Q: Please can anyone suggest a low odour, crystal clear (not yellow tinged) resin that I may use as a top coat(s) for an outside sculpture? It needs to last out in the wind and rain! I‘ve thought of boat varnish maybe?Also would like a low/no odour resin for using with fibreglass.that doesnt have to be clear as I‘ll be painting over it.: I think just by checking with dealers you can find low odor resin for fiberglass, but your desire for a low odor crystal clear varnish for a sculpture is almost certainly doomed - the less pigment in a coating the more quickly it is damaged by UV outdoors. Boat varnish will almost certainly yellow (I use Spar Varnish which starts yellowish and gets more intense) which is mostly irrelevant because it is protecting brown wood, so the yellow doesn't hurt. And why low odor - do you have to finish it in your livingroom?

Q: I have a male cockatiel which has lost his mate recently. He was in the cage with another 2 birds but I have had to remove one of them as he was constantly picking on her, so he is left with a male in the cage. He is calling out constantly, all day every day. He has toys, he is in the living room so there is always someone around, there are 2 other birds in the house besides him (a mini Macaw and a blue pennant rosella, the male with him and the little female we had to remove, and its getting to the point were its driving me potty. Not only is he shouting but he is setting the rest off as well (the Macaw can get pretty loud) Is there anything I can do to stop this, he wasnt like this before, he either gets covered till he is quiet or ignored at the moment.: 1.Put a towel or blanket over the cage. Turn off the lights. Most birds will become quiet in the dark. 2.Realize that birds are smart and may learn to use this as a means of getting your attention. If you proceed to yell at your bird when he's loud, he thinks the two of you are just yelling together in sweet harmony. They don't find yelling irritating. Instead, remain nonchalant as you hush your bird. Don't make eye contact (but do make sure that the bird is okay). 3.Understand that early morning and evening are natural bird singsong times. If you live near the countryside, you may hear all the little songbirds chirping just before dawn 4.Realize that a bird's going to make some noise sometimes. Shut your bedroom door and put the pillow over your ears! 5.Be sure to reward birds who are behaving quietly. This can be done by giving the bird a food treat such as apple slices, plain popcorn (no butter, salt or other seasonings), or even cooked pasta (without any extra ingredients such as pasta sauce, which is high in sodium and can be harmful to birds).

Q: I am planning on making a flag to take mainly away games with me, I have seen some brilliant ones and would love to own one I was just wondering what is the material you use to make one so I can get some?Also any other tips on general flag making? If you have made one before or seen any good articles, general tips really for a first time flag maker :)Also what type of lettering is best too use? Q: My mom used to use an orange square dish scrubbie cloth when I was growing up, (20+ years ago). It was square, orange with red thread around the edges and very scratchy, not absorbant at all, like it was woven with polyester. Any ideas where I can find these? The brand name? I have searched in the grocery store, our farm store, the dollar store, home improvement store and on line.: This sounds like what my brother has.He buys his at a local drug store in the laundry isle.

Q: Do i have to use a plastic liner with 100% polyester shower curtain to keep the water in?: just use WD40. It helps

Q: The top floor houses Water Leakage area of 60 square meters, how much money: I did leak before I can give you a reference price. Materials are generally used: water soluble polyurethane, if it is to use asphalt, I suggest you don't have to. Because the time is not long, but it is easy to fall off. Q: What kind of socks / shoes (formal) should be purchased primarily, to avoid sweat and odour. in terms of material and how to recognize it ? Should it be good for 100%cotton socks or is 70% cotton and 30% polyster good ? How about shoes (leather or other etc). I generally pick up shoes without laces: I have an infection on my foot, so the doctors simply told me to wear 100% cotton socks to absorb the sweat, which means less odour on the foot. They also told me to wear shoes with airholes, so my feet can get air. So 100% cotton socks is probably the best, as polyester doesn't provide the same absorption as does cotton. Simply go for shoes with airholes, I really doubt the material matters much.

Q: Need to know how these fiber affect health.: If it is cloth fabric, you can light a match to it, if it has black smoke coming from it and balls into little pieces and drops of in chunks, then it is made from crude oil. fake fur, polyester, etc. If the fabric is wool, then you will smell the sheep or animal that it came from. Silk smells like worms, Cotton smells like the cotton plant or wood. All materials smell like the original origin that they derived from when a match is set to them. Do not use a lighter as you will distort the smell and it will smell like the fuel from the lighter. Make sure you have an ash try or safety pan underneath, because different fabrics burn at different rates and have very good ventilation. You will know which are toxic and which aren't when you have done the test. Please be careful as some materials are very flammable and toxic.
