Q: I am planning to start working for Rainbow vacuum. Any warning that I should know about? Any helpful hints? Anything?
The vacuum cleaners are hard enough to sell in a normal economy. In a lousy economy like what we have now, the job is vene more difficult. Folks don't buy a $1300 vacuum just because. They have to be fully convinced it is worth the money. It is very heavy, especially with the water in it, and you should not try to dismiss objections about carrying it up down stairs - that is really not recommended, and not to be advised because of the risk of injury. They either empty the unit of water, and refill on the second floor, or they buy a second system for the second floor - and you can double your sales! If you every find such a customer, give them a good discount on the second system, OK? Good Luck; but in case things are slow, I suggest you have another part time job ready.
Q: Ok so our Dyson hoover has finally given up. We want a new hoover that isn't as heavy as a Dyson. We tried the smaller Dyson's today but they aren't powerful enough because we have 2 pets you see. So we tested the HOOVER DM6228 and that seemed ok. Any reviews or any recommendations of vacuum cleaners? I live in Britain by the way.
Hi there, Sorry to hear about your Dyson. If you get in touch with us free , I'm sure we can help. However, if you're considering purchasing a new cleaner, you might like to take a look at our website to learn more about our current range.
Q: Why do diesel locomotives sound like loud vacuum cleaners when they are running power. Does it have to do with gas combustion?

Q: Hi there - I've been given an OLD Elextrolux vacuum cleaner (a canister one) that seems to have lost some suction...and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get it fixed? I do realize this is more of an opinion question...My main concern is not spending as much $$ to get this vacuum fixed as it would to buy a new vacuum! Thanks.
i'm surprised that it doesn't work. parts may be a problem
Q: Why are vacuum cleaners so noisy?
It takes a powerful motor to create the suction needed to make a vacuum cleaner effective. There are quiet models, but they don't work as well. The best way to use a quiet vac is to go with a central, and have the canister mounted in the basement or garage. All you hear is the motor in the power head if you are vacuuming carpet, or the air moving if you are vacuum hard surfaces. Hope this helps.
Q: Ok i bought a decent hoover just before christmas and it has blown up the thing is last year i had 3 new vacumn hoovers whats wrong with me? What do i do wrong? I have to hoover 3 times a day due to have 3small children under 6 but its never bashed around i really am fed up. Anybody have any suggestions?
the only thing that would cause them to blow-that easily would be completely blocked vents, that prevent the machine from running too hot and frying itself...so I suggest cleaning your filters and emptying the bag more. Also another thing that commonly breaks vaccuums is running over the cord with the machine
Q: What is the development status of vacuum cleaners?
Nowadays, the vacuum cleaner not only functions more and more, the appearance is becoming more and more beautiful, and its price is more and more cheap. It is loved by many people.
Q: I want a lightweight, easy to use, vacuum with good suction. Any suggestions? I don't want to spend more than 300.00. Also, does anyone know what is the suction power I am looking for for hosehold use.
You need the AMPS to determine the suction power the more AMPS they have the better suction power you'll get- but here is a very, very good vacuum to look into- It is a Bissel Powerforce Bagless Vacuum-my son bought his at Wal-mart and I use his all the time! It has 4 re-usable filters that you can rinse out and an attachment brush that has rotaion on it that I use on my bed and once after I had washed my bed spread it had those little lint pills all over it that I tried to shave off- well I tried this attachment and it took them off like it was nothing! I think he only paid like maybe $100 or less for his and it is now MY favorite vacuum!
Q: Skimmers are machines like vacuum cleaners that pull up the oil from the surface of the water. The water must be calm in order for skimmers to be effective.
Your own original version is better than any of the commenters' suggestions. Nothing wrong with the original at all.
Q: I have a 2 vacuum cleaners, and I HATE them both! One works okay, but the suction on the hand tool sucks (that one is a dirt devil) and the bissell bagless I have, spills dust/dirt everywhere...I have even taken the whole thing apart and it still is dirty and leaves a mess.I have a baby and a german shepard!Which vacuum works the best for you? the pick-up?
All bagless machines are no good. They will have good suction power, but very low airflow. You need both airflow and suction power for good cleaning. Bagless systems have to draw air through a very long series of tubes and filters, and this lowers the airflow but it increases the sealed suction. My advice would be to at least get a bagged machine. You've probably heard of dyson (they have GREAT advertising) which is a bagless, but they are not a good machine!! Try and stay away from those brands, it will be much better in the long run. If you have a baby you are probably interested in good filtration. Now, bagless machines and any vacuum from a box store will have poor filtration when comparing them to a high end vacuum cleaner. Miele's for example will bring the air parts per million to ZERO. Most bagless machines will actually raise the airborn particles beacuse even tho they are retaining alot of dirt, they are putting out some dirt in the air and so the particles in the air increases. Riccar, Sebo, Miele, Simplicity and Lindhaus are the BEST vacuums you can get. There are a couple other brands as well, but these are the main ones. Honestly a bissell or a dyson or a hoover or any of those do not compare in quality, filtration, or features. Sure they will pick up good out of the box, but that is not of great value if they don't retain the dirt, don't last longer then 5 years etc... Here are some models i would recommend. The Riccar Standar, Sebo G1 or X4 or Felix, Or the Miele Callisto. Good luck!!
