1. What is the delivery time after we paid the deposit?
—— Normally, we shall get all items ready for loading within 3 weeks after we get the deposit or the formal Letter of Credit. For orders which demand cutting job, it will take a longer time.

- Q: Installing support bars on bathtub ceramic tile
- Use a nail set and a hammer (gently) to break the glaze where you wish to drill. Then, using a tile bit or carbide tipped masonry bit, slowly drill your hole through the tile. If you use a hammer drill, turn the hammer action off. It will increase the chance of breaking the tile immensely. EDIT: Masonry bit works very well on ceramic, marginally well on porcelain.

- Ok here goes. I just did that same job and disposed of it a little at a time in the trash by breaking it up. I removed it with a hair dryer of all things. You heat the tiles up with it and scrape under them. Most of the tar or adhesive will come with it. Plan on it taking a good deal of time too. I then just washed it down good let it dry over night and re-did peel and stick tiles with a shiny finish. It looks great. Happy flooring.

Certainly you CAN probably paint over, but may never truly be satisfied with the result, especially over any long term. - Q: The shiny surface ceramic tile is set unto a cement slab - it has been there 15 years or more with no cracks. Do I need to rough up the surface before I set the tile- if so how? I have tried sanding it (60 grit), wire brushing it - there is no effect on the surface. Also I live in a small town - we do have a Home Depot - do they sell a good bonding agent? If so what? Thank-you for your answer!
- To go over tile I ve used both Flex Bond and VesaBond thinset made by Custom Building products, Both are usually sold at Home Depot.. One suggestion when tiling over tile, allow a few extra days drying time before any foot traffic on the new tile . Moisture has no where to go when doing this and extra drying time IS required. Do NOT add a latex additive if you use a polymer type thin set, only a latexed based thin set.. No sanding is generally needed, just a clean , oil and grease free tile. - Q: Is it hard to fit tile around the toilet? Should I start there first?
- it's not hard to do but you have a little bit of cutting to do. to start with the peel an stick, i would start in the middle of you doorway to the bathroom and go straight across the room( you want full tiles in front of the door) and leave cut ends to the one side. once you get that line across and use a laser line if you have one, everything else is smooth sailing... before you put the peel and stick down... what do you have on the floor now? if you have other tile down, i would not put new stuff over top of it, it usually don't stick right, try putting a thin sheet of plywood down or(i believe it's called mahogany) you can buy thin sheets of this. put it down first and then tile. it's a little bit more work but it's worth it, cost less too if your not replacing in a few months too. Have fun, it's easy, i did mine first try!!! :)

- If you are on a budget, I would suggest, instead of tiles, which can be expensive, since they are mainly geared toward commercial uses- finding remnants. Most tiles are glued down, and as the prior person suggested would be easier for the first time when using a solid color. You will need to see what kind of glue the manufacturer suggests, or you might void any warranty issue that could arise in the future.
- Q: Hi, I`m planning a bathroom remodel soon, and I want to use the same floor tiles as before - they are beautiful! But I just can`t find them anywhere (we bought this house recently and the previous owner did the remodel, and we can`t get hold of him any more). If anyone recognizes them, I`d be really grateful if you could point me in the direction of where to find them. Thank you SO much!Further info: the tiles are a fraction under 4 square and are a kind of gray-based quartz or granite (not sure of the difference, sorry!) with flecks of aquamarine and blue that give it an overall pale blue hue. They sit between plain white tiles with the corners shaped to accept the smaller blue squares.I`ve looked in Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon and online but so far no luck :( !
- You will have to contact a company and request a catalog of their tiles that they manufacture. After a run of tiles are made the next run will not be the exact same to match. It's very possible that no manufacturing tile company is still making the tile. With the wear and glaze that the tile has it would be impossible to get a match. I suggest that you shop for tiles that will enhance and blend with what you have and you may even use hard wood and tile aquamarine color that will pull the color hue from your present tile. - I'm a construction manager who has built a lot of schools. There are several reasons. First is that there are all kinds of wiring and piping and ductwork systems up in the ceilings above your head. In order to hide them, dropped ceiling frames are installed with removable tiles so that the maintenance people can get up there to service the systems. Second, the tiles are acoustic absorbing material to reduce echoing and keep the room more quiet. Third is for temperature regulation, insulating the space and reducing the height of the room to make it easier to cool it or warm it. And of course, there is the extra bonus that you can get a pencil or a spoonful of canned peas to stick to it so it falls on somebody later on (I may be an adult, but I remember being a schoolkid).
