Product Applications:
The panels are udes widely in schools, offices, music studios, lecture theatres,
multi purpose halls, interview rooms, training areas and cinemas. They meet the
requirements of BB93 of Building Regulations for acoustics in school buildings and
are Class O fire rated hence meeting the Fire Regulations as well.
Product Advantages:
Saves headroom space because exceptional noise absorption effectiveness is achieved by low (30mm) material thickness.
Surfaces can be emulsion painted to any colour without significant loss in noise
absorption. Increase savings due to fast and easy installation.Lightweight and therefore are ideal for adhering to ceilings, which do not have a very high load bearing capabilities.
Meets BB93 standards for school acoustics as well as common areas in flats for Building
Regulations.
Reinforced edges for increased durability.

- Q: I wonder if there is fibreglass in it.It is easily scraped off, but creates dust from particles.I could remove it myself, but am wary of the dangers it might pose to lungs. There are no windows to the classroom. A student told me that it exacerbates his asthma. The schoolboard solution is to cover it up with a hanging tiledceiling. Is that reasonable? No money in education for removal, unless dangerous. Do I have any reason for concern?
- I would research it with the health dept. because it could have hazardous chemicals in it. just think they used lead based paint until I think 1978?
- Q: Worked putting ceiling tile in for a commercial building and on the other side of tile was yellow insulation.first time working with it didnt know any betterno gloves no mask short sleeve shirtgot it all over skin by lunch time eyes were watery itchy by the time work was over I was itching next day noticed two red sores on armjust ignored them few days later I had more places similar and itched like crazyhow do I get rid of insulation itch / rash??
- Insulation has a nasty habit of doing this to people. Fiberglass insulation is the worst, as it literally cuts the skin and causes serious rashes and enough itchy feeling that people usually draw blood from scratching so much. Water, soap, and a good scrubbing to start would be good. Watch for pain when scrubbing the area to make sure there is nothing stuck in the area that you could potentially be driving deeper into the skin. Buy some anti-itch cream in the mean time. The rash should go away with time and proper hygiene.
- Q: Our basement family room has an insulated ceiling but the bedrooms do not. One bedroom is below a bathroom and it gets very loud because of a water waste pipe. We have a storage room that has open access to the ceiling space. It would be about 20ft that we would have to push insulation into. This seems like it would be very hard with traditional roll insulation. It would be very easy to put some lengths of soundboard or xps or something in, but I don't know if it would achieve the desired effect. Thanks in advance.
- XPS - expanded polystyrene - would be a poor choice for sound insulation. Better than nothing, but not a great result for the money compared to some other choices. Fiberglass insulation does a surprisingly good job of reducing sound transmission. Add a ceiling to the joists above: suspended noise attenuation board - ask around at musical instrument stores for suggestions where to get that - can help a lot but it's pricier than other ceiling choices, so limit its use to where it's needed most: right around that pipe. If you're really sick of the noise, go nuts: Frame for a box of acoustic ceiling to go right around that entire pipe. Acoustic ceiling, also called drop ceiling tiles, again isn't everything it could be but it has the advantages of being cheap and easy to install. Make a trough that goes up against the floor above and box in that pipe. You might lose some tiles in the event of a future leak, but no biggie: the tiles are cheap. Now insulate around the box and under the floor above, same as you did elsewhere in the basement. Now install a dropped ceiling in the entire space. The noise from the pipe will probably still be audible, but it should be nothing like what it was.
- Q: What is the best sound insulation effect?
- Sound-absorbing cotton and foam can be. Not so complicated
- Q: Want to buy their own materials decoration, need to pay attention to what?
- Water pipe: there is a PPR glass stabilized tube, than the average PPR tube in the middle of a light blue and green glass fiber layer, wall thickness hardness toughness is enough, the diameter is large enough, than ordinary PPR tube anti-freeze anti- Good, sub-hot and cold tube. can be more detailed introduction and brand, choose their own. In fact, the water pipe is not much problem, the key in the connection. Elbow joint valve god horse do not mean, all the copper no matter what the stainless steel can not be floating.

Metallurgical industry: used to manufacture refractory and puzzle arm of the adhesive, and is the manufacture of flux and smelting metal magnesium Of raw materials. 6. Machinery industry: life, with lime soil can be made of mechanical crates, triangular mats and furniture, etc., is "soil material" good material. 7. Transportation industry: for the road ice melting agent, ice fast, less corrosive to the vehicle, higher than the effect of sodium chloride. 8. Medicine: made of magnesium chloride "halogen dry" can be used for medicinal purposes. 9. Agriculture: available for magnesium fertilizer, potassium and magnesium fertilizer and cotton defoliants.
- Q: Can you play a sound absorbing effect with a grid ceiling?
- Upstairs that is to use fiberglass, this is if it is home improvement, do not choose this, home improvement on the election polyester fiber cotton, the sound-absorbing effect is also good, according to the upstairs that do, polyester fiber sound-absorbing cotton filled 10 cm about there!

- Q: hey. i am moving my room into another room in my house. The only problem with this room is that the ceiling is quite old and one part of it fell off. I need to fix this part that fell off. I think the whole ceiling is plaster i guess but underneath the plaster are these really skinny wood boards with something that looks like cement between them. Can i just do the standard drywall fix with a new drywall piece and some mesh and can i nail the drywall into these boards? I also need to peel ugly wallpaper off too to paint it. If i could just fix this part of the ceiling, things would be great. Oh, the whole is like 3 feet by 2 ft so how much would the drywall be to fix it. i cant get it done by a proffessional because i have no money and my mom will by me the drywall. A lot of help appreciated. thanks.
- You can repair it with drywall but it will take a lot of sheet rock mud to get it right. One half inch drywall costs about 12.00 in Georgia. The mud will cost about 8.00.
