Product Description

Description:
Ferro Silicon is a kind of ferroalloy which is composed of ferrum and silicon. Ferro Silicon uses coke
(or silica)

as raw materials and is made by electric furnace. Because silicon and oxygen are easily composition into
SiO2,  the ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steelmaking.

Application:

1. Ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steel- making.

2. Ferrosilicon also can be used as alloy elements join agent,  which is widely used in low alloy steel,  non-       ferrous metal,  bearing steel,  heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.

3. It can be used as a reductant in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.

4. In iron industry it can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.

Q: Like if I glue a small metal piece to another small metal piece... Will it stay pretty good and be strong?
Non-metal...because it's in Group One along with all the alkali metals, BUT it doesn't share the chemical properties of the alkali metals at all. It's a gas. It's special case is shown graphically by placing H above the rest of the elements on the periodic table... in the clouds a bit as it were! Ironically, Group 1 is otherwise one of the classic groups for showing a shared and well-defined progressional trend in chemical properties.
Q: or even worse death metal?
Ive only heard of The Berzerker
Q: I like all sub genres of it, but whats so bad about nu metal?
technical probably, normal death metal they probably dont care
Q: What are the differences between black, trash and heavy metals? And are there any other metals?
If you look up the band Straight Line Stitch, the lead singer is black. It's metal, she can really scream.
Q: There's something I've been wondering. Where is metal going to go next? Thrash was created in the pursuit of heavier and even more extreme metal, and then black and death doing the same, eventually killing thrash. With death and black metal being the apex of metal extremity right now, where are we going to go next? Will new metal bands keep seeking new extremities, or are we at the peak? Should we be looking into grindcore and it's subgenres such as deathgrind and goregrind for the future? This is speaking in terms of metal advancing in extremity and brutality, not thinking about other genres of metal that aren't created in the quest for extreme metal.
Metals like iron, potassium, zinc, and magnesium are found in the human bloodstream and are needed or else we'd all be dead.
Q: Isn't metal a sub genre of rock?
Traditionally a metal alloy composed of 85% to 99% tin.
Q: what are metals use for
i hate rap with a passion and metal is the opposite of that. Metal and rock everyone is actually talented where as in rap they dont write the lyrics usually, they beats are made by computers, and there voices are redone. Plus i have been playing guitar for a while and appreciate the speed and precision a lot of metal guitarists have. and i like the feeling it gives, the louder the music, the better it is!!!!
Q: I have some thin sheet 'tin' metal I believe I bought from home depot. I'm trying to make some sheet metal panels with a patina on it. Does anyone know what the sheet metal at HD is made out of and can you oxidize or put a patina on it? If not, is there a certain type of sheet metal I can buy that would work for a decorative patina?
I love metal, but I have found that most metal fans are elitist, snobbish, and are close minded when it comes to music. You asking this question just proves that.
Q: is it possible to make some metal songs about Islam ?
Metals: 1.) are malleable 2.) are electrically-conductive 3.) are ductile Nonmetals: 1.) are brittle 2.) are insulative 3.) have higher electronegativities than metals
Q: Can you give some names of some Ferrous Metals? Thanks =)
There are a lot. A simple thing, which I think you're asking, is about their valence electrons. Electrons in an atom rotate it in an orbit. Only a certain number of electrons can be held in each orbit. All atoms 'want' to have a full outer shell, that is they will react with anything until they cannot react any further (by virtue of having a full outer shell). Metals have fewer valence electrons, so they lose them to form positive ions. Non-metals have lots, so they gain some to fill their orbit, and form a negative ion. Then the two are attracted together and form a salt (ionic compound).
