- Q: i have a NiCd 9.6v 400mah battery pack (8 1.2v 400mah cells) and a 250 mah charger. what should be the initial and regular charging times?i was told the first charge should be 7 or 8 hoursregular charging should be 1hr 40 mins.
- the rate is normally 1/C - the inverse of the current capacity. 1 hour only if you have a Smart Charger and it can sense the heat generated by charging the battery. I recharge my 9.6v/4000mAh pack in 15 minutes, but I have a battery that is MADE for hot charges and my charger is made to push that much current into the battery.
- Q: Hi all,Trying to mod my controller to recharge regular rechargeable batteries instead of the rechargeable packs, since I have a plug and play wire but no packs and a lot of rechargeable batteries. Since I don't have a pack, I don't know what the difference is between the rechargeable pack and the regular battery pack. So, how does the 360 know when it has a rechargeable pack and a battery pack? Thanks, -Jack
- The rechargeable pack just comes with the cable, the battery pack alone doesn't have the cable, i suggest just to charge up your battery's with a standard battery charger and use them instead, lasts a lot longer imo.
- Q: I took out the extra battery pack and tried working it with the battery slot inside it. I've fully charged the battery but the camera just won't turn on anymore! Is there something I'm doing wrong? Please Help !
- Your description doesn't quite make sense. You camera only has one battery slot, the only way you can use an extra battery pack at the same time is with a battery grip. Are you you using a BG-E5 battery grip? If so, are you saying you removed the grip, put a charged battery in the camera and it does not work? Does it work if you put the grip back on the camera? Have you tried contacting Canon at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666)?
- Q: I put my Cannon BP-808 battery on my cannon vixia hf11 HD camcorder, plug in my factory given charger to the camera, and charge it. It flashes as if its charging but when I turn it on, it's completely dead. I also have charged it on a seperate cannon hf11, and used three different chargers, so its not the camera or the chargers. I also have cannon BP-827 battery pack(extentended life $200-300 battery) and it does the same thing, so its not the battery pack. I can't find anything to help me on the internethelp?
- If it's not the battery pack, make sure the charger is not causing any problems, I would check and clean all the metal connection, and those small copper sides of the charger where the battery connects to.Do the same for the battery holder in your camera and and clean that spot all the way. If it's not the battery pack nor the charger, there got to be something wrong with the camera itself. Take it to geek squad in best buy or call the manufacturer warranty service if it's still under warranty cover. Hope it helps!
- Q: I need to know what I need to get. Thanks
- There are a few choices. You can get the Play and Charge kit that comes with a battery pack and a charging cable for $20 so you can charge the pack while you play. There's the Quick Charge which comes with 2 packs and a charge stand that plugs into a wall socket. This is good if you use more than one controller at a time. Also, there's the Nyko charging base which charges the packs while they're in the controllers. You can also buy extra packs at any store that sells 360 stuff (Walmart, Gamestop, etc.). I like the Play and Charge because it's cheap and dependable.
- Q: I would like to buy a batter pack for my Nikon D50 which also has the vertical grip and shutter release. Does anyone know of anyone who makes one? If so, have you tried it, and do you like it? Also, where could I find them, and how expensive are they?
- ok, there is no battery grip for a D50 (as long as your refering to the extra perice that supply vertical shuter launch and double battery capability like the BGD200 for the D200). Nikon would not make one for the D50
- Q: I recently purchased a rechargeable battery pack. It was manufactured two years back. Will this have any effect on its performance or recharge cycle? Thanks
- I'm still using packs of rechargeable batteries that are over 5 years old It's more important that you know how to look after them when you start to use themdon't let them lie around without charging them or they will dieI use rechargeables in all my audio devices and my photography and video equipment and check them all regularly to make sure they haven't discharged - it's a nuisance sometimeswell worth it though.
- Q: battery pack
- You could go back to the store where you bought the item and ask them for a replacement. Look very carefully at any embossed wording on the item, or a tag that is fixed to it, and try to find the company that made the item. If you can find an address for the company, send a letter to their customer help office to get the information that you need. If this battery is not removable, then the item will have to be disassembled to replace it. If it is easily removed, take it out and take it to a store that sells batteries to match it with a new one.
- Q: How do rechargeable batteries work? I need to write a paragraph on them, so it can be brief information I've searched google and couldn't find much
- well, when the battery is deadyou plug in the charger and put the batteries in and the electricity goes from the outlet to the batteries and can be re-used. Oh yes and the battery must be rechargeable in the first place.
- Q: One of the battery pack to die, and a piece of it?
- One of the batteries in parallel, this battery output capacity is twice as large, but other batteries can not output the same current, so no use.
