Storage:

1. Use at temperature below 40°C,charge fully prior to long storage periods or if it has been stored for more than three months

2. If you find any single battery voltage is under 2V at room temperature,the battery has been over-discharged or is self-discharging due to some defect/parasitic load. Discontinue use until the fault can be corrected and the battery be recharged

Q: I lost a charger that has a output voltage of 8.4v Can I use a charger that has output voltage of 9v to charge it or will it not charge properly?? FYI, its to charge a battery pack for a portable LED light system.: Probably. It partly depends on the type of battery inside and whether there is regulation in the light or it just allowed the voltage to drift up to 8.4v - if it can drift further, the battery might be damaged.

Q: i bought the limited edition red controller that came with the play and charge kit thing mid to late last year. recently my 360 red ringed :( but i got it back a few weeks ago, but since i couldn't play it my battery pack just died inside of it (i thnk i only had 2 cells left in it). but i have been playing with it plugged in to the 360 like i did when i would charge it. everything else works fine, but i don't know if maybe a few months from now if i should buy a new battery pack, switch to using real batteries, or just keep doing what i've been doing for the last couple of weeks.: And thats why i do not like wireless controller, they eat a lot of batteries A wired controller is the way to go!

Q: If you get on OKorder and look up Task Force 12v battery packs, people are selling those 10-20 times CHEAPER than the Dewalts etc. Look, all of these have the same 'c' size Ni-Cad batteries in them. You simply take the case apart and remove the array of batteries. Then you can take a low wattage soldering iron and some solder (flux core is easier to get to stick). Just use nyour basic common sense to immitate the configuration of the pack you want to replace. Another trick I came up with was to take a vacuum cleaner hose repair- heat shrink tubbing wrap ( Hesco inc. dot com) and put enough batteries in it to equal 9.6 volts and carefully attached a Male (-) / Female (+) connection plug. Now on my Dewalt battery charger I put the correspondingly opposite Male (+) / Female (-) plug. Then on the back of my 9.6 volt Dewalt drill I put a smaller vacuum cleaner belt looped where the normal ( and expensive) OEM battery would plug in. This loop of strong rubber is what holds the battery.: All good information but there is really no question here.
