1. What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

2. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:We are using some leftover floor tile (6x6 size) and some new decorative tile (2x2 and 1x1) to tile our backsplash. Can we use the same mortar that we used on the floor? Also, we used a 1/4 inch notched trowel when doing the floor -- should we use a smaller notch for the backsplash (say, a 1/8 inch notched trowel)? Finally, the floor tile and the 1x1 tiles are porcelain. The 2x2 tile is tumbled travertine with quite a few pits on the surface. We don‘t know if we should fill those pits with grout or not. On one hand -- it will make the tiles easier to clean if they are filled (yes?). On the other, we like the look of the pits and don‘t know if we want the grout (which is a slightly darker color) filling the pits. Any suggestions?: If you are not tiling a lot later don't buy another trowel. The porcelain thin set should be fine for back-splash, because it is stronger than the regular one. The pits are the beautiful parts of the tile, don't fill grout on it, otherwise it looks like you pick them from trash. You should use tile sealer to seal the surface of the tile, not the bottom, it would easy to clean out the thin set or grout and avoid it absorb water.

Q:Recently want to decorate the house, in addition to the location of the two bedrooms have to shop porcelain, ask the tiles below can be installed to warm it? Will the heating effect be discounted? Can you install the bathroom in the bedroom and warm in another room? Q:Im going to put tile floors in my home, and working on a budget so i cant spend too much. question is I am undecided regarding the color, i found a brownish color tile kinda like sienna not to dark 16x16 and another beige with cream and is glossy with a design etch on it really nice, but in a 12x12 i think. anyway, i really like the sienna color for the living room, kitchen, foyer and hallway, but i dont think it would look right in the bathroom, i like the beige for the bath. i have a very small bathroom so wold it look weird to have two diffrent tiles in a home? i plan to paint my living room in a grayish blue color french blue i think its called with white trim but still undecided in bathroom i really need some advise on this so if anyone knows please help: You can use as many different styles of tile that you choose since you won't be viewing both rooms at the same time. The 16 x 16 would work fine if your kitchen is a decent size. I have a rather small bathroom and I installed 12 x 12 tile on the floor, walls, and shower enclosure and I love it. The less grout you have to deal with, the easier it is to take care of tile. Installation was messy (it was my first attempt at laying tile), but I would do it over in a heartbeat. By the way, I was told you have to have at least 1/2 inch spacing between tiles, but that just isn't so. I would have been better off using a 1/4 inch spacing.

Q:I would like to install laminated flooring in my kitchen. Two of the wall are tiled. Is it possible to undercut these tiles or is there an easier method to do a neat installation?: DO NOT cut the tile. You will crack, chip and split, and potentially ruin much of the tile work. Then you are stuck with a much larger issue. The solution is simple. Lay the laminate right up to the tile. Use quarter round molding (small). If you use wood, paint it to match the tile, floor, or simply paint it an accent color. The molding can be glued into place, thus relieving you of further issues and making the transition beautiful between floor and wall. Tile may also be glued, or use mastic, to place. Then grout. This is, however, a much more expensive option. But, to prevent a potential disaster, it is worth it. The other, simpler resolution, is to lay the tile right up to the tile and seal between floor and wall with a washable silicon. Write to me if you have any questions.

Q:I have tiles around all of my kitchen and would like to cover them. Can I skim plaster over them because it would take weeks to remove them? Is there any other way round avoiding removing them? Any ideas welcome. They are driving me up the wall, literally! HELP.: You can apply plaster to tiles but as they are non-absorbant you have to use a neat bonding agent first. Then apply the plaster when the agent is still tacky. Alternatively you can apply a slurry of 2 parts sharp sand and 1 part cement, mixed with 1 part bonding agent to 1 part water. Apply this with a stiff brush to give a stippled coating. When dry plaster over. Though I havent tried it I should think that using a builders adhesive you can stick plasterboard to tiles or why not tile over with new tiles. I did that in my bathroom with no problems.-just make sure tiles are cleaned of grease then tile in usual way. Hope this helps

Q:so i was wanting to lay some ceramic tiles down in a small room. right now in the room i think theres vinyl tiles and they r laid right on top of the pplywood floor. so im just wondering am i able to just lay the ceramic tiles right on top of the plywood floor after i tear up scrape up the old floor? any advice?: the plywood is a subfloor. after you remove the vinyl. you should lay an underlayment before tiling. check at the tile store for instructions. Don't think you can do a quick cheap job on tiles because the tiles or grout lines will crack and you'll have to redo everything. The subfloor makes for a clean fresh starting surface and should be screwed down every few inches as per instructions.

Q:I am purchasing a home and need to change the flooring before moving in. It is a 1500 sq foot house including garage, laundry room etc. I have already picked out carpet for the 3 bedrooms but am trying to decide on laminate wood floors or tile? It would be in the rest of the house including hallway, living room, and kitchen. I have heard tile floors are great, yet hard to clean, and hurt people‘s legs. I haven‘t heard too much about the laminate floors.Any opinions, suggestions, stories?? I would really appreciate it!: Quality laminate is a good way to go. Although you can get a good tile for the same price as a good laminate, the tile labor per s/f is about double and you ll most likely need a backer board ( unless your on slab completely) this is about the same price for s/f as a laminate. Which makes tile up to 3xs the cost of good laminate. I personally favor tile since thats the bulk of my trade for 20 years but with that amount 0f s/f to do I d do laminate because of the ease of cleaning.Dust mopping with a spray mist ( NO mopping) is very easy. So if you have kids, dogs or don t want the extra cleaning , a good laminate is the way to go. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL

Q:Does anyone know where I could find a (preferably antique) terracotta roof tile? I am finding companies that import these tiles, but they sell 100 at a time, while I need 1-3.: Call any roofing supply store in south Florida, Arizona, Texas, Southern California, Nevada or any southern US state. They are used extensively. Actually they are quite easy to make. Originally they were made by using moist, flat terracotta clay and it was formed over a mans upper leg to get the shape, then put aside to dry.

Q:Our house has the same ceramic tile throughout the house but when we bought it, the owner didn‘t have any extra tiles. We have a crack that has spread through several tiles and needs to be repaired in some way. I haven‘t been able to find these tiles at any store. Any suggestions on how to get matching tiles or how to fix the crack if I can‘t find the matching tiles?: Try to remove one or part of one (you may end up cracking another one though). Take it to a large tile store with experienced trained experts. Beware though - even if you do find the exact tile, it may not match exactly due to dye lots just plain aging of the current tiles. The current tile may not have been installed properly with hardibacker if there's a lot of cracking, or the tile itself may not have been the best quality, or they were cracked during moving of heavy appliances - a few possible scenarios of why these tiles cracked. SOMETIMES tile can be repaired, but it usually doesn't last long, especially if the cause was poor installation or the floor heaved for some reason.
