FAQ
1. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
2. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
3. Why choose our Floor Tile?
1). Less investment and shorter lead time because we ship tiles directly from Factory.
2). Better ETD and more stable price bacause we keep abundant stock for future needs.
4. What exhibition we joined?
1). Canton Fair (every year)
2). Dubai Big 5
5. What's the characteristics about porcelain tiles and glazed tiles? Which one
more slippery, more aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean?
Glazed tiles are colorful, the effect is rather diverse, stain-slip, abrasion resistance but worse than the porcelain tiles. Long-term use may wear a large surface; porcelain tiles have the higher degree, long hard wear surface. Good performance and stable cleanup (before playing the best times to use the wax to improve stain resistance). The porcelain tiles are weaker performance in non-slip than glazed tiles. We should take attention on its anti-slip properties, face down in a tiled brick water testing.
- Q:we‘re moving into a new home that has hot pink ceremic tile as the kitchen counter top and back splash. Can we paint over the tile or do we need to remove the tile and start over with a new counter top.
- Don't do it. Remove the old tile and start over. You have to live with this for a long time (I'm assuming you own). Don't live with something thats not what you want. Even if you think down the road at resale value....a painted tile (I don't think you can even do it) would be a real black mark against the property.
- Q:I am in the process of tiling my bathroom, now that I have the 12 X 12 tiles on the floor and nearly done with them, I need to do the walls behind the toilet sink and cabinet. My question is, how far do I have to move the toilet flange (pipe) forward so the new tiles will not interfere. The toilet sits right on the wall. I used 1/2 backerboard, and I am using a 4x4 tile and thinset to mix and hold it together.
- If you removed the drywall and installed the cement board then add the thickness of the tile plus 1/4 inch for the thin set. If you put the cement board over the drywall then and in the 1/2 inch into your total. It's not a bad idea to give it a little extra room behind the toilet. You don't really want the tank right up against the tiles anyway. All it takes is somebody to lean back on that tank and crack a tile .Give it an extra 1/4 inch. Bottom line the toilet flange should be 12 inches from the finished wall by code. Don't forget to use a thicker wax ring or a flange extension when you reset that toilet to make up the difference of the cement board and tile.
- Q:I am redoing my bathroom floor and I am going to use stick on tiles how do I put them on? Do you just stick them on the
- For your best adhesion. its best to start out with a clean wood sub floor. Depending on what is down now, its best to put a new luan sub floor. These you can sometimes go over whats there now and sometimes its best to rip out and start new. Always start from the middle and work to the out side. But if your tile lays out to less than a 1/2 tile, move the tile over the center line by a 1/2 tile. Now MOST peel n stick are directional so they must be layed all in one direction.. This is personal preference, but I like to have a whole tile at the doorway and what ends up in back is the way it is unless its a real small pc. Dry lay out the tiles to see what you like.. Any flooring questions you can e mail me thru my avatar.. GL
- Q:Which tile is best Porcelain or ceramic for a concrete floor?
- Either will be fine for a residential setting. Installed properly both will last for years to come. Neither will break if installed properly if something is dropped on them. You can possible get top chips if a heavy object is dropped and both will show the inner body core unless you buy a true porcelain and not the average porcelain glazed tile. Unless you have major moisture problems tile can be used any time. Some moisture ( if any) will wick up and dissipate as normal. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
- Q:okay so im a dancer, but i never really bothered to try tap. but since this year the company im on says i have to. I bought my shoes yesterday and i have to practice like crazy in two days because that when i start.:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::MAIN POINT!but i noticed the tile in my house is uneven like some of the corners and the sides come up and and really pointy(and sharp). IS IT BAD TO TAP ON UNEVEN TILE??WILL IT MESS UP MY TAP SHOES?
- itll scrape the metal and with the taps tile is VERY SLIPPERY!!! so beware!!!
