1. What is the delivery time after we paid the deposit?
—— Normally, we shall get all items ready for loading within 3 weeks after we get the deposit or the formal Letter of Credit. For orders which demand cutting job, it will take a longer time.

- Q: Is there a brand logo on the back of the tiles
- This is not sure, and some brand tiles have, and some brand tiles are not.
- Q: We are about to install 450 sq ft of 18x18 inch travertine tile on an indoor concrete floor and I need as much information about the installation process as possible. I have done a number of ceramic tile jobs, but never laid travertine. Some of the questions I have are:1. is it best to use spacers and grout, or butt the tiles?2. if I use spacers, what size should I use?3. should I apply a coat of sealer to the tiles before laying them?4. what size notched trowel should I use and at what angle?5. how many coats of sealer, brand and type of finish is recommended?6. I read somewhere that it is not recommended laying travertine straight, but in a Versailles pattern. Any one have any idea what this is?Does anyone have any more advice on laying this type of tile. - Q: I just installed a backsplash in my kitchen. It is glass mosaics with slate - 1x1. Today I began grouting and after it sat for 2 hours ( as instructed) I began wiping it down with a wet sponge. After scrubbing it for about an hour there is still a considerable amount of grout on the tiles - especially the slate. I used non sanded grout which is recommended for my tiles, but it will not come off! What can I do to remove the grout off of these tiles without scratching them? Please help. Thankyou
- I don t know who told you 2 hrs but that's totally wrong.He/ she should be shot or fired for telling you that. I d suggest a sanded grout for a slate, even a small 1x1 but with the glass tiles, you have to be careful not to scratch them. Did you seal the slate prior to setting or at least grouting?The grout my be clinging to the unsealed slate as well. At this point vinegar and water will not touch it. Start by scrapping off excess with a pc of wood or a plastic scraper.Don t use any thing metal. Once the excess is off, get a cleaner specifically for grout clean up.Hydroment makes a product called Remove but you can find other products were tile products are sold. - Q: Is it possiable to stain or paint a ceramic tile floor. If so what are the steps I need to take to do it.We laid it about a year ago. My husband picked it out and it just does not look good next to the other tile he put in. - You did not state whether the tile is glazed or terra cotta. If it is glazed, you will not be happy with the result of painting it. So forget that. However, if the tile is terra cotta then its surface is somewhat porous, and if it has never been treated with a tile sealant then it can be stained. First, if you can, test a scrap of tile or a small area that is not very visible. You might also want to carefully use a grout sealant only on the grout to protect the grout from being stained. Stain would be wiped on and wiped off about a minute later. Then after at least 48 hours of drying time, the tile should be sealed.

- Check out Home Depot or Lowes.............personal opinion - don't use carpet at all - it holds in so much dirt, dust, mites, smells, etc. Terrible for anyone with allergies. Just my opinion. The only place that has carpet in our house is the stairs and hallway...........put laminate wood flooring in the bedrooms and tile everywhere else. You can buy throw rugs that can be cleaned easier than carpeting. Best of luck!! ?

- I'm sure there are stone and tile distributors in your area. Check the yellow pages. For a project as small as a fireplace, they are sure to have some discounted lots of material like that you can get a good deal on. I find specialty places like that have much better prices and selection than the big box stores. It's something you need to find locally, not on line, since shipping is prohibitive for construction materials.
- Q: I just remodeled a home and I am having a hard time cleaning the newly istalled tile. I mop and mop but the tile still looks dirty. I guess its all the powder and sand that was created by the remodeling. Am I supposed to use some type of acid or buffer?
- Never use any strong acid on tiles.Instead try vinegar.Mix 1tbl spoon of vinegar with 1cup of water.Apply it on your tiles let it get dry.Then scrub wash with detergent water.May be it will take some time repetation of the effort but you will get the result .

- Q: A few tiles in my building flat give a cracking noise when i step on them.Upon inspection i found that the tiles make cracking sound even when i press them with my hands but requires some strength.There is a small airgap in a few joints but the gap is very small.The tiles were installed almost 15 years ago and i dont know how old the building is but is considered an earthquake proof structure.The cracking sound is sometimes even for as long as 1-2 seconds when standing on it.So is it a lose tile or a foundation crack?
- It sounds like the tiles has become loose. There is a chance that the subfloor may be loose as well depending upon what it is made out of and how it was installed. Wood subfloors can become loose if they are nearly nailed down and not screwed down. The best thing to do at this point is to take up the floor and inspect any problems with the subfloor and make any repairs. Then install new tile. If you want to save a few bucks you can take up just the ones that are loose and install new tiles that look best in their place.
