Q: A few weeks ago I bought a new 3DS in a bundle from Walmart, with it I recieved a Nyko battery pack and charge base for extended battery life. The first time I attached my 3DS to the charge base it worked perfectly, but I tried to charge it again last night and this morning it's still on low battery. When I put the 3DS on the charger, the red light lit up, indicating that it was charging. This morning the same light had turned green which means it is completely charged. I took it off the charger and started it up to find the battery just as low as before and when I put it back on the charger, the lights still indicate that it is fully charged. What is going on here?: Nyko has stated that their products are not fully compatible with those of Nintendo--i.e. the charging cradle. Try fully charging your 3DS by unplugging the plastic cradle, and charging the unit directly from the cable. If that doesn't work, there may be an issue with your battery or power supply.

Different batteries have different voltages (difference of potential between the + and - terminals) and Amp-hour (total potential hours of operation at one Amp of current) ratings. If you need a power source that isn't currently available for sale, try stringing together many of the same type of battery (same voltage and Amp-hour rating), connected in series. If this is a store-bought robot, I have to assume it came with a battery pack, probably a series of rechargeable AAs in a heat-shrunk package. If you made the robot yourself, you need to know the required voltages for each of its subcomponents and may have to have multiple power supplies. Or just find the nearest Radio Shack.

I have a toy Lamborghini Gallardo car, and it has a 7.2V Rechargable Ni-Cd battery pack. what i want to do it add an extra AA battery do hopefully give it more power. what i need to know is, what connects the all the batteries with the wire that you plug in to the other wire that connects to the car and the battery charger? whats on the batteries that conducts the electric charge to all 6 AA batteries?: take two battery packs hook the 1 red wire from one and one black wire from the other together, Then hook the left over wires to the car like normal. (you will have to cut and splice some wires. this will give you twice the power.

Q: I am building a small toy boat from basically nothing and was wondering if the 9.6 volt battery pack would damage the 3 volt DC motor used to propel it. The motor doesn't seem to get hot or sound bad when it's running. Will it hurt the motor at all, even if not running for very long periods of time? Thanks in advance to everyone helping!: It might hurt it. The rpm is running 3 times the normal rpm. It would be best to measure the amps used with a voltage meter running on 3 volts. Then use a resistor of the correct size to make the amps with a 9. volt battery pack. If you dont know what ohm search for ohms calculator put in 9.6 volt and the amps you measured from the 3 volt. It will calculate the ohms for you. You can find resistors are radio shack get a larger one rated formore than twice the wattage used (wattsamps x volts)
