Q: even quot;challenging onesquot; and probably won't get one answer bashing me or what my beliefs are on my home or my gardening? But i come here on RS and can get bashed from all sides with even the most neutral questions and suggestions! Why oh why people is that the way it is here? REALLY!? This imo should be the place where the least bit of that is found, right.? Anyone with me? I think we should challenge ourselves in the interest of, whatever you wanna call it, and see how many answers we can give without attacking the persons Character or Answer in anyway. Can it be done? Surely! Will we do it? NOPE! Why not?
I think that the heated discussions that take place is a positive thing- for something that neither side can effectively prove, the debate keeps both perspectives honest. I don't think we should ever be completely 100 % about our beliefs seeing as we cant prove them, and the heated discussion reminds us of this fact, although sometimes unsuccessfully.
Q: this one is 3'9 x 5'6 for $49.50 and this one is 3'10 x 5'7 for $46.49which one would you buy? which seems will look better and have better quality?which looks like an overall better deal?thank you
If you have a lot of beige/brown in your room, go to the first one. If you have no beige/brown at all, your best bet is to go with the second one. Honestly, they're pretty much the same except for the price, color, and seller.
Q: There are a lot of little projects that I would like to do in my home. It was my mother-in-law's home so I would be able to know the history going back 30 years. How should I prioritize the following projects (especially if we plan on living in the home between 5-10 years)?-9 Replacement Windows (currently very drafty single-pane, wood frames) -A friend mentioned that the home's insulation may be shot (not sure) would this be a better investment than windows?-Bathroom (sq. footage unknown but not very large, I would say 8ftx6ft space includes sink/tub/toilet small built-in cabinet)-Kitchen (again, sq. footage unknown but cabinets are 30+ years old and there are only 3 lower cabinets, 2 small drawers and very little counter space)-Landscaping
If you have to choose between replacing windows and doing insulation, do the insulation. You need both, but you can always get plastic sheeting to cover the windows in cold weather. It's not an ideal situation, but it will keep heat in and your heating costs down. You can lose a lot of heat thru uninsulated attics and basements -- there should be insulation under your first floor whether you have a basement or a crawl space. The exception would be the furnace room, which will be warm. My basement, e.g., is divided into two rooms, one with the furnace and one without. I keep the furnace room ceiling uninsulated and the door closed to the cold room. In that room, I have the ceiling, which is the underside of the first floor, insulated with faced R-19, facing toward the first floor. If the attic is unfinished, the floor should have at least R38 insulation, with the vapor-proof barrier facing down. If the attic is finished, the insulation should go in the ceiling, under the roof. In either case, google to make sure you are adequately ventilated, because poorly ventilated or badly installed attic insulation will collect moisture and ruin your roof and ceilings. As far as selling the house, they say the kitchen sells the house. So, I'd say, 1 - insulation, 2 - windows, 3 - kitchen, 4 - bathroom, and 5 - landscaping, tho landscaping can often be done cheaply if neighbors' have hedges that need thinning, e.g., or this time of year you can sometimes find perennials and trees on sale. If you do, and you can improve your landscaping cheaply, do it. Invest in a few nice perennials rather than high maintenance short-lived annuals.

Q: What is the most informative gardening/landscaping book?
I have one called the American Horticultural Society Encyclopedia of Gardening. It was published in October 1993 and is 648 pages long and the ISBN is 1564582914. I haven't found another book that is remotely close to providing all of the information and great illustrations that it does. There are several places that carry used ones online for less than $20. If you buy it new, it will cost about $60. The book basically tells you everything about everything regarding gardening almost. I highly recommend it.
Q: Well... I have never been to USA.. But I have a dream to settle my life in any beautiful city of USA.. I always like nice architectural homes with beautiful gardens and nice maintained roads.. So in which city in america can I find these?
Lets see i do not think you should go to baton rouge ok maybe you could go to vacataion there but i dont know about living there after all there is ton of crime there. I think you should go to flordia there are ton of beautiful beaches there.:)
Q: I have found lots or wholesalers, or retailers claiming to be wholesalers, who will do dropshipping. I am looking to open an actual physical store but I don't know where to find good wholesalers or distributors. I live in Alberta Canada. Does anybody know how I can find wholesalers of quality products that will deliver in bulk? To get products in the US would probably cost too much in shipping which would eat up any profits.
What specific type of items are you looking to sell. Home Garden makes me think of paints, wallpaper etc. Many manufactures don't often sell direct you buy through a vendor. Usually they price according to quantity of items like masking tape for example, a case will be less then if you intermixed numerous sizes. I don't know if 5 Star or Pecoa deliver to Canada, those are 2 co's we dealt with. Some items can have a big mark up while others are marginal, having a good POS set up for pricing, inventory can show you the cost when scanning can even block an item from being discounted if its a marginal mark up.
Q: It needs to be free!
In this program you can create a home or garden that other people can visit and ejoy as well. If you want it to stay in the world while you are gone you would have to pay for some real estate, but it is still possible to create your scene and drop it down in the world whenever you visit. Hope this helps!
Q: I'm thinking about starting a vegetable garden in my backyard....but I have no clue where to start....I've never gardened in my life.....can anyone give me some pointers or recommend a book/website/etc.? Thanks
