1. For Glazed Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 8 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1105.92 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers.
- Q: In my home, we have polished tiles. My kid has fall-down most of the time. Can anyone help me to remove polish from ceramic tiles?
- You do not want to do this for two reasons. One is that it will take away all the protection from the tile that allows the tile itself to be water proof and stain proof. Take away the glaze and the tile will stain. The second reason is that the glaze provides most of the tile body strength. A couple of things to help prevent tiles from being slick.. Remove all wet shoes and keep the floor dry. Hard with kids I know. Anti slip area rugs helps. And lastly there are products that you can use in the mop water that helps the tiles from being slick. - Q: I want to lay tile on a house I just bought. What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain tile and which one would be the best fit for my house? The tile is going to be in the living room, dinning room, and kitchen. Also, how much is it going to cost me for labor to lay down the tile? Total square feet is going to be around 600 sq ft.
- I okorder /... As far as how much it will cost to install you will need to go to home depot or lowes and get an estimate. Call around locally or ask any neighbors that have had tile installed.
- Q: I‘m assisting my friend with a property renovation and I need to know with tiles to buy. Can you guys help me out?
- Ceramic or a vinyl tile in a property renovation? Vinyl tiles , I d use a VCT or a pure , color all the way through tile. Proper maintenance and keeping in sealed and polished is the way to make this tiles last a long time.. Ceramic tile work great too but the cost and installation product will add up but the tile will out last almost any thing for durability. The slip rating I d suggest nothing less than a 4.. And BTW.. Grout is a lot cheaper per s/f than any average tile, so don t let that bother you. Proper installation is the key to a long lasting ceramic til job. - Q: I‘m installing a kitchen back splash of 1 x 1 glass tile. Right now there is drywall where the tile will be. I‘ve read that it is better to use cement backing board as a substrate. Is this really necessary or can I just use thin-set to mount the tile directly to the drywall and then grout as usual? Thanks for your help!
- The drywall is fine. Make sure you press all the air bubbles out of the thinset or they will look really bad when dry.
- Q: how to tile vanity top and back splash?
- No you don t have to, since this is really classified as a non wet area. I know you ll splash some water there but the basic tile will take care of that. You won t hurt a thing replacing the sheet rock with it but you don t need to. To tile a vanity top, secure ( glue and screw) 3/4 ply or 2 -1/2 ( cross the ply graining for strength ) ply to the counter top. Properly thinset and nail down (or screw down)1/2 cement board to the ply with proper length galvanized nails or screws. Thin set down your tile and grout after 24 hrs. Then re set you plumbing. I ve done a couple 100 over the years and not 1 failure going over the dry wall in this type of non wet area.. Wet areas such as tubs and showers I ve always used a cement backer board .. - Q: I have granite tiles I want to put on a kitchen countertop. I removed the laminate and underneath is about 1.5 thick of a particle board of some sort. The countertop is very sturdy and the board is in great shape. I know if this stuff get wet, you can have problems, but otherwise it seems to be very sturdy stuff. I know most people will say you need to put down a sheet of hardibacker, but I don‘t see the point. With a top grade thinset, these tiles will definitely adhere to the board extremely well. Grount lines will be extremely tiny and I‘m going to double seal everything with a really good sealer. I don‘t see anyway water is going to penetrate these tiles and thinset and get to the particle board. That‘s really the whole issue, right?
- I personally would rather have hardibacker. Flooring people in my house right now repairing the floor and a joist because it was not used. Not even in an area that gets a lot of water exposure. Consider how often the counter gets wet and cleaned. That may change your mind. Also, you will need to reseal this more often than the product recommendations because of the amount of wear that is involved. Granite is also pourous and can vary on the quality. I just asked the tile/granite guys that are doing my work. Said they would not recomment it in tiles - sheeted granite is a different story.

- Surprisingly, if you go to Lowes or Home Depot and look in the tile section, it really isn't that expensive to put down new tile. There is a tool to remove the grout from the old tile so that you can pry the old tile up. After that, the installation isn't difficult. I would go that route as opposed to trying to doctor old tile. Good luck!
