Q: My iron has settings 1-9 which one would be the polyester setting?
My iron has 6 settings and #3 is for rayon and polyester. You have to be careful that it isn't too hot because you can put a wrinkle in polyester or even melt it. You might try out the temp somewhere it won't show-a facing maybe.
Q: Well i visited my doctor yesterday and he says i have Iron deficiency in my diet so guys please suggest me some foods which i could eat on regular basis to increase the iron intake in my body . thanks
In addition to eating more red meat and leafy green vegetables, I'd recommend you simply take a multivitamin. Most all daily multivitamins have a 100 percent daily value of iron.
Q: If iron is melted and then a powerfullt;electromagnet brought near it, will the iron be attracted towards the magnet.
No Idea but taking an educated shot in the dark here i would say YES. Saying YES because although in the liquid/molten form where the electrons a freely roaming and sliding pass each other in a definite space, if an electromagnet powerful enough can be found that can still align those electrons then it is possible that even in the molten state Iron would be magnetic
Q: I hear people say that but how? A flat iron straightens your hair.
They are still using copper where I live in Arkansas for propane lines underground (even new services). Even if your code changed, you should not be required to change it unless you do work on the line such as a repair or moving it to another area. Called grandfathering. Code for underground black iron pipe would include welding all joints and having a coating on it.
Q: Hi! I am doing a report on Iron and i have to do an experiment with something to do with iron. I really had know ideas, but my friend said I can use a magnet and ceral and do some sort of experiment. Does anyone have any cool experiments i could do that involve iron? Thanks for reading and any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Iron can do many things: its a great conductor of heat, electricity and magnetism. Its very stable at room temperature. Its very strong and weighs less than many other metals for its strength. - The most common chemical experiment with iron is to expose it to water. H20 + Fe Rust, respresents a basic chemical change - You can magnetize a bar of iron by exposing it to a strong magnetic field for a period of time. The iron molecules eventually align along the magnetic field lines, causing them to induce a field when the magnetic source is removed, representing a basic physical change in the state of the iron bar - You can wrap a copper coil around the iron bar, attaching either end to a battery which causes the iron bar to instantly turn into an 'electric magnet' - If you wrap a copper coil around a ring and attach either end of the coil to a voltmeter, you can insert a magnetized iron bar in and out of the ring repeated to generate a small electric current. - You can shave the iron bar into iron filings which, when exposed to a magnetic field under a sheet of while paper demonstrate the magnetic field lines associated with the magnet below the paper
Q: ok you drive off then you eathier hit a wood or iron .but what is the diff between irons ?? what iron hit what distance??
You must go to the range and determine how far you hit your clubs. all of them. At that juncture, your golf coarse should have yardage markers and you can then start determining distance, type of shot and the likes. Typical yardage markers on the coarse are 100 yds, 150 yds, and 200 yds. For example, I hit an 8 or 9 iron from 150 yds. I hit my piching wedge 100-130yds, and sand wedge from 100 yds in.
Q: I would like home made recipe for cleaning my clothes iron!
In your glove box, under the piles of kleenex and other junk, are the books you got for the dealership. Among those small books will be one which containg the separate tire warranty provided by the tire manufacturerread it. Talk to the dealership and see if they can do something. The issue may not be in the tire, but in the rim. If it is the rim, the dealership and manufacturer are responsible. If it is the tire, then you may have a claim against the tire manufacturer. btw, toss that half eaten Snickers bar, it's only gonna melt and make a mess in the glove box.
Q: Iron deficiency ANEMIA. What foods to eat to get 18mg of iron a day?
Well you can always take iron supplements but they will constipate you. Best take iron rich foods and take VITAMIN C with them too as it helps you absorb iron. Here is a list of some Iron rich foods: Foods that are a good source of iron include: (liver, lean red meats, including beef, pork, lamb--just so others know too ) seafood, such as oysters, clams, tuna, salmon, and shrimp, etc. beans, including kidney, lima, navy, black, pinto, soy beans, and lentils iron fortified whole grains, including cereals, breads, rice, and pasta greens, including collard greens, kale, mustard greens, spinach, and turnip greens (the darker the green the more iron) tofu vegetables, including broccoli, swiss chard, asparagus, parsley, watercress, brussel sprouts chicken and turkey blackstrap molasses nuts egg yolks dried fruits, such as raisins, prunes, dates and apricots (and probably PURE juices from these are rich too)
Q: What causes iron in water?
Iron can be a troublesome chemical in water supplies. Making up at least 5 percent of the earth’s crust, iron is one of the earth’s most plentiful resources. Rainwater as it infiltrates the soil and underlying geologic formations dissolves iron, causing it to seep into aquifers that serve as sources of groundwater for wells. --------------------------- I hope this is helpful.
