- Q: We've recently moved houses and have found there is sandflies/biting insects everywhere. Into the afternoon my TB mare especially is being eaten alive by the insects and is rubbing herself on the fences and she now is starting to loose her coat because of it. I'm looking at buying at coat for her that we can put on her to hopefully stop the insects but as well the sun, but I have know idea what type of rug I should get her... - Take a paper towel and iron over it. it will re-wet the wax and it will adhere to the paper towel. Be careful not to melt the carpet though:) Also some say ice is supposed to work but I haven't tried that one.

- all you can do is keep applying nail polish remover. you need the acetone in the polish remover to soften and dissolve the nail polish. dribble on nail polish remover let it set for a little bit and blot it with paper towel. repeat until nail polish is removed. it's going to take a long time.
