- Q: This is not a stupid question, I am curious to know. I was ironing a dress shirt this morning and I dropped the iron. My question: Do irons contain toxins in them that may have been released, such as mercury since it is something that requires time to heat? Will I be ok and the room be ok? Inquring serious answers please
- Iron (new models) are contain a ceramic delta shape that a tungsten carbide (element)is inside of that ceramic pulse a radiator system of the water which that system need the time to brought water to vaporization point and some thermostats and micro switches. There's no gas at all in Irons.
- Q: What are the effects of low iron anemia? Can it make you sick? My doc said my iron levels are really low. Please help!
- Generally people with iron-deficiency anemia are tired a lot of the time and have lots of trouble being attentive to things. They often fall asleep at inappropriate times. And somtimes they will pass out. So what are you and your doctor doing to correct this anemia?
- Q: I try to make curls with my flat iron but it doesnt happen . How many grad should my flat iron be ? 190 ???
- A professional ceramic flat iron, unlike cheaper consumer flat irons, will have a ceramic heater and thick ceramic layers baked onto the plates. (Nano-ceramic means there are only small particles of ceramic; many lower grade irons use this technique or apply a light ceramic coating that easily scrapes off.) Any ceramic flat iron produces negative ions and far infrared heat which is much more gentle to your hair, seals hair follicles to preserve moisture and ultimately conditions hair for added shine and health. A tourmaline flat iron or a titanium flat iron combines these elements with ceramic to increase the ionic output shine. As long as you go with a professional quality ceramic flat iron, you're making the healthiest choice for your hair - but you still need to pick the right size. Flat irons with plates 1 - 1.5 wide are fine for most hair types, as long as your hair is short-medium length. For finer hair, a narrower plate is sufficient. In general these smaller irons are lighter and easier to control. Flat irons with 2 plates or larger are great if you have long hair and a smaller iron would just make your styling more tedious. You can also use larger plates for thicker, curlier hair and they might save some time, but you'll sacrifice easy maneuverability - which might not be worth it if you use your iron frequently. Plates with rounded edges are superior for curls and flips - and won't leave any dents in your hair.
- Q: Which is your favorite Iron Chef on Food Network?
- chef michibo and the swedish chef
- Q: the iron i meant was the one we used to straighten our cloth
- Ok. Firstly, your grammar is offensive. We believe you are attempting to ask how an iron functions. If this is the correct question, then here is the answer from a textile major's point of view. The combination of the iron's heat and steam breaks the hydrogen bonds that were previously formed into a wrinkled state. When those wrinkled bonds are broken, the weight of the iron straightens out the cloth fibers. When the fibers cool, the hydrogen molecules bond once again in the straightened state. Hope this is understandable! Educationally yours, The ShoeBitches
- Q: Is the Andis 3/4-in. Tourmaline Nano-Ceramic Curling Iron is a good product?! :) Thank YoU
- Post this in the hair section.
- Q: What foods should I eat if i want to get a good amount or iron?
- Natural source spinach. Also try supplements under the guidance of a physician.
- Q: how to get more distance with my Irons
- The way to get more distance with the irons is to hit them more squarely and on the sweet spot. If you're lofting your irons too much, then you're hot striking them properly. The proper strike for an iron is to hit the ball first, with the hands leading forward of the club face and THEN taking turf. You also must still release the club and not try to hold the face. This holding of the face will take a lot of distance off because you're not swinging through with your wrists and releasing the club lag. This is also what creates backspin on the ball. I would recommend a training aid called the tour striker. It will definitely help you create the forward shaft lean and lag that you need to hit the ball well with your irons.
