Fiberglass Geogrid Earthwork Coated with Bitumen

Description Of Fiberglass Geogrid Earthwork Coated with Bitumen:

Fiberglass geogrid is a kind of new favorable earthwork base material to strengthen the road surface and roadbed.This product is made by weaving and covering fiberglass filament. It is featured by high vertical and horizontal tensile strength,low unit extension, high flexibility, and favorable high and low temperature resistance.The products after surface covering own the favorable property of alkali resistance and aging resistance. It is used widely to increase the asphalt road surface, concrete road and roadbed (both soft and hard road surfaces).Compared with the traditional road surface, it reduces the cost, prolong the service life, and avoid the reflection road crackle.This product is also used to strengthen the soft land, such as railway, airport, irrigation work, and dyke, etc, and the roadbed.

Main Features of Fiberglass Geogrid Earthwork Coated with Bitumen:

(1)High tensile strength in both the vertical and  horizontal directions;
(2)Low elongation;
(3)Excellent temperature ;
(4)Good anti-age and alkali-resistance;
(5)Reduce construction cost, extend service life of road and prevent deflection cracks.
This product is formed by weaving and covered with aphalt or PVC.

Q: Are geogrids suitable for reinforcing bridge abutment backfills?
Yes, geogrids are suitable for reinforcing bridge abutment backfills. Geogrids are commonly used in civil engineering projects to enhance soil stability and provide reinforcement. They can effectively distribute the load and prevent soil movement, thereby improving the overall strength and performance of bridge abutment backfills.
Q: How do geogrids help in pavement design?
Geogrids help in pavement design by providing reinforcement and stabilization to the pavement structure. They are placed within the layers of the pavement to distribute and restrain the loads, enhancing the overall strength and durability of the pavement. Geogrids also help in reducing the occurrence of cracks and rutting, extending the lifespan of the pavement.
Q: How do geogrids improve the performance of pavements?
Geogrids improve the performance of pavements by providing reinforcement and stabilization. They help distribute the load across a wider area, reducing stress on the pavement and preventing cracks and deformations. Additionally, geogrids improve the overall strength and durability of the pavement, increasing its lifespan and reducing maintenance needs.
Q: What are the factors that affect the long-term oxidation resistance of geogrids?
The factors that affect the long-term oxidation resistance of geogrids include the type and quality of polymer used in the geogrid manufacturing, the presence of antioxidants or stabilizers in the polymer, exposure to environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and UV radiation, as well as the level of mechanical stress or strain experienced by the geogrid over time.
Q: Can geogrids be used for slope stabilization?
Yes, geogrids can be used for slope stabilization. Geogrids are engineered materials made from polymers that are used to reinforce and stabilize slopes. They are typically installed in a grid-like pattern and provide strength and stability to the soil, preventing erosion and reducing the risk of slope failure.
Q: Dimensions of U shaped steel nails for geogrids
Hello, U shaped steel nail size 80*3 mm
Q: Can geogrids be used in temporary construction platforms?
Yes, geogrids can be used in temporary construction platforms. Geogrids are commonly used in construction projects to reinforce soil and provide stability. They can be used as a cost-effective solution for temporary construction platforms by improving load-bearing capacity and preventing soil erosion.
Q: What is the effect of installation damage on geogrid performance?
Installation damage can have a significant impact on the performance of geogrids. Damage during installation can result in reduced tensile strength, deformation, and compromised stability of the geogrid. This can lead to a decreased ability to reinforce and stabilize soil, ultimately affecting the overall effectiveness of the geogrid in its intended application. Therefore, it is crucial to handle and install geogrids carefully to minimize any potential damage that could affect their performance.
Q: How do geogrids enhance the performance of reinforced soil slopes?
Geogrids enhance the performance of reinforced soil slopes by providing tensile strength and increasing the stability of the soil structure. They act as a reinforcement material, distributing loads and reducing soil movement, preventing erosion and slope failure. Additionally, geogrids improve soil compaction and drainage, enhancing the overall performance and durability of reinforced soil slopes.
Q: How to do this in the geogrid in the retaining wall? Is there any remedy?
Thermal stability - the melting temperature of the glass fiber is above 1000 DEG C, which ensures the stability of the fiberglass geogrid in the paving operation.
