Q: Whats the Power Pass mean on a coax cable splitter?
It means it can pass DC current, such as used for satellite LNBs and amplified antennas
Q: I disconect them and now, i don't know how to put them back like they supposed to. Can someone please tell me how to do this? please!!This is some of the information that i got from my PC.OS NameMicrosoft Windows XP ProfessionalVersion5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600OS ManufacturerMicrosoft CorporationSystem NameMY-DBVYSKQ1KC1OSystem ManufacturerVIA Technologies, Inc.System ModelKM266-8235System TypeX86-based PCProcessorx86 Family 6 Model 6 Stepping 2 AuthenticAMD ~1396 MhzBIOS Version/DatePhoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG, 11/7/2002SMBIOS Version2.2Windows DirectoryC:#92;WINDOWSSystem DirectoryC:#92;WINDOWS#92;system32Boot Device#92;Device#92;HarddiskVolume1LocaleUnited StatesHardware Abstraction LayerVersion = quot;5.1.2600.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)quot;User NameMY-DBVYSKQ1KC1O#92;myTime ZoneEastern Standard TimeTotal Physical Memory512.00 MBAvailable Physical Memory79.05 MBTotal Virtual Memory2.00 GBAvailable Virtual Memory1.96 GBPage File Space817.16 MBPage FileC:#92;pagefile.sys
If your talking about the power cables from the power supply to the motherboard those are fairly straight forward. It is a 20 or, 24 pin connector. Usually along the edge opposite the external connections for the motherboard. Although, the placement really depends on the manufacturer and, could even be near the middle of the board. They are keyed and, you can not plug them in incorrectly. As long as you don't force them into the slot. If your speaking of the wires from the case to the motherboard that is a little more difficult. P3 and, P4 motherboards usually have a keyed connection that simply plugs in. Other boards have markings on each of the wires corresponding with it's connection. The one thing that is the same for every board is that the two black wires must be side by side. If you've never done it before you should have labeled each wire and, made a diagram of their placement. Your best hope short of taking your computer to the local shop is to try and, find diagrams for both your motherboard and, the case.
Q: It wont do any damage will it?
yes you can and it will be fine, my 8 pin connectors had clips on the end so i could remove 2 pins and use it as a 6 pin...
Q: Can anyone help? my pc wont turn on without them hooked up.
If you look very close the position for these connectors is written on the motherboard along side of the pins that they connect to in very small letters.
Q: I have my Clearwire modem but have lost the power cable. Does anyone know what I would look for in a replacement power cable.
check the Clearwire URL .. Support tab
Q: Will the wire and cable industry belong to the power industry? The
4 core 185 square millimeters plus 1 core 95 square millimeters of cable three
Q: Last step to install my amp is the Power Cable. Their is a fuse device i must attach to the cord so im guessing i have to cut the gauge install it on both sides and run it to the battery. Does it matter were this fuse device connects? because i want it right next to my amp.thnx
The fuse should be within 18 of the BATTERY!!! I cannot stress this enough. Amplifiers have built in devices which protect the amp, the in-line fuse's sole purpose is to protect the wire in case of a short. Put that fuse close to the amp, and all of that wire feeding from the battery is unprotected; and any part of that wire that shorts to the car can, and continues to pass current to the chassis, until something catches fire due to the tremendous heat created from the short. Mount it as close to the battery as possible.
Q: I got two hard drives. The cable connecting the hard drive has 2 connectors, does it matter which connector goes to the master drive and which goes to the slave drive? same question regarding the power supply. 2 connectors on the power cable, the order matters?
Ok, depending on how you set it up, cable select, and or master/slave, master slave setup it does not matter on the cable positions, cable select the end port on the cable is secondary.......
Q: A friend gave me this monitor, but didn't know where the power cord was. I made the mistake of thinking to myself quot;Oh well, it's just the standard plug, I'll just use one at home. But it is this weird 4-5 Pronged slot I haven't seen before. The manufacturer is HP, but I couldn't find any accessories on their site. Can anyone tell me what kind of plug would fit this, or where to get one? I have included a picture, sorry for the poor quality, but it is from my phone.
comprehend every physique who's been making use of computers for a at the same time as? Or somebody interior the IT branch in college/college/paintings? they are going to have some mendacity around, particularly in the event that they're magpies like me who never throw something away that should in all hazard be useful! Failing which, attempt a computing device fix shop who could supply you one for nowt. If all else fails, attempt OKorder.
Q: When I unplug the power cord from my laptop the screen brightness automatically dims down to about 10% of its total brightness, and when I click the quot;increase screen brightnesskey on the keyboard the brightness will only increase about 5% until it stops. It's like I've put some limit as to how bright the screen can get. Anyone know how to fix this?
I'm not sure if this will fix it but I have an idea. Do you know where the charge level in on your computer. I have the inspiron 1520 so it's an old version but on mine it's on the bottom right hand corner. If you click on that you should get a screen that pops up and gives you the amount of battery life it has left in a percentage then underneath that it should have a select a power plan: area and the options that it gives you are balanced, power saver and High performance. If you click on the high performance then the brightness should be the same weather the power cord is plugged in or not. Hope I helped =)
