Structure of Butimen Coated Fiberglass Geogrid

Butimen Coated Fiberglass Geogrid is  excellent composite material used for road bed reinforcement and soft soil foundation improvement. It has become an indispensable material in treatment of reflection cracks on asphalt road surface. The products are semi-rigid mesh base made from high-strength alkaline-free glass fiber through international advanced process and subjected to surface coating. It has a high tensile strength and a lower elongation both vertically and horizontally. Moreover, it has good resistance to high and low temperature, aging and corrosion. It is widely used in Asphalt wall, railway foundation, dike slope, runway and sand harnessing.

FAQ

We have organized several common questions for our clients, may help you sincerely:

Q: How about your company?

A:Our company are one of the largest geosynthetic products supplier in the world. We have the products experience more than 20 years.Already export to USA/Germeny/Australia/Zambia/Brazil etc.more than 20 countries.Almost 10years.Our products including Geocell/Fiberglass Geogrid/Geomembrane/Geotextile/Geonet etc.

Q.Does your products have good qualitity?

A:Yes,we have do many big projects such as the 2008 Beijing Olympic BIRD NEST. Divert water from the south to the north project. And our products have CE certificate also.

Q:How long can we receive the products after purchase?

A:In the purchase of product within three working days, We will arrange the factory delivery as soon as possible. The pecific time of receiving is related to the state and position of customers.Commonly 15-20 working days can be delivery.

Q: Can geogrids be used in soil stabilization for recreational areas?
Yes, geogrids can be used in soil stabilization for recreational areas. Geogrids are often used to reinforce and stabilize soil, preventing erosion and improving the load-bearing capacity of the ground. This makes them particularly suitable for recreational areas such as sports fields, playgrounds, or park trails where heavy foot traffic or vehicular loads are expected. By installing geogrids, the stability and durability of the soil can be significantly improved, ensuring a safe and long-lasting recreational space.
Q: Can geogrids be used in mining haul roads?
Yes, geogrids can be used in mining haul roads. Geogrids are commonly used in mining haul roads to provide reinforcement and stabilization to the road structure, especially in areas with poor soil conditions or heavy traffic. Geogrids help to distribute the load more evenly, prevent soil erosion, and increase the overall strength and durability of the road, making them a valuable solution for mining haul roads.
Q: Can geogrids be used in gabion wall construction?
Yes, geogrids can be used in gabion wall construction. Geogrids are commonly used as reinforcement materials in gabion walls to enhance their stability and strength. They help distribute the load from the wall evenly, preventing bulging or deformation. Additionally, geogrids can also improve the overall performance of gabion walls by reducing settlement and increasing the resistance to external forces such as earthquakes or water pressure.
Q: Can geogrids be used in green wall systems?
Yes, geogrids can be used in green wall systems. Geogrids provide structural support and reinforcement to the soil, allowing for the vertical growth of plants on the green wall. They help prevent soil erosion and improve stability, making them a suitable choice for green wall construction.
Q: What are the design guidelines for geogrid-reinforced retaining walls?
The design guidelines for geogrid-reinforced retaining walls include factors such as the type and strength of the geogrid, wall height, soil properties, and loading conditions. The design should ensure proper connection between the geogrid and the wall structure, adequate embedment of the geogrid in the soil, and appropriate spacing and orientation of the geogrid layers. Additionally, the guidelines may cover construction techniques, stability analysis, and considerations for drainage and backfill materials.
Q: How do geogrids enhance the stability of landfill slopes?
Geogrids enhance the stability of landfill slopes by providing reinforcement and increasing the strength of the soil. They are placed within the soil layers of the slope to distribute the applied loads and prevent excessive deformation. The geogrids act as a tension element, spreading the load across a wider area and reducing the risk of slope failure. Additionally, they improve the overall stability of the landfill slopes by controlling soil erosion, promoting drainage, and minimizing the potential for lateral movement.
Q: Which is better than geotextile and geogrid
The strength of the geogrid is much larger than that of geotextile, but the effect of geotextile on the road to prevent reflection crack is obviously stronger than that of Geogrid
Q: Are geogrids resistant to hydrocarbons?
Yes, geogrids are generally resistant to hydrocarbons.
Q: Can geogrids be used in mechanically stabilized earth walls?
Yes, geogrids can be used in mechanically stabilized earth walls. Geogrids are commonly used as reinforcement materials in retaining walls and slopes to enhance stability and prevent soil erosion. They are designed to distribute loads and provide additional strength to the structure, making them suitable for use in mechanically stabilized earth walls.
Q: Are geogrids suitable for use in landfill liners?
Yes, geogrids are suitable for use in landfill liners. Geogrids are commonly used in landfill liner systems to enhance stability and prevent lateral soil movement. They provide reinforcement, improve drainage, and increase the overall performance and longevity of the landfill liner.
