- Q:Alright, so earlier this year I bought a set of photography lighting right.. And they are great. But you know how photography lights light kinda white-ish and normal lights (in my opinion) light orangey-ish???? Please tell me you get what I mean.. Because I have these lights I bought at Walmart but they don't light white.. They light orange. Why is that?? Is it the watts? The brightness? Please help
- You can get just about any shade you want out of lights... either by changing bulbs or adding filters (called gels) to the light. walmart is not a real photo store... you probably have incandescent bulbs in the wally world set. If you put the same bulbs in all your lights, you won't have this problem. Mixed light sources (such as florescent mixed with incandescent) are the worst way to do things, and the hardest to fix. By using the same bulbs in all your lights, you can set your camera white balance and forget it.
- Q:I have a 1998 Chevy Prizm. The dashboard lights and the back tail lights are not working (at night). Is this a cause from a blown fuse or what?I did recently install a stereo, but made sure that the ground wire was grounded and that all the unused wires were capped and taped off (electrical tape). I also had a Viper 350 Plus alarm installed on it by a audio/alarm shop... could there be a problem here?Both the alarm system and the stereo system work completely fine.

- No, in case you like an incandescent you like an incandescent. Compact fluorescents are oftentimes spiral wound glass and have a power supply interior the backside. that's many times particularly glaring. some incandescents would be marked power saving because of the fact they're 80W instead of 100W. those are nice.

- Many wrong answers were provided to this question. 1.) Light is *not* matter, and does *not* have mass. 2.) Light is not measured as matter by any experiment I am aware of. The particle or quantum of light is a photon, which has no mass and is not part of the makeup of matter. The dual nature of light is that it can behave like a wave or a particle, not like matter and energy. 3.) Gravity affects both matter and light. All moving particle will follow curved paths near high-mass objects, as we have proven by measuring light of stars passing near the sun. We use this effect, called gravitational lensing, at very long distances to image objects beyond galaxies and galactic clusters. 4.) A black hole does not suck things in, it just has a very strong gravitational attraction. - Hey Jessica. Goldfish do need light. It varies on how much they need. Don't turn on the light, keep that off to save power. Place to tank or bowl near a window to let some light on it. But be careful if it's really hot where you are, you don't want to heat the water up. If a goldfish is in darkness for more than 24 hours they turn white. Also, a goldfish only have the memory of 10 seconds. :) few facts lol.

- There are a several possible answers to this: 1. White is the same color as black but brighter so if there are two light sources the dimmer one could be considered black. This is a stretch though. 2. White is a mixture of all light so black is the absense of any light. Any light that is turned off is black. 3. Light that you can't see (such as infrared or ultraviolet) will look black. As someone else said, an ultraviolet light is referred to as a black light for this reason. 4.
