Q: What is the working principle of a vacuum cleaner?
Inside the machine, there is an electric fan, which operates at high speed and makes the vacuum inside the vacuum cleaner
Q: How efficient are vacuum cleaners in preventing the dust and other dirt that they suck from escaping through the air outlet. I'm using a Khind branded wet and dry vaccum cleaner model VC 3661, priced about USD 60, manufactured in 2004. The type that is shaped like a bucket and has its air outlet facing upwards and a removable, washable cotton bag inside. I notice that it has only two layers (slices) of dark -colored Sponge like material when I remove the air outlet cover. Is that sufficient to prevent dust, dirt and most importantly bacteria from coming out form the cleaner itself. It could be releasing the bacteria and spreading it all over the place.
I have horrible allergies, so cleanliness is very important. The wet dry vac is not worth anything unless you are using it in a shop of some sort. It doesn't filter bacteria, or anything else for that matter. The stores carry vacuum cleaners you can buy allergenic filters for. I would suggest if you are worried about it, go out and buy a cheap vacuum cleaner and get the allergen filters that go with it. The reason I say get a cheap one is because they all release some bacteria in the air. I would also make sure to have an allergen filter in your A/C-Heater also. That will filter the air better and you won't have to worry about it as much. Hope this helps!!!! Reasa

3200*0.08+200=456. Answer: $456.

Q: a retailer sold 50 vacuum cleaners at $90 and 35 vacuum cleaners at $140...what is the weighted mean price of a vacuum cleaner sold by the retailer???
Weighted price = Total Income / Total number of vacuum cleaners Weighted price = (50*90 + 35*140) / (50 + 35) = $110.59
Q: vacuum, air cleaners. Duribilaty, usuages, warrentys, etc.
without going into a long answer,I will tell you you would be better off getting a Hepa vacuum with washable filters, and a dirt chamber that is removable than spending big money on a vacuum that is over rated and very expensive.
Q: Example: If I had a vacuum cleaner and I turned it on and got another vacuum cleaner and turned it on; both vacuum cleaners are the same. Will the noise stay the same or be louder?I can see it being louder, but I think it will stay the same because it is the same noise which wouldn't really contribute to the loudness of the noise.
It depends. A vacuum cleaner is probably a bad example. A vacuum generates more of a white noise than a tone or particular 'sound' that could be easily tested or studied. Practically speaking and actually taking measurements, you'll probably find it louder, but not twice as loud. Pressure waves (sound) can be additive, or they can cancel each other out depending on their phase. If two identical pressure waves are exactly in phase, the result is a doubling of their amplitude. If they are exactly out of phase, they cancel each other out and you won't hear anything.
Q: A little old lady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.quot;Good morning, said the young man. quot;If I could take a couple of minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered vacuum cleaners.quot;quot;Go away!said the old lady. quot;I haven't got any money!quot;, quot;I'mbroke!and she proceeded to close the door.Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the doorand pushed it wide open. quot;Don't be too hasty!he said. quot; Not until you have at least seen my demonstration. And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure on to her hallway carpet.quot; If this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder. The old lady stepped back and said, quot;Well I hope you've got adamned good appetite, because they cut off my electricity thismorning.quot; What part of broke do you not understand?
Good one!
Q: if you brought a battery operated conventional vacuum cleaner into space, in theory would it work? would it be able to create the internal vacuum to make it work? ( I am thinking along the lines of positive and negative pressure)
how could it make a pressure gradient if the pressure is zero everywhere? your vacuum cleaner would be reduced to just being a box with a rotating disc inside.
