Q: What are the properties of metals?*Metals conduct heat and electricity.**Metals tend to lose electrons in reactions.*Metals usually are poor conductors of heat and electricity.Metals have shiny appearance.Metals tend to gain electrons in reactions.*Metals are ductile.**Metals are malleable.*Metals are not malleable.Am I wrong?? It says I am, but what am I missing? Thanks!
Reporting in! I love Folk Metal and Black Metal most. Immortal Finntroll Korpiklaani Gorgoroth
Q: I really want a good combo/custom for my beyblade metal fight/fusion topsPlz answer a good combo!
I freaking love you. Dethklok (Pshhh. Hellz yes.) Children Of Bodom Winds Of Plague Cradle Of Filth. I'm personally more partial to metalcore myself though. It was a love sparked at a festival in which mychildren mybride, Gwen Stacy and The Devil Wears Prada played :)
Q: Two different questions metal and death...
Black okorder
Q: what are metals use for
Honestly, I used to hate metal (with the exception of like, Iron Maiden). I really have no idea why... I just did. I also used to go on RP religiously, so I started to come across some really cool people who happened to listen to metal. They changed the perception I'd had of metal heads because I respected them and their opinions. I decided to give metal a chance mainly because I figured if they liked it, it couldn't be so bad. I liked the first songs I started listening to... though looking back they weren't all that great. They really only served the purpose of holding my interest in metal long enough for me to discover the first band I actually fell in love with, Ensiferum. And from there, it was a slow journey through folk metal, death metal, black metal, etc. that continues today.
Q: What metal is the hardest and has the most resistance to acids and corrosion?
-points at Hot Topic and runs- D: I'm a guy, I swears it!
Q: It sounds rather metal to me, but I'm not a musician or even a huge music lover. I am merely a casual listener. Why is nu-metal not considered metal?
metal today sucks unless your into the underground scene
Q: NO NU-METAL.Please don't Say Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Korn, System Of A Down, ect.I really like power metal and neo-classic, but anything's fine as long as it isn't nu-metal.
Black metal and Death metal originated from thrash metal thrash metal has a less heavy sound then black and death metal and black metal has a more high pitch hasty eviler sound than death metal examples of thrash metal:Metallica,Slayer,Nuclear Assualt,Kreator examples of death metal:Cannibal corpse,Dying Fetus, death examples of black metal:Mayham,Dimmu borgir, gorogoth
Q: So im not really into metal, more the punk rock screamo stuff but my friend is telling me to listen to metal. What are some good metal bands apart from the obvious like metallica, lamb of god, slayer, iron maiden, in flames, and machiene head..**** i didnt even know i knew that many o:
semiconductors - metal halogens - nonmetal noble gases - nonmetal Semiconductors are used for the transference of energy. They can be found in things such as solar panels. Halogens are the elements like chlorine and bromine and are the elements in the column second to the right. The noble gases are... clearly not metal... they're gases... it's in the name!
Q: Remember Pop fans Metal isn't just the black metal crap that you hear on the radioRemember Metal there are still some quality pop songs (very very little but there is always one once in a while)
In no particular order, though I'm numbering them so that it's easier on your eyes 1.Iron Maiden (of course)- NWOBHM 2.Candlemass- Doom Metal 3.Amon Amarth- Viking-themed Melodic Death Metal 4.Ensiferum- Folk Metal/Melodic Death Metal 5.In Flames (the melo-death, not metalcore band)- Melodic Death Metal 6.Children of Bodom- Melodic Death Metal 7.Soilwork- Melodic Death Metal (as you can see, melo-death is my favorite) 8.Kalmah- Melodic Death Metal 9.Death- Death Metal 10.Opeth- Progressive Death Metal 11.Slayer- Thrash Metal 12.Iced Earth- Power Metal 12.Symphony X- Power Metal/Neoclassical (genre is debatable) 13.Wintersun- Melodic Death Metal 14.Arch Enemy- Melodic Death Metal 15.Immortal- Black Metal 16.Finntroll- Folk Metal 17.Judas Priest- NWOBHM 18.Epica- Symphonic Metal 19.Nightwish- Symphonic/Gothic Metal 20.Sonata Arctica- Power Metal
Q: For example, to obtain a metal hydroxide, (Metal) + Oxygen have to react to get (Metal)-hydroxide and hydrogen. To get a metal oxide, you need (Metal) + (something) to get (something). I can't figure out what you need with metal to get metal oxide. Any help would be appreciated.
Thrash metal, death metal, power metal, first wave black metal, second wave black metal, technical metal, sludge metal, battle metal, to name but a few
