- Q: on this link.. uld someone please tell me what color glass tile is on the first and the second photos of the bathrooms?the top bathroom looks more like a pink base and the second bathroom has the dark gray tiles and the purple walls. also, what kind of walls are these? it looks different than just regular paint. i need a link to the tiles that both of these bathrooms have. i think the first one is more of a pink base and the second is more of a silver base.

- Q: I recently got some ceramic tile for free that the construction company was just going to throw away. How do I tell if they are wall or floor tile? I think it has something to do with the way the back of the tile looks, but I'm not sure.

- This must be wall tiles. Just tell mom what happen and then mom will know how it happen and get it fixed, They may have to remove few more tiles to fix this if same tiles are not available. If you have some stains to remove, try a few of these suggestions to get your tile looking new again. 1.Clean the stained area with plain water and a soft cloth. Dry thoroughly. 2.Put on gloves. Use these to protect your hands even if the product is considered natural or non-toxic. 3.Mix borax and lemon juice together on a disposable plate or bowl. The consistency should be a paste-like substance. Rub onto the stain and allow it to dry completely. Rinse the ceramic tile with water and repeat until stain is gone. 4.Use a mixture of a vinegar and salt to make a paste. Apply to the rust stain and wait 4 to 5 hours and then rinse with hot water. Repeat as necessary. 5.Consider purchasing a Lustro Italiano cleaning kit. Apply to area with a moistened, soft cloth. This Lustro Italiano will remove the stain and not scratch surfaces. - Q: I have tiles around all of my kitchen and would like to cover them. Can I skim plaster over them because it would take weeks to remove them? Is there any other way round avoiding removing them? Any ideas welcome. They are driving me up the wall, literally! HELP.
- Hi Neil There is tile paint on the market if it is only the colour you donot like. It maybe possible to fix plaster board over them and then plaster but check with a builder. Sarah Cox
- Q: I am about to renewing my kitche.I plan to install tile.Well I have no tile cutter but I do have a simple, regular cutt off electrical tools and a diamond blade.Should this be enough for it?
- The only cutting tool you can't go without is an angle grinder.Get the Dewalt that costs between $50 $60 dollars.It's lighter weight has the amps to make it happen.Buy a diamond blade but do not get the Bosch Turbo.It's inferior.Also,you want a continuous rim on that cutting wheel.The 4in. is the way to go.I can do entire houses full of tile with nothing but a grinder.Gonna be real dusty,though.
