- Q: What is the meaning of the 7S4P combination of power battery packs?
- 4 and: --------- means that the string is good 7 batteries and together, (that is, the four strings of good 7 batteries were positive together, the negative together. 4 sections of capacity added).
- Q: I have a NIMH battery pack that is a 4.8v 1600mah. I want to replace the cells but can't find any 400mah replacement cells. Can I safely upgrade the cells to say 900mah per cell for a total of 3600mah without harming anything. The volts will be the same, just not sure how high I can go. I'm assuming all I'll have to deal with is longer charging times and that the mah difference wont matter on anything else. Am i right?
- As long as they fit, you can safely use new identical NiMH cells of higher capacity when rebuilding your pack. Don't use cells with a different chemistry, or mix new and old, or your charger may not be able to charge them correctly. You have correctly assumed that your charging and runtimes will be correspondingly longer. Chances are your original cells had 1600 mAH capacity each. 4 of them in series would make a 4.8 volt pack. The mAH stays the same in that case. Don
- Q: I have a battery pack with an input: D.C. 5V, 2 Amps. I have a tablet-charger with an output: 5.1V, 2.1 A. Can that little difference in Volts and Ampere cause harm to the battery over time? should I look for a 5V/2A charger, or can I use the one I have?Detailed info about the battery and charger:Battery:3.7 V 10 000 mAh/37.0 WhInput: D.C. 5V, 2Aoutput: D.C. 5V, 2.1A + 1 A (two outputs) Charger:input: 100-240V - 0.45A, 50-60Hzoutput: 5.1V, 2.1A
- If the battery pack is lithium-ion, it MUST be charged according to the manufacturer's recommendations to minimize the danger of fire. This requires circuitry that shuts off the charge current if the battery reaches an unsafe temperature, and it MUST terminate charging immediately when the battery is fully charged. If it is NiCd or NiMH, charge it at 0.1 c (10% of its Ah rating) for 14 to 18 hours.
- Q: Uninterrupted power ups to reprovision the battery pack?
- Plus the battery pack is to let the computer power off after running longer.
- Q: I have an old remote control air plane rechargeable battery I want to use for something else. The problem is I need it 9.6V and the two packs of 5 cells is 6V each. I want to combine the two 6V into an 8 cell 9.6V but I can't seem to split them apart. Currently I'm discharging them through the old airplane motor that they came with. First off, should I be messing with them. If so, is running them through a motor a good way to discharge them, and finally how should I go about separating them so I can recombine them?
- Those 6V battery pack was packed with hard glue and welded joints. Separating them is not an easy task as you though without any proper tool. Besides, most old old rechargeable battery pack 50% inside the cells were dried out or leakage or shorted due to aging. Not much chance to rebuild them into a workable 9.6V pack.
- Q: I would like to run this motor intermittently using a portable drill-type rechargeable battery pack, maybe lithium-ion. How long could I expect it to function with say a 30 percent on/70 percent off duty cycle before it drains the battery?
- all of us else advised you regarding the motor, and that they are quite often good different than that maybe they are exaggerating slightly approximately what's going to ensue (e.g., circulate up in smoke, soften). yet be conscious! The wires you employ can circulate up in smoke or soften in the event that they are not heavy adequate (do no longer question me how i understand!). on the different hand, i think of they are deceptive you approximately your image voltaic panel. there isn't any such factor as a 12V panel. in the experience that your panel is labelled 12V, that in simple terms approximately easily skill that it replaced into designed for charging a 12V battery. I even have a 5W 12V panel that i offered to test with. In complete sunlight, this is open circuit voltage is 25V. when I hook it as much as a battery, regardless of the incontrovertible fact that, its output voltage is on the instant compelled to despite the voltage of the battery replaced into on the time. If the battery voltage replaced into low, and that i circulate away it interior the sunlight all day, that voltage will (ever so slowly) upward push. in case you do no longer use a charge controller, then it quite is quite useful to observe it, and disconnect the battery from the panel whilst the voltage gets up over 14V. a solid rule of thumb for lead-acid batteries, B.T.W.: in case you pick for them to final, then do no longer charge or discharge the battery in something under 10 hours. it quite is to assert, in the experience that your battery is labelled 12Ah, then you quite quite oughten't to entice from now on than a million.2A from it, or charge it at extra desirable than a million.2A.
- Q: How does UPS and battery pack fit?
- C3KS must be connected to eight batteries, C6KS must be connected to 20 batteries.
- Q: Hello: I have a mini phantom emergency-responder blue light that plugs into a car's cigarette lighter. Given how bright this light it, I would like to use it on the rear of my bicycle to make myself more visible when riding at night. To do this, I will need to hook it up to a rechargeable battery pack. Any idea how to do this??
- Buy a 12V outlet that comes with a cord. Connect it to the battery pack and plug the light into it.
- Q: Basically, i just purchased a Fusion Power Plant 1200watt with 500 RCM watt bass pack. But before i fit it and everything i'd like to know if it'll drain my battery. Over the past year i've had to recharge the battery a couple of times if i use it when the engine isn't running, so if the bass pack will drain my battery i'll buy a new one before i install it!thanks!
- yes it will drain the battery if u run it when the engine is off because the power cable is hooked to tha battery and that is all it runs off of. the same happened to me because the alternator isnt recharging the battery when the engine is off.
- Q: as far as dimensions go, is the 12 cell battery bigger than the 6 cell or does size not matter? What is the difference- 12 cell last longer when charged up? thxI plan on buying one for my Sony laptop (PCG-3B4L) and want to make sure it fits. DC 19.5 V, 11.1 v 4400mAhBattery-VGP-BPS13/S
- Don't buy batteries unless its specifically made for your laptop model. Go to a sony showroom first and check. That way once its confirmed then only think about buying. Unless its a reputable generic brand they will be using low quality elements which will not hold its charge as well as premium batteries. 12 cell batteries last much longer then 6 cell. But it won't be 2x longer but maybe 1.5. Yes size matters.
