Q: im about to purchase an xbox 360if i get the premium does it come with rechargeable batteries?if it does not can i purchase a rechargeable battery pack and use them on this controller or does it have to be a special controller to use the rechargeable battery pack?is there a separate charger to charge these batteries?if so how much will all this cost me?any help is much appreciated and thank you for your time.
The premium comes with 2 non-rechargeable Energizer AA batteries. You can use rechargeable batteries or you can get the play and charge rechargeable battery pack. The battery pack costs 12 bucks (Gamestop) and 15 bucks (Best Buy), while the charge and play kit (which includes the battery pack) costs 20 bucks. If you don't like the play and charge kit, there's the charger stand kit. You stand your battery pack on the charge, and it charges your batteries. The play and charge kit hooks your controller to a USB port (whether it's on the 360, PC, etc) and charges your battery pack while the batteries are inside the controller. Only the Halo 3 edition comes with the play and charge kit.
Q: I want to buy an external battery pack for my iPhone 4 and I see that there are many different levels to choose from. I see packs with 1000mAh, 1800mAh, 1900mAh and so on up to 5000+mAh. My question is what difference does the mAh make in a battery pack? Is it the amount of charge it gives the phone? Is it the length of time it takes to charge? I want to be more educated before I make a purchase.
mAh stands for milli-Amp hours it is the capacity of the battery. A 1000mAh battery will provide 1000milliAmps for one hour. The larger the battery capacity, the longer the battery will last.
Q: I was thinking of buying a rechargable battery for my controller cuz my regular batteries die fast. So i was wondering if they work. Should i buy rechargable pack or should i just stick with the regular 2 AA batteries???
yes they work buy the rechargable controller battery pack
Q: I have 3 Phottix battery pack for my 3 Canon Speedlite 600ex-rt and I am wondering about getting a full charge out of them. When I am charging them up after a while the red light will turn green showing that they are done charging, but if I unplug them for a second or two and plug them back it the light will be red again for another 10 minutes or so. Is this helping it get more of a charge or not? Thanks
No it is best to charge until the light changes green and leave it at that. Many rechargeable have memories and the frequent charging cuts done on the entire life of the battery. It is best to use that age old rule regarding batteries--------READ THE MANUAL.
Q: Hi, i have a 48 led IR illuminator that is powered by a DC12V 500mA mains adaptor. Can i run off a battery pack containing 8 AA 2900 mAh batteries? Will this work or will i need to add in some sort of resistance so the leds don't burn out?
12 volts is 12 volts. It doesn't matter where you get it from as long as you can pull enough current from the supply. Any AA will put out 500ma easy. But you didn't say what type of AA batteries you're using. AA batteries can be anywhere from 1.2 volts to 3 volts each. If you have 2900mah batteries, they're probably 1.2 volt ni-mh, which would only give you 9.6 volts. You'd need 10 of those to have 12 volts.
Q: I want to put 4 AA NiCad or NimH batteries in a holder (Radio Shack 270-383) and connect two set of positive and negative leads. One to a DC Power Jack (Radio Shack 274-1565) for when the battery pack needs to be recharged and the other to a DC Power Plug (Radio Shack 274-1567) for when I want to use their power. Will this work?
Rub them together real fast. Pos-Neg. It'll give you another 1/2 hour or so.
Q: hey, my xbox 360 batteries in the battery pack dont last long at all. i use duracell batteries an i go through a 20 pack too fast. im going to get a charger that plugs into the top of my controller soon, but im worried if it will charge my duracell batteries or not? if not, what batteries do, an if you dont know can yieu suggest the batterys you use an recharge using the cord charger. thanks
It will be very helpful to get the cord. I use the cord on my controller and I don't use a battery at all. The cord won't recharge the batteries unless they're rechargeable batteries (I believe) but as long as you have the cord you wont need the batteries at all. Hope this helps.
Q: does battery world repack batteries? if they do, how much does it cost?
some Anton Bauer battery packs are made with individual cells ( D size) internally. they can be re-celled (not repacked) yourself or by a technician. i used to do this at various television stations i worked at. i am not aware of any other type battery pack that is can be done with. it would cost about 1/4th the price of a new pack.
Q: UPS battery pack maintenance time calculation?
Seek input 7.5KW, the battery output current. 16 series in series for the 192 volts, two groups in parallel for the 200ah, then the input DC current is: I = P ÷ V = 7.5 (KW) ÷ 192 (V) = 0.0390625 (thousand) = 39.0625A
Q: Hi there is this battery pack thing that you charge then you can unplug it and take it with you and charge stuff with it without it being pluged in it can charge ipods phones etc by pluging ther plugs into it please help or if you have anything kind of like this please let me now and where i can get it or info on the above thanks
