Calcium Silicon Powder

1. Description:

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.

Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.

(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.

(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.

(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

Q: what are teh metals used for communications and their cost., efficiency resistance?
Metal + acid -> salt + hydrogen gas Salt may be common salt (if the acid is HCl) or some other salt, depending on the acid used.
Q: There's something I've been wondering. Where is metal going to go next? Thrash was created in the pursuit of heavier and even more extreme metal, and then black and death doing the same, eventually killing thrash. With death and black metal being the apex of metal extremity right now, where are we going to go next? Will new metal bands keep seeking new extremities, or are we at the peak? Should we be looking into grindcore and it's subgenres such as deathgrind and goregrind for the future? This is speaking in terms of metal advancing in extremity and brutality, not thinking about other genres of metal that aren't created in the quest for extreme metal.
Metals like iron, potassium, zinc, and magnesium are found in the human bloodstream and are needed or else we'd all be dead.
Q: a major difference between metals and nonmetals is that metal atoms lose their outer electrons whereas nonmetals prefer to gain electrons. Why is this statement true. Please explain.
A number of overlapping heavy metal genres have developed since the emergence of heavy metal (often shortened to metal) in the late 1960s. Even though metal genres at times are difficult to segregate, they usually show differing characteristics in overall structures, instrumental and vocal styles, and tempo. However, sometimes a particular trait is common in several genres, and thus metal genres are normally grouped by a combination of traits. 1 Primary heavy metal subgenres 1.1 Black metal 1.2 Death metal 1.3 Doom metal 1.4 Folk metal 1.5 Glam metal 1.6 Gothic metal 1.7 Groove metal 1.8 Industrial metal 1.9 Metalcore 1.10 Neo-classical metal 1.11 Nu metal 1.12 Post-metal 1.13 Power metal 1.14 Progressive metal 1.15 Sludge metal 1.16 Speed metal 1.17 Stoner metal 1.18 Thrash metal 2 Cross-genre terms within heavy metal 2.1 Alternative metal 2.2 Avant-garde metal 2.3 Christian metal 2.4 Classic metal 2.5 Dark metal 2.6 Extreme metal 2.7 NWOBHM 2.8 Punk metal 2.9 Rapcore 2.10 Symphonic metal 2.11 Viking metal
Q: Does anyone know of ANY metal songs that have Dubstep drops?
metal + metal makes a metallic bond
Q: Is Deathcore considered proper metal?
But the sounds of a hog being slaughtered are so wonderful <3
Q: I love metal, mostly thrash and doom metal. I don't really like nu-metal, but most metalheads seem to hate it. Why is that?
Check out Gojira, Arcturus, F*ck The Facts, The Amenta, Blood Revolt, Cattle Decapitation, Cryptopsy (old), The Locust, Naked City, Pig Destroyer, Ved Buens Ende.
Q: alkali metalshalogensnoble gasestransition metals
Most likely the sheet metal from Home Despot is galvanized steel. Not much for interesting patinas there, either a whitish powdery finish or a rust color, depending on how much zinc is on the surface of the steel. The best metals for patinas are copper based alloys. Brass is probably the worst, with bronze being the almost best. Copper would be the ultimate best. There may be some copper sheet at HD, or other hardware stores. You might try some roofing supply outfits, sometimes copper sheet is used as flashing on finer homes or historical restorations. As far as what chemical(s) to use, the application, and preservation of the finished patina is a whole 'nuther question. Finding the metal is the first step. Good luck
Q: I've heard people call it bad (rolls eyes) I only listen to one band X japan. I love them, but they are from the 80s. Crazy 80s. I saw one video, and now I'm scared for life. :) Haha...youtube should block some things... gt;.gt; ANYWAY. I'm 14. Is heavy metal from back then a bad influence? Do you think it is?
I would estimate that it's probably New York - New York being one of the main origins, if not THE main origin, of the Hardcore music scene in the US. Other areas/cities I would think that have been highly influential in the US or have very active metal music scenes: San Diego, CA Atlanta, GA Detroit, MI St. Paul, MN
Q: metal to metal bonding
Pantera is Power Metal. They're pretty good. Slipknot is not heavy metal. They play a type of music called mallcore (incorrectly called nu-metal by some). Their guitar skills are zero (guitar is the essence of heavy metal). If you want high quality heavy metal, try Testament. Other great bands include Megadeth, Iron Maiden and Dio.
Q: Whats the difference between Death Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Deathcore, Doom Metal and Black Metal?
Marilyn Manson and Limp Bizkit are metal. There are different subgenres of metal you know..
