Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?
Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.
Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.
Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?
All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

- Look, I had the same problem as you. I bought a Kirby vacuum and I am making payments on it. Now I had added the cost of the vacuums together and it was worth getting the Kirby because it come with a warranty that you can't beat. If it breaks they will fix it and if they can't fix it, I get a new one. I know it is more money than you intended on spending, it was for me to but it is a life saver. It also comes with a shampoo attachment that gets out all the old pet stains so I also saved money on replacing my carpet too.

- It depends. I think this idea came from husbands giving wives vaccum cleaners for gifts, instead of something for that person's genuinely personal use (and enjoyment). Also, if you both vacuum half the time, then a vacuum isn't a present for the other person, but for you both. There are some holidays that are supposed to be more personal and romantic -- so, unless you KNOW it's all she wants, not brooms for Valentine's Day, if you follow me. Mostly, it depends knowing the recipient -- which is a lot of what gifts are supposed to be about; did you give thought to what THIS person would want; do you actually KNOW this person, or are you clueless. (Thus, coming from a hubby, when he should know better, is part of the problem.)

- It is a vacuum centrally located in your home, typically the basement. It's huge!! The vacuum piping is then run through the house and you have outlets just like electric outlets. You plug your vacuum hose into the outlets and vacuum away. The dirt and dust collects in the central location and you empty from there. You don't have to lug all of your attachments, etc. from room to room. It's pretty neat, really. My sister had one. Very expensive though. But, that's my sis. Always the spender.

- With allergies, buy any one in your price range as long as it has a hepa filter. They filter finer particles than a regular filtered vac. For a reasonably priced name for a starter vac, check the Dirt Devil brands
