FAQ
1. For the delivery term, could you go with CFR our port?
—— Yes, of course. We have very good relationship with those big shipping company, such as China Shipping, MSC, HPL etc.
2. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
3. For Glazed Floor Tile, is the 40*40 available?
—— Yes, 40*40 is available. Based on the actual market demand, we could also supply 45*45 and 50*50 accordingly.
- Q: I want to put vinyl tiles on my pre-existing ceramic tiles but in some areas there is no ceramic tiles and I need something to fill in the gap to make my floors even when I put on the vinyl tile. What should I use? Then when my floors are even how do i put my tiles?
- well you dont put anything over ceramic tile you rip it up after that then will talk
- Q: 6 blocks, 12 mirrors, 3 white tiles.
- you could make L shaped 'legs' (four) the same heoght with the glass blocks. turn the open parts toward the center, corners out. place the mirror on a piece of plywood, and frame the mirro with tile to make, coffee table, end table, sofa table, night table varying the design only by lengths and widths. You could make a set. Also take five mirror tiles and four 12 pieces of lumber. adhere a tile to two pieces of wood and set to dry, do it again, so to let two dry at a time. when dry, stand upright as ends of a cube use two tiles to complete the cube and set a fifth one on top for a mirror cube. Raise the mirror cube using glass blocks, as before. Cut a piece of 4x4 wood the lenth of the floor to ceilng and screw to a wall and tile with the white tiles to create architectural interest in a room. Build a column of wood, 12 x4 and use mirror on one side and tiles on the end to create a room dividing pice of art that uses the light in a room to trick the eye and increase it's size. With the prpoer nearly clear silicone you can create a column of glass blocks and light it from inside with christmas lights.
- Q: We have a fireplace in our lower level that is outdated, dingy old masonry and doesn‘t fit with the rest of our updates down there. I would like to tile over it and have it ready for use before our family comes over for Thanksgiving. What is the best method?
- You can attach tile directly to masonry, it has been done all over the world for centuries (Italy, Spain, Middle East all use tile on the exterior of buildings...) I would assume normal thin-set mortar would work, but I believe it would depend on the exact type of masonry- concrete block or clay brick. A thicker adhesive bed will likely be necessary to smooth over the rough surface, but because of the relatively porous surface of most types of masonry your bond should be excellent. My only word of caution would be if you have any cracks in the masonry. Make sure they are not active (widening and narrowing), which may occur with temperature and humidity swings. Either way, you may choose to weld the crack with epoxy to prevent any crack movements that may telegraph through your tile and crack it. - Q: i;m going to install a medallion and i need to cut circle on four tiles. is there anything else besides a hand grinder that will do the job, ( cheap) i don‘t want to spend 300$$ just to cut 4 tiles to make a circle for the medallion to fit. thanks
- Maybe take them back to where you bought they along with the medallion and see if they will do them for you. NOt an easy job!
- Q: My grandpa‘s bathroom needs to have a few adjustments made to it, namely safety bars put in place around the tub to help him in and out. The problem: every wall is covered in glazed tile (which I know makes a difference) and the bars need to be screwed in.My question is this: how? I know that using just a drill bit will shatter the tile, even a carbide one because the tile‘s glazed. Thanks much, kisses and ten points to the best answer.
- Put masking tape over the spot you want to drill. Drill through the tape and into the tile. This is supposed to help prevent chipping and cracking of the tile.
- Q: i wanted to make a moseque out of ordiniary household tiles i have left over from small jobs around the house. can this be done and is it safe?
- Better to use an out side rated tile such as a frost proof tile. But if you live in a warmer climate ( non freezing) you can. In a path way the tiles do need to be rated for foot traffic. This so you don t get sued in a slip and fall.. Rain will not harm tiles at all .. Well maybe acid rain after years and years of exposure.Rain would only effect the bonding material if you use any thing other than a thin set. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
- Q: How would one grout mosaic tiles on standing mirror?
- Grout application on a mirror is exactly the same process as grouting a tile floor, back-splash, counter top, or table. Since the mirror is standing, I'd be sure that the mirror won't topple over when applying the grout because it has to be floated into the crevices between the tiles / tile pieces. If possible I'd suggest laying the mirror flat, either on the floor or on a sturdy worktable A grout float is basically a block shaped pushing tool used to force the grout between the tiles. Hold the float at an angle against the tiled surface and use a firm sweeping motion across the tile to push/force the grout into all the nooks, crannies, cracks and openings between the tiles. You'll have to work fairly quickly because grout becomes hard to work once it starts drying out. Work in a diagonal pattern and go back over any low or missed areas. Allow the grout to sit for 20-30 minutes. You'll know the grout is starting to cure when there is a light haze on the tile surface. Using a sponge and a bucket of clean water lightly buff the tile to remove the haze. This step may have to be repeated once or twice to be sure that all of the excess grout has been removed from the tile surface. If you want to seal the grout and tile, there are a number of sealant products available but you'll need to wait 3 or 4 days before applying in order to allow the grout to cure properly.
- Q: She worked at a steady rate after the first day.Use an equation in point-slope form to determine how many days Lizzy took to place all of the 100 tiled needed to finish the floor,
- She laid 5 tiles the first day, and 10 tiles each day thereafter: x = number of days Lizzy has worked laying tiles Total Tiles = 5 + 10(x-1)] Test this equation with the information you are given: 35 = 5 + 10(4 - 1) = 5 + 10(3) = 5 + 30 = 35 <<<<< TRUE So, now you can solve the problem. However, it is unclear to me whether Lizzy needs to lay 100 MORE tiles, or 100 tiles, total.... 100 = 5 + 10(x - 1) 100 = 5 + 10x - 10 100 - 5 + 10 = 10x 105 = 10x 10.5 = x It takes Lizzy 10.5 days to lay 100 tiles. 135 = 5 + 10(x - 1) 135 = 5 + 10x - 10 135 - 5 + 10 = 10x 140 = 10x 14 = x It takes Lizzy 14 days to lay 135 tiles.
- Q: New handyman project involves putting ceramic tile on bathroom walls. Never tried this before. Any tips or suggestions? What about a web site with do it yourself directions?
- I agree with fearjar. You could tile over tile, but its best to do it right and go back to a solid, clean base that is free of mold and other defects. This gives you a chance to inspect the plumbing (which according to Murphy's law will burst if you don't check it) and will make for a more even installation.
- Q: I have several boxes of wall tile and I would like to use some on a floor. Is this okay? What is the difference?
- No because when wall tile gets wet it gets very slipery. You would be creating an ice scating rink.
