- Q: Just ironed my favorite black coat and it left a slight shine on it. The coat is made of 97% cotton and 3% polyester and the fabric has a shiny texture. Would washing the coat again get rid of the iron shine?
- Maybe. Depends on how deep the burns are. You'll know after you wash it

- Since you're messy, your best bet will be the polyester. Poly washes up nicely usually needs no ironing. Cotton will wrinkle, shrink, stains are harder to get out.

- good for you - I'm trying to do the same and here are some things that I've done. it has happened over months, so that I don't disrupt our routines too much all at once. The other day someone asked me how I had time to do that, and since I've done one step at a time, I really haven't noticed it being a burden. Try to get rid of plastic in your life. I buy in bulk and put food in mason jars, brown sugar, pasta, nuts, raisins, rice. The less packaging you buy the better. Store food in glass containers, not plastic containers. You can get glass storage containers (plastic lids) at Sears. use paper bags for your garbage. It doesn't help to put items that can decompose in a plastic bag that cannot decompose in the landfill. use fewer chemicals for gardening and cleaning. check out cleaning solutions using vinegar and baking soda instead of store-bought cleaners. check out brands like Bright Green for toilet paper and paper towels. Use oxygen bleach instead of chlorine bleach. freeze in wax paper and freezer paper, not plastic bags Use wax paper sandwich bags. Lots more, but this is plenty to get started - just do what seems easiest and keep going!

- After doing the basic work, waterproof construction is mainly divided into:1, for protrusions (chimneys, etc.), cut polyester cloth, coated with base paint, polyester cloth and then coated with a layer to ensure smooth;2, in the waterproof area, coated with 2 layers of surface coating;3, surface firmware, coated with 10cm*10cm polyester cloth coated with base coating.

- I guess it would depend on your preference, but I separate all of the family's clothing into categories. All jeans go together, on cold, all underwear goes together on hot. etc, etc. To make the most out of doing laundry and not waste water I always do a full load, even if I have to throw towels in with underwear or my husband's t shirts.
