FAQ
1. For the delivery term, could you go with CFR our port?
—— Yes, of course. We have very good relationship with those big shipping company, such as China Shipping, MSC, HPL etc.
2. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
3. For Glazed Floor Tile, is the 40*40 available?
—— Yes, 40*40 is available. Based on the actual market demand, we could also supply 45*45 and 50*50 accordingly.
- Q: I hava a 12x12 ceramic tile that we want to hang on the wall (not permanently). The tile has no hooks or anything in it. What‘s the best way to hang it?
- Command strips for heavy photos maybe?
- Q: it sets fast, is there any gun, aparatus or equipment to easly apply epoxy tile grout.
- 1. Why epoxy?, it will take longer to apply, will be messy and won't give you the opportunity to allow it to go under bare spot of your tile. 2. I would take it back and get regular grout. 3. Sounds like your going for a good seal and the best way to do that is regular grout and a grout sealer. 4. If you still want to use it, tape around all tiles, wear rubber gloves (surgical tight fitting type) and have a bucket of water handy. Apply epoxy about half of what you need, wet finger and push into cracks, then add more and smooth with wet finger. The whole process should take about an hour for a 4x4 section when you can grout a whole room in a half hour with regular grout. One last thing to consider, if you ever crack a tile it will be next to impossible to replace just one without breaking others around it, but with regular grout it would be relatively easy.
- Q: the kitchen is pretty spacious, but is it possible to put tiles on top of wood?
- You can do either, but as one person mentioned, there is a possibility that the old linoleum is backed with a material containing asbestos. Just lay the cement on top of the vinyl, leveling as you go. Another advantage to this method is that you might decide you want wood floors at some point and you might ruin it if you apply the new tile to the wood.
- Q: We are laying 18 x 18 porcelain tiles in our kitchen for an open house we‘re having in 6 days. We can‘t figure out when and how to tile under the refrigerator. Do we have to move the refrigerator into another room? Can we wait two days for the mortar and grout to set firm and move the refrigerator onto the newly installed tile so we can lay tile where refrigerator will go? If we do that, should we then wait 24 hours for that tile to set so we can move the refrigerator back into place?What is the best way to handle the installation? I would appreciate any thoughts on how this is most ideally done.
- I have always tiled under the fridge first if possible, move the fridge into the nearest room. Then after about two days after you finish then very gently use two pieces of plywood, half inch, move the fridge back over these two pieces, one at a time until the fridge is in.
- Q: The tile grout on my bathroom floor is white in some parts, but dark where husband stands next to the sink/toilet... How can I clean it without having to re-grout it? Can I just spray bleach on or will that ruin the tile?
- I can tell you what not to use. Hee hee. I have made the mistake of using Soft Scrub with bleach. It worked great! But then the next day I realized the grout had been eaten away. I use just bleach now. Or Clorox Clean-up. And the grout is still there! Whoo hoo!
- Q: We have an installer, whom seems to be doing it wrong. I can‘t find any website that explains how to install tile the way he is doing it. Can you tell me if this sounds correct?First he puts mortar on the bare cement floor, then put down versa-bond or a bonding agent.. and then he puts more mortar on the tile and then lays it down.. - it sounds like to me he's using a method called mud setting the tile,used on floors that concrete is low in spots,and sounds to me he knows what he is doing,
- Q: I just finished laying tile in my shower. How long do I need to wait before I grout? If it makes any difference they are simple 4 inch white tiles.Also, just out of curiosity, I was told I needed to spread the adhesive on the wall and place the tiles over that. It seems like it would have been easier to apply the adhesive to the back of the tiles. Especially the last few tiles. Does this make any difference?
- No the adhesive goes on the surface to be tiled. You're not just gluing tiles to a surface, you are actually building a new surface - backer+adhesive+tile+grout. As far as drying time the type tile doesn't really matter as much as the type/consistency adhesive you used (should have drying time on label) and the temperature/condition of the room (is it a used heated space or new damp construction). We tiled one day and grouted the next.
- Q: My tile is ugly mint green. nothing matches.I would like to know if I can paint this without it looking tacky.
- I have seen tile painted before. You have to get a special type of paint to paint tile. Go to the website below and search for painting tile. I have seen something on here before about this.

- You call go to lowe's or home depot on certain saturdays and they have a tiling class. You can learn a lot there and they can answer any questions you may have and you will have some come up that you didn't even think about.And if you can find a tape or dvd on tiling it will be a great help. This is how I learned and I enjoy tiling.
- Q: I found answers about laying tile and a backer board over linoleum I didn‘t know if they would be the same. What would cause tile to crack if it‘s places directly on concrete?
- do not lay ceramic tile over vinyl, vinyl moves. Ceramic does not and will crack
