- Q: i dont know any virtual home planner.
- Not sure what kind of plans you are making but Google Sketch Up is free. You have to download it. The problem I have had is that it's not as user-friendly as it could be. If you watch the tutorials, it will help. There are ways to actually put dimensions in. You can print out your plans to look like blueprints, sketches, etc. The greatest thing about it is that as you design it, you can walk around in your room, home, backyard, etc. Good luck!
- Q: Which magazine do you regularly read? Which one do you trust? Sometimes I look at the article and keep wondering if people really buy the products they are trying to promote. So please tell me the magazine/journals you find useful in this respect. Thanks
- i like family circle, ladies home journal, good housekeeping and martha stewart. lots of good ideas. remember, all magazines rely mostly on their advertisers for revenue, not subsriptions. take what you like and leave the rest. and by all means, if you're not happy with a purchase for any reason, return it, insisting on a full refund. if they want your business again in the future, they'll also send you an apology and sometimes even a coupon for future use.
- Q: What does Home & Garden think of Heavy Metal?
- This is a odd question but my home enjoys some Pantera and the plants like Savage garden and Cradle of filth
- Q: I had an old, old version of the Better Homes and Gardens white and red checkered cookbook. I used to make an old Corn Chowder Recipe. Any one have it? or know where to get it? We're talking 50's or 60's. I can recall some of the ingredients: Brown Onions and bacon, add cubed potatoes and water. Corn, milk, bay leaf, can't remember anything else. I adapted it by putting in pieces of cooked chicken breast meat and tomato paste. Any one????

- Q: can i buy water lettuce at home depot store or a garden store?
- I am nt familiar with what water lettuce is, but looking at the other answers..our home depot here sells aquatic plants..some mentioned they do not...The one here (Panama City,Florida) has one of the fish ponds that they sell in the store set up displaying the optional water pond features you can buy( cranes, frogs etc spitting water) and they have aquatic plants for sell in the functioning pond..I would guess they are all different in alot of aspects..so call your local home depot and ask them would be my suggestion..
- Q: Some A$$H0LE applied pesticides to my entire home garden, and left a pesticides application sign. I want to know if the vegetables I grew are still safe to eat after I clean it.
- Actually if what you mean by cleaning is soaping and rinsing it, PERHAPS it may be safe to eat it. But precaution is safer by delaying harvesting your vegetables. Most pesticides usually loss effects after a week. After this period, you can harvest your veggies for consumption. Be sure to wash it very well before using.
- Q: I have an aquarium habitatat so tubes are not good. Thanks!
- I use vegetable oil on the hinges, it makes it quieter and is safe if they lick it
