Q: 60% polyester 40% cottonDo not Iron Do not dry cleanthen what should I do, it looks ugly hanged with those folds
Just hang them up some where if you don't want them in the room you bought them for eventually the folds will come out, because off the air and gravity. if it says don't iron then you shouldn't, you could try washing them and hanging them out side to dry.
Q: I am a puppeteer. I recently went to a workshop with a little old lady that made masks for a local college‘s drama department. She had large, cartoony animal heads covered in fleece. Their shape was given by a thin hard shell and nothing else. She said that it was a fabric that you could either bake or heat up with a hairdryer and shape, then it would dry hard. It felt very sturdy and was hard as thick plastic. What is the name of this material?
MAF sensor issue would be from BOTH P0171 AND P0174. Not sure where that diagnosis came from. We would love to help you but P0174 means different things in my 2003 F150 than it does your car. (Hint.hint.)
Q: Ok, I just knit a scarf made out of yarn that's 72% Acrylic, 23% Polyester, and 5% Lurex. I used Stockinette stitch and gave it garter stitch borders so it won't curl but did anyway, I wanted to flatten it out a bit and give it a softer touch by ironing it, I put a damp cloth over it and ironed it on med-low heat, so now the scarf looks lifeless and not so neat, it got really flat. Please tell me what I can do to save this scarf, will washing it do the trick? Also, can you tell me the pros and cons of using Acrylic yarn. What type of yarn do you consider best for knitting scarves and handbags? Your input is highly appreciated, thank you!
i'm no longer responsive to a 'consumer-friendly', altho there could be one. For any variety of headscarf (knit, crochet, sewn), I generally objective for 31/2 to 4 feet long and around 9 huge. I generally initiate with a length that would artwork for me and regulate it for the adjustments between me and the recipient. in case you like it extra dramatic, make it longer (extra effective than 6 feet starts to get risky, tho).
Q: Do asset tags stick permanently to surface ?
Simple adhesive paper/plastic asset tags, removable polyester cloth tags etc don't stick permanently to surfaces. In most cases they can be removed simply, by peeling off. However, the best quality labels or tags are usually semi-permanent in nature. These metal tags can't be removed casually like the tags mentioned above. They are made so because one might want to re-sell their computers, laptops in future and a new asset tag might be needed (or any other such reason). These permanently fused metal asset tags can only be pried open with a knife and some additional force. The leftover adhesive can be easily removed by any adhesive remover.
Q: I would like any ideas on how to best make my 14ft aluminum boat into a bass fishing boat? ?
Sure. Take it out on the lake and fish for bass.
Q: After much research I have decided I will go with cloth with this baby (due 6-3-08). I am a stay at home mom, so I have the time- geez maybe it will give me something to do and make me less bored! Anyway, I have decided, due to money issues, to go with pre-folds with a diaper cover. I know the all-in-ones are easier, but the start up cost is just to much (I stay at home, have to cut costs somewhere!) I have pretty much decided on prowrap covers as they seem like a good product for the money, but I would like to hear if any of you have other suggestions on wraps. Breastfeeding moms, you know what breastmilk poo is like, so keep that in mind for me. Also, what brand of pre-folds worked for you? Thanks for your suggestions.
I used prefolds both Indian and Chinese they both seemed to work the same for me. If I could do it over again I probably would have used those disposable liners. But the cloth liners I used still worked fine and only had blowouts when I had been the one to shift the diaper in the wrong direction during a change. I also used bummis super whisper wraps. I didn't really like the pro wrap in comparison but that's just me.
Q: Hi, I am planning to de-weed many flower beds in yard and cover with weed cloth. What kinds of experiences have you had and do you have any suggestions for best brands and how well it works. I used it once 5 years ago for a smaller area, and found that many weeds grow right thru it.??? Also, would it be possible to just use fabric I have bought to sew on and don‘t want any more ? Would this cause a problem ? Any landscapers/gardeners out there with some good insight ?
I used it once, and am still regretting it. You can't plant once it's down. The next year you can never find the same holes to use. The 3rd year it started to disintegrate, and I had more weeds than ever before, and I had to deal with the rotting screen. NOW, better late that never, I use Preen and mulch. Get your beds weed free, and spread Preen/directions on container. Spread your mulch, and spread Preen on the mulch. DONE! Preen lasts 6 months. Oh yeah, you may get 1 or 2 stubborn weeds, but that's all. If you haven't heard about it, Preen is a pre-emergent weed barrier. It just doesn't let the weed seeds germinate. In answer to you question regarding regular fabric, no, you can't use it. It will disintegrate even faster than the weed barrier. Just remember that once you spread your Preen there are no flower seeds that can germinate. You have to use plants. If you like it, put it in your vegetable garden, but not until all your lettuce, beets, etc. seeds have germinated.
Q: My future wife is looking to buy a weeding gown but she was curious to find out if satin is actually classified into different types or maybe the quality.
