Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

- Yes. The definition of heavy metal has changed over the years, and it has split into various subgenres, but i still respect it as a form of music. In the late 60's heavy metal was rooted heavily in the blues, and bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath were called heavy metal. I don't know if younger people would consider their music to be heavy metal now.

I really hate people who think that if you like metal, you like Iron Maiden, Dragonforce, Metallica, Megadeth, corpse paint wearing Black Metal bands, wizards, Lord of the Rings, and other nerdy, childish crap. It bugs me that some people don't even consider metal music. I mean come on. Isn't jumping on the anti metal bandwagon, just to be different, not being different. - Q:Do you think nu-metal is metal? Alot of people believe that metalcore, and nu metal is not metal...I think that both genres are metal...just not pure metal. They include other influences.
