- Q: What color coffee table and carpet do match with green sofa
- Wool or something, the color of the king, suggest using light color! Carpet! If you can find a tea table with a little green trim strips is more beautiful white
- Q: There are differences b/t carpet pythons, so please don't answer unless you know your JUNGLES. How old do you think my new 12-inch JUNGLE carpet python is? I have received several answers-- she's a hatchling, she's 5 months old, she's 5 weeks old, etc. I was recently told that jungles hatch at 4-6 inches. Need a more definite answer! Thanks!
- I have been breeding jungle carpets for at least a few years, and they hatch at 16 inches in length. You may be measuring wrong, or you don't have a true jungle carpet. Jungle carpets are often crossed with other carpet pythons, such as coastal carpets and Irian Jaya carpets, as well as diamond pythons. Most jungle carpets hatch from March to August, and I'm sure yours hatched in that time frame. Nonetheless, it sounds awfully small for a jungle carpet and should be fed fuzzy mice every 7 days.
- Q: 2 days ago when I came home I noticed that the toilet was leaking water and the whole bathroom floor was flooded. Even the carpet between the bathroom and the kitchen got soaking wet. My husband fixed the toilet and we immediately wet vac'd the carpet.I woke up this morning to this awful smell that was coming from the carpet. I called my apartment manager and he said he will send a carpet cleaner this afternoon.I really cant stand the smell and its giving me a headache.Plus Im kinda worried...Im not really sure that the carpet cleaning will help. (Im afraid that there is mildew under the carpet)Has anybody made the same experience and can tell me if carpet cleaning really helps? And if the smell doesnt go away or will come back does our manager HAVE to replace the carpet because of health reasons?!I'd be thankful for helpful advice.
- You need to have the carpet and padding that is wet pulled up and run a blower on it. I do not mean tear out the carpet and padding just lift it up so the blower will reach the wet area. Equipment rental places have them or some carpet cleaning companies use them also. Blowers are specifically made to dry carpets etc. it is not just a big fan. You need to make sure the subfloor (the plywood or concrete that is under the padding) is dry also. If there is already a bad smell you might want to spray the area under the carpet with mildew remover/bleach. DO NOT get any on the carpet ONLY underneath.
- Q: Because carpet is soft...
- The carpet may be soft, but your chin is a very sensitive part of your body. It never comes in contact with anything - unlike your hands - and it never builds up callous or protective tissue. It is also home to a lot of receptors - so when you rub your chin against the carpet, you are giving it a friction burn and that hurts. Not sure why you might want to rub your chin against the carpet in the first place, but that's why it hurts.
- Q: My kids were not supposed to have drinks in the living room but of course they did and one of them spilled orange soda on my brand new 300$ rug. And of course being kids instead of coming and telling me right away they tried to clean it up with water and then hid it and I did not find it until this morning. So I have soaked it in this carpet spray cleaner and cleaned it with my bissel cleaner 3 times and it still remains! Please help me. Tell me what will remove this terrible stain!
- Use Oxi Clean.
- Q: My brother used toilet bleach on the carpet to wash out some cat pee, and its turned orange, when the carpet is beige!!Is there any way to make it beige again? Otherwise our parents will be mad :/x
- Sorry to say, but probably not. Bleach stains are pretty much permanent. Hopefully, your parents will understand.
- Q: How to clean the carpet stained with wax oil?
- Generally, cover the wax with some thick paper with an electric iron to iron it, wax will be absorbed by the paper after heated to melt, after seeing the wax melting, while changing the paper's position while it's hot, thus the wax can basically be absorbed totally.
- Q: I want to clean my carpet but stainz and deep down dirt is a problem, is there something i can add to the water of my carpet cleaner along with the cleaner i would use to improve the results? And maybe there is a home remedy for this and something for a pre-spot cleaner to help break up the stains? Thanks for the help
- ok,lets face the facts.home carpet shampooers are only for touch up they don,t deep clean no matter what you try.i use stanly steamer.to do the deep sanitizing and deep cleaning once a year and touch up with my rug doctor shampooer as needed.well worth the money and when you add up the time and cost of trying to do it yourself it is darn near a free bee.check them out.don,t cost to ask.
- Q: Some wax fell on the carpet(quite dense) and i tried the old trick ironing down a piece of paper on top of it to lift the wax off. It has worked for me before. But now, part of the paper has stuck to the carpet. I tried ripping it off real quick but now there's just a huge patch of paper stuck right into the carpet. How can i get it off/out ? Help ?
- try get a saw and try to saw the paper and wax off.. NOTE:ONLY AN IDEA!!! NOT A SUGGESTION!!! results may vary....possible results: bald spot on the carpet, injured fingers.
- Q: I just moved into a new apartment about three weeks ago, and the carpet in only one room smells like ammonia. It's a really terrible smell and it won't go away after vacuuming many times. I know they shampooed the carpets before I move in. The lady before me who lived here had a dog. I know urine can smell like ammonia after it's sat awhile. Could it be that her dog peed on the carpet? Any ideas about how to get rid of the smell without shampooing the carpet?
- Mix a solution of fifty percent white vinegar and fifty percent water. You must use a liberal amount of this solution to reach the carpet fibers deep down. Work the solution into the carpet with a soft brush (or your fingers) to ensure it penetrates the carpet fibers below. Then blot the area using the paper towel method above to absorb the vinegar mixture. The vinegar will neutralize the ammonia in the dog urine. If you own a wet/dry vacuum extractor use it to remove excess moisture. When the area has dried or almost dried sprinkle a good handful of baking soda over the soiled area. Mix half a cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide with a teaspoon of Dish Soap detergent. Plain liquid dishwashing detergent is required. Do not use caustic dishwasher detergent. Slowly pour the hydrogen peroxide and dishwashing detergent mixture over the baking soda. Alternatively you can use a spray bottle for the hydrogen peroxide/dish washing detergent solution. Then work the baking soda and hydrogen peroxide mixture well into the carpet with your fingers (put on some rubber gloves) or use a brush. Allow the area to dry completely. Once the area is thoroughly dry, vacuum up the baking soda. A fan or heater can assist drying. Use a hard bristled brush to loosen up the baking soda if necessary. That's all there is to it. Your carpet will smell fresh and free from urine odor.
