- Get your mining level to 40 by mining iron ore in the mines southwest of Varrock, and which is also northwest of the Champions Guild. Bank the ore in Varrock bank and go back, and do this repeatadly. Once you reach level 40, you should have lots of iron ores. Each iron ore is worth around 100 gp, and rune pickaxes are 19.3K each, so all you need to do is mine 193 iron ores and then buy a rune pickaxe. Once you have a rune pickaxe, mining iron ores will be extremeley fast, and you'll earn lots of money in no time. Another thing to do after you get 40 mining is to mine iron and coal and smelt them into steel bars. Steel bars are worth around 650 gp each so its really worth it. Just train your smelting to a high enough level and smelt steel bars. Once you have a lot of money, buy the best kind of armor your level can get, and the best kind of weapon. Have fun.

- It's the ring of forging. The theory behind the ring sounds great, right? But it's not as good as it sounds. The ring only lasts for 140 ores. It's not really worth it. I suggest getting 30 smithing and making steel bars. The XP isn't as fast, but it's more money and you're able to do it in F2P.