- Q:I recently put in a wood stove. It was professionally installed and certified to meet fire regulations. I don‘t know anything really about the install just that it doesn‘t require any r value underneath it. It just requires a pad for embers. There was a long waiting list to get it installed but an opening came up and we got it installed sooner than we planned. So we didn‘t get the tiling done. Currently it is sitting on a base made with 2x6s spaced 6 apart covered with 3/4 plywood and a sheet of durock cement board attached with durock screws and all seems taped with durock tape and covered with durock cement plaster. I want to finish it with tile. However, the stove is too heavy for us to lift. Its a pedestal woodstove so would it look okay tile up to the pedestal? If so how much space should I leave against the pedestal? What should I put in the gap? High-heat caulking? I‘m very new to this so any advice is welcomed. Thanks!
- when you tile you will also be using grout between each tile this same grout is what will fill the void between the tile and your stove. as to how much space should be between you will want to pick up some spacers when you get your tile as well as the grout, tile adhesive,a spreader,a sponge and a simple tile cutter.ps most places that sell tile will also be able to give advice as to how to complete your project.
- Q:and people will rip up the 12X12 tile floor and replace it with smaller tiles? Just need a few opinions.
- 12 x 12 tile has been in vogue ...forever. Colors change but natural stone colors never go out of style. I think glass tile is a fad. But 12 x 12 will be around forever. Black and white checkered tiled floors for instance date back to 1920's and are still going strong.
- Q:Following on from my previous question about tiles... I had asked if it's better to remove them or tile over the top. At that time, I thought they were bedded in the same stuff as the bathroom tiles were upstairs which was a very fine and compacted sandy stuff that was not set. However, after trying to remove a couple of the mosaic floor tiles in the kitchen, it seems they are bedded in the actual concrete floor itself !!! and instead of being able to remove them, it just chips the tile and breaks off the surface somewhat. They're extremely difficult to remove so: Will my new tiles be completely ok if set on top of these? can you please let me know how to prepare them and what to look out for?Height-wise it doesn't matter, I'll simply order shorter doors. I'm really concerned about the long term strength because it's a kitchen that will get a lot of use / humidity/ etc...Thank you
- You can set tiles over tiles . You ll need to get a thin set that is modified to do this. Check on the back of the bag it will tell you . The price will give it away too lol.Tiles must be clean and oil free of course. The one step some people don t do that I do every time I do this. You must wait a day or two extra before going in and walking and grouting these tiles. The thin set needs extra drying time since moisture in thin set can t go any where. If your doing it your self no problem. If some one else does it ask them to do it on a friday and grout on monday. Or if that can t be worked out , have them do it and possible go do another small job and come back in a couple days to do it. Any questions you can e mail me GL
- Q:I am looking to tile my livingroom/kitchen area appx 500sf. I am going with porcelain due to the strength ( i was told its better). My question is for resal (4-5 years) what is a better tile to lay; polished tile or regular glaze. I like the shiny clear coat look the polished has but someone mentioned it picks up footprints and it is not good for resale. Also, I was thinking that If I went with a larger tile, 18X18 or larger that it would look much cleaner with less grout lines, but since its only an area of 500sf that it would make my place look smaller than it is?any suggestions are helpful. Thanks
- A high sheen tile is going to give you a more formal look. A matte finish will be more casual. If you place the tiles on a 45 degree angle, the space will appear larger, but it will require more cuts and a little more tile. If you use 18 tiles and keep them squared with the room shape, the room will appear smaller. I am not a fan of big grout lines unless you are using Saltillo (Mexican) tiles. If you have the option of coloring the grout I would try to match the tile as closely as possible, unless you want to call attention to the grout.
- Q:hey guys my house just got renovated a few days ago... it seems like some tiles have tough stains on it. is there a type of detergent or anything that removes it off? it looks well ugly and makes the surface rough... it's on both my floor and wall tiles
- i dont think you are going to be able to do this and still maintain the glossiness of the tile but i would brush on a 50/50 mix of muriatic acid and water and scrape off the big blobs with a putty knife ...then take a stiff brush to it...rinse well...
