It was very classy and gorgeous items, but for the life of me I cannot remember the company name... I want to get into selling home decor type items myself, and join a company to do it... but I can't seem to find any companies in Canads (Ontario) that are like this... cna you help me out?
- Home Interiors used to be one, but they went bankrupt. Now they are called Home Garden I think.

- Not only with the main building and the surrounding environment in harmony, but also unique and novel garden style

- Paint. Paint is the cheapest way -- by far -- to change the appearance of something. There is a paint for every job, even appliances, floors and tiles! Do some research, shop and ask questions. Learn all you can and then decide on the colors you want. Don't wimp out on all the prep work -- clean everything, sand what needs sanding, use primer and THEN paint. If there is a lot of woodwork, sand it all down, clean it and then either reseal it or re-stain it and then use a sealer. You'll be amazed at how much fresher and cleaner everything will look. The other thing to think about is layout. Changing the layout of furniture to provide a better flow will make a HUGE difference. Get rid of some furniture if things are cluttered. Good luck!
- Q: I'm eager to get into organic home gardening.
- It's amazing. We did a garden one year with zero chemicals. We just plowed, planted the seeds in dirt, weeded/tilled and watered. You wouldn't believe the difference in the way food tastes when it's all natural. Luckily we live on a farm and have plenty of natural fertilizer! You know exactly where you food came from, when and what was put on it. I love having my own garden. Plus it's cheaper! No fertilizer or pesticides to purchase and growing your own costs much less than buying in a store.
- Q: quot;cookbook for diabeticsquot;better homes and garden. It is probably out of print
- I collect old cook books but have just moved and ot all my books are out. I have a book written by Joslin in about 1918 . It puts fruits and veggies in to categories.Veggies such as lettuce, cucumber and celery go into the eat all you want section. Next comes the veggies you have to thrice boil for hours to even eat them. And so on . He makes it clear that there are no medical interventions for diabetes and there will never be any . He claims to think that it all comes down to not eating as the best treatment . I can't find the book you are looking for but thought you'd like to hear about the other .
- Q: Most of the windows in my house have a draft coming in and I want to weatherize them, but not sure what to use that won't rip the paint off the window sills after I remove it later on. I've used the kits from Wal-Mart and it either rips off the paint or leaves a sticky residue. I've also tried using regular old saran wrap and scotch tape but that's about useless lol. Also, we have a set of French doors in the bedroom. Are there any special type of curtains I can buy to keep it warmer? Between the French doors, the window above my head of the bed and the basement door all in our bedroom it gets quite cold...about 5-10 degrees colder than the rest of the house.Advice?(FYI, we rent this house so putting in new windows isn't an option. It's a pretty old house (built in 1917) but is fairly well insulated otherwise.)
- The plastic is your best bet. You can find tape that won't leave a residue, we've got some up on our windows right now. Also, try filling long tube socks with rice or sand and sewing the open end shut and lying them at the bottom of the doors to keep the drafts out. You can also buy extra thick insulated curtains at walmart, those have helped us a lot too!
