- Dyson, eureka, shark, dirt devil, Bissell, got 20 of each laying in the office. Spend real money on a Kirby that will last 20 plus years cleaning up to 14 inches deep. Call for a demonstration at your local Kirby store. They'll Show You the Difference between Kirby and any other.

- There isn't a vacuum cleaner they would use. The vacuums suction would be way too strong to be used for liposuction, that is why they use a medical suction.

- I also work for a vacuum shop, and I would agree with the other person above about not going bagless. The hair will definitly clog the filters faster and makes for a real dirty mess. I honestly think it will be hard to find a good quality vacuum in that price range that will last. All vacuums are stong and pick up at first. The Dyson is horrible, simply put. Very heavy, clog often and noone wants to repair them. The Dirt Devil company has made better vacuums as of late, but I would would recommend a Sanitaire vacuum which will give you more longevity and eventually you will want to get a canister. Sanitaire vacuums are made for commercal use, but can be used in residential settings and are very strong and just above your price range. - Probably not. Kirby is a good machine - but you got to figure there's a bunch of old ones around which have held up really well - and you can have them cheap. People want a new machine. So put out the word that you want an old Kirby.. And don't let these pieces of crap make you feel guilty!!!! This is how they sell vacuum cleaners. I remember our psychology professor telling us this specifically.... he said that to sell anything door to door, you have to learn how to make a person feel guilty for something. DON'T fall for it. There's old Hoovers around too - and they're a good machine. Often you can get a really old one - from as far back as the 50's - and get a new beater bar for it, repair the bag, oil the motor and away you go.
