?Especially with the new Horsepower vacuum! : P
the acceptable answer to this question is... purchase what professional abode cleaners janitorial cleaners use. it relatively is Sanitare. they arrive in many diverse fees that extra wholesome your funds.$one hundred fifteen-3 hundred. merely stroll right into a advertisement vacuum shop ask for it purchase call. they are going to attempt to sell you the high priced ones, in case you bypass in looking perplexed. each and every of the cleaners stroll out with this one inclusive of me. Its a floor vacuum as adversarial to a hose, which gets clogged up rapid. This vacuum is made to final it cleans with large power. The shops won't verify your identity to make specific you very own a cleansing business business enterprise, merely act such as you do.
Q: the one I have now is very noisy. thanks for any info on this
Try the Sensor 12, or Sensor 15, German made HEPA vacuum cleaners that trap 99.97 per cent of all the dust/dirt it vacuums up. I bought mine at a janitorial supply store. One is 10 years old and works like new, the other is 1 year old and is left on a job site where it is used 2 hours every day. Wonderful machines. Hospitals, hotels, motels, use this vacuum extensively.
