Q: I have a Acer Aspire 3000 labtop. Everytime I remove my battery pack, the mouse, keyboard, USB port, etc. works without freezing (like factory setting). Whenever the battery pack is put back in, the mouse, keyboard, USB port, etc. freezes up and I cant shut down the computer or work the touch pad. I did a full factory recovery on it, put the battery pack in, and it STILL freezes up. Theres nothing wrong with the computer its self, its just the battery pack. Whats wrong with my battery pack? Why is my computer rejecting it?
It could be that possibly the battery was mishandled during shipping. Call the company that manufactured your laptop to send you a new one.
Q: I Attach the battery to the back of the DVD player, I plug the cord into the batteries charger port but the lit does not turn on. When I unplug it the next day. IT still is not even charged. Does anyone knowwat is wrong with it. Just an answer please, not people telling me to buy a new portable DVD player.
How old is the battery pack? If it is a year old (of fairly continual use), then it is shot. Rechargeable battery packs don't last forever. If the pack is new, then the charging circuit inside the DVD player is shot. There is one possibility, that the connection points from the battery to the player are oxidized. If you can get to the little metal points that make the connections from the battery pack to the player (on both the battery pack and the player); take a pencil eraser and rub the metal to shine it up. That might help. If not, the charging circuit is shot. Sorry. .
Q: I bought a 2nd hand camera and its a Cannon sd1100 isDo u know what this means i have charged it???
Cuz u need a nue camera and insert a battery pack
Q: Electric car battery pack is 12V good or with 16V?
If directly from the price point of view, 12V more advantages.
Q: I am finally going to upgrade to a digital SLR soon and am trying to figure out how long these $250 power battery packs (that clip on to the bottom of the camera) last compared to a small $30-$60 battery. While there are reviews, this is the most important aspect of the item I cannot find. How long does this last and how much better is it than 1 or even 2 extra batteries?
forget photograph voltaic charging on a similar time as backpacking. even a 5W panel that's 12 through 24 will take over a million/2 the day to do the charging. except you want to sit down down all day and might charge, greater suitable batts are a thank you to bypass.
Q: I Just bought a 3600 MhA Ni-MH Recheargable Battery Pack for the XBOX 3601. Is it safe to use it even if it's not an Original Microsoft Product ?2. Can I Play in the same time that the battery is Charging ?
What is the brand? 1) Any product that is not a first party product (i.e. made by Microsoft) will have an inherent risk factor. However, in terms of a rechargeable battery pack, the only thing you will really have to worry about is the battery melting or exploding from overheating. Explosion is highly unlikely, but battery corrosion and melting can possibly occur. This can happen to ANY battery pack, not just third party ones. So in short, the risk is very low. 2) No, you cannot. The Battery Pack for an XBox 360 controller must be fully inserted into the controller itself. Most if not all rechargeable battery packs have to charge on a base unit that CANNOT be plugged into the controller at the same time. Keep in mind: Rechargeable battery packs degrade with use. You will have a great charge time to start, but as you continue to use your rechargeable battery packs, the amount of play time you will get out of them will diminish. As a personal example, I have the Microsoft brand rechargeable pack, and I now only get about 2.5 hours of play time out of them from about 6 hours when I originally bought them. This is why I have 2 packsI swap them out as I go so I never have to waste batteries! Hope this helps.
Q: I bought a battery pack for a Game Gear (old sega handheld system) and it came with two parts the wall adapter and the battery pack that it connects to charge it and the charge light won't come on and it was practically new this item was something that was sold years ago is there something wrong with it or do I need to replace the battery part inside if so how do I do that??
Check the power outlet first, if it is working or not. Then the charger. If it don't light, it is the charger.
Q: I want to buy a battery grip for my Canon XTi and my choices are the Opteka or Canon brand. The Canon brand is almost twice as much though, so I was wondering if I could just get by with the Opteka.
When it was introduced the Opteka/Targus/OKorder battery grip (BG) was supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread. It was infact a few gm lighter than the OEM BG. But some folks have had problems with this BG (but the same can be said for the OEM BG too). There are several threads on this issue on P.O.T.N Use the link below and search for 'Grip'. Or if you feel like registering you can use their internal search function and search more specifically.
Q: i lost the charger for my battery pack for my camera. i was wondering if it was possible to charge the battery by plugging my camera into my computer? anything helps, thanks!
in many circumstances, a single cellular could degree a million.2 volts. possibly your 'cellular' is nicely produced from 3 single cells. Getting heat could be a undesirable factor, as warmth can shorten battery existence. in case you have a volt meter. degree your 'cells' one after the other, and could incredibly be charged one after the other besides to insure a appropriate can charge. that's what i could do.
Q: I just bought a Porter cable 18v Ni-cad powered cordless tool set. Now I noticed that the battery pack on the lithium ion powered set, is identical to the Ni-cad battery pack. My question is, can I use a Li-ion battery pack in my Ni-cad tools, or will it ruin them?
If you can stop a 300 ft pound impact wrench it isn't worth owning unless there is a torque setting and you have it on the weakest setting. Regarding the batteries, tools are usually one or the other meaning that if it comes with NiCad or Li Ion there is no switching to the other or why would they produce two batts for the same device. If you HAVE a choice Li ion batts are very light in weight by comparison to 18V NiCads are. I have two cordless drills I use/used. One is an 18 volt DeWalt with NiCad and the other is Rigid with Li Ion, they are both the same relative age ( maybe 6 months between the two) . My DeWalt is still going strong 8 years later, but the Rigid with compact Li Ion batts are BOTH dead and gone: no recharging will kick them over. I called customer service to see if I could find out whether it was the charger or the batts. They weren't any help so I got another charger and the batts came up as defective. At $100 each I am in no hurry to replace them because the DeWalt is still going strong. So I am convinced Li Ion is one I personally will avoid going forward.
