- I use the light detergent or washing soaps. Do'nt even have to remove the carpet, i do it in piece by piece, wipe the excess water with sponge before applying the vacuum cleaner. Then if the odor persists, sprinkle it with petroleum (about 50 ml without engine oil) and open the doors and windows for 4 hours. - Pulling the rug effect only works when the monster is summon and is effect activates during the summon, pulling the rug wwill not effect dark red enchanter after its been on the field already

- Brand doesn't matter. Any good quality wool rug will not shed. Shop quality, not brand.

- I like using the dry powder method because it is so simple, no rental machine needed. You just sprinkle it down, agitate with a brush on a stick, let it dry and vacuum it up. It has brighteners in it and freshens up the look of carpet without leaving a detergent residue. Most Manufacturers also prefer customers use a dry granule method of cleaning carpets as it is not so hard on the fiber. Resolve and Capture both make them, as does Chem-dry.

- Q: I have a carpet shampooer, and I'm doing my spring cleaning, and my carpets are off white, and as you can imagine they get quite dingy, especially in winter when people are walking in snow. I have quite a lot of traffic dirt and random spots. I've not been impressed in the past with the shampoo that came with my machine. Could I use oxiclean in my machine to brighten my carpets?
- this isnt a good idea.. Oxiclean is an optical brightener and most home machines dont have the suction to remove all the soap or cleaner once applied and that is why carpets get dingy so quick due to the soap residue and probably like most people recommended is good more is better right? all that added soap dint get pulled out by the machine so it is left to dry in a sticky mess.. using oxiclean and your carpet color Im afraid if sunlight hits it it will turn it kind of an off green color. What I do for my carpets I run vinegar and water. mainly and then spot spray with the cleaner.. depending on the carpets age and material what you are seeing as dirt and dingy may be wear patterns and those will never be removed.

- We bought a new home and it had carpet in the bathroom. We easily removed it. Take a sharp utility knife and cut the carpet in a x down the middle. Pull the carpet up, it will easily tear. Around the baseboards may be a little tricky. Just pull and cut using the knife. You will then have to pull up the foam under the carpet. You may need a flat head screw driver to pop up any staples left in the floor.
