Q: what one emo or metal?
Older metal bands such as Overkill are way better than new metal, for me new metal was what i first heard to get into the genre, from hearing it on TV or at a friends house, then when i started to look more into the different bands i found new metal to be very annoying and crappy. I don't mind SOME newer bands though.
Q: How do you predict if a metal ION will react with a metal ATOM?
metals tend to have just one or two free electrons loosely bound. the S, P, and D orbitals aren't tight, and as such, the metals are most likely to lose the electron. the non-metal can emit as well, but given that it takes far less energy to remove a metal electron, the metal electron is likely to be the source. it's kind of like putting a piece of paper up against a piece of steel. sure, if you can punch through the steel, then you'll see your hole. but you will almost certainly punch through the paper before then.

Grunge destryed everything I loved about rock. I'm going with hair metal, the videos are still fun to watch and the music is entertaining.
Q: which do you like more?and what game from that series?me:Metal Gear 4 from Metal Gear series.what about YOU?THANKS!
These are the 7 metalloid elements (boron, silicon, germanium, arsenic, antimony, tellurium, polonium) they have some metallic properties but not all them. The other elements in these groups to the left of the metalloids are metals and the rest are non metals including two gases (nitrogen and oxygen).
Q: During sex, which would you prefer? Being handcuffed with furry handcuffs or metal? Furry may be more comfortable but metal is a bit more realistic. So? which one is better?
It depends on the quantity. If it is very small in quantity, you may put the same in a pan and place it on the oven. It will melt. If it is in large scale, you will have to visit the process opted in Foundry of any Metal Factory.
Q: The oxidation number of a metal is always the same for that metal.True or False??

Q: i know it sounds weird but how can a new metal band not be criticized for being a quot;nuquot; metal band and if they try to act like old Metal bands, they get called posersso, like how can they?
I'll name off all I can think of, there are A LOT of subgenres, and some I won't be able to list bands for cause I don't know any bands in the genres lol. Technical death metal - Obscura Progressive death metal - Death Old school death metal - Morbid Angel Brutal death metal Deathcore - Bring Me The Horizon Grindcore - Carcass New Wave of British Heavy Metal - Iron Maiden Metalcore - Trivium Symphonic metal - Symphony X Melodic death metal - Amon Amarth Progressive metal - Cynic Black metal - Satyricon Doom metal - Saint Vitus Epic doom metal - Candlemass Power metal - Blind Guardian Folk metal - Ensiferum Christian metal Pornogrind Glam metal - Motley Crue Trad metal - Judas Priest Thrash metal - Megadeth Gothic metal Slam death Nu metal - Slipknot Neoclassical metal - Cacophony Post-metal Djent - Meshuggah Speed metal - Agent Steel Stoner metal - High On Fire Alternative metal
Q: Can anybody name about three corrosive metals and three non-corrosive metals? Also is acid corrosive?
A transition metal carbene complex is a organometallic compound featuring a divalent organic ligand. The divalent organic ligand coordinated to the metal center is called a carbene. All transition metals form such complexes. Many methods for synthesizing them and reactions utilizing them have been reported. The term carbene ligand is a formalism since many are not derived from carbenes and almost none exhibit the reactivity characteristic of carbenes. Described often as M=CR2, they represent a class of organic ligands intermediate between alkyls (-CR3) and carbynes (≡CR). They feature in many catalytic reactions in the petrochemical industry and are of increasing interest in fine chemicals. The characterization of (CO)5Cr(COCH3(Ph)) in the 1960's is often cited as the starting point of the area,[1] although carbenoid ligands had been previously implicated.
Q: I do not know what the difference between these two genres is. Please do not say that quot;Progressive metal is prog rock and metal.quot; I do not know what the word progressive implies. Thanks in advanced!
As a Metalhead from 1970 (Black Sabbath's debut!) The 70's Metal is where it started. Great bands like Black Sabbath and Judas Priest ruled the Metal realm. In my opinion the 80's Hair Metal fag bands almost killed the genre and if it wasn't for the late 80's Thrash attack they probably would have. Metal of today is so much more diverse than it ever has in the past. Great Black, Death, Power, Gothic, Industrial, Heavy Metal from all over the world! It's the internet/world era now. Embrace it!
Q: How are some metals shiny and some dull?
For the metal-to-metal coefficient of static friction, it depends a lot on the composition of the different metals, their surface finish, and the amount and composition of any lubricant or surface contaminant. Ditto for leather on metal. As a rule, for clean, smooth metal-to-metal surfaces, dissimilar metals tend to give lower values for static friction than two surfaces of the same metal that would have a tendency to stick to each other (i.e., seize) and refuse to slide at all. This is especially true if one of the metals is very hard and the other is relatively soft, which is one reason why sleeve bearings are made of relatively soft stuff. It also helps if the surfaces are smooth but not too smooth. Minimum values you can expect for the coefficient of static friction would be in the range of 0.1. From a theoretical standpoint, leather on metal is even more complicated than metal on metal because the leather is a chemically and structurally complex mix of substances that can be expected to change with age, usage, and environment. That said, the tables in the reference will give you some idea what to expect.
