FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q:crazy. Although I empty my bags or canister frequently, my vacuums only seem to last a few months. I just got a Dirt Devil about 2 months ago and its suction is just horrible now. Can anyone recommend a vacuum for under $500 that will last? Thank you.
Look, I had the same problem as you. I bought a Kirby vacuum and I am making payments on it. Now I had added the cost of the vacuums together and it was worth getting the Kirby because it come with a warranty that you can't beat. If it breaks they will fix it and if they can't fix it, I get a new one. I know it is more money than you intended on spending, it was for me to but it is a life saver. It also comes with a shampoo attachment that gets out all the old pet stains so I also saved money on replacing my carpet too.
Q:Her husband came home to find his wife sitting in the chair and two vacuum cleaners in front of her.what are you doing? he inquiredWell........ I'VE just done the vacuuming' she retorted proudlyhow do you figure? he askedWell, the guy at the shop told me .........'cuts your work in half'....................so i bought two:)
aaahhhhhhhhhhhhh blondes are such {?¨?*?`°?`*?O,????āb?? ? ?Я??ǜ?ё?,O?*?`°?`*?¨?} Its really not our fault,,,, that everything takes us twice as long. Is twice as hard, twice as far, or even twice as delusional but what gets me the most, is... how come , ...................If we blondes are so dumb, how come all you black-heads out there, ...............dye yr hair blonde, .... and make us look even worse.!!? I mean. strewth, everyone knows the only good black head ....is the one you just squeezed out ...........and flushed down the sink. just joshing joyce ps.. I own app 3 vacuum cleaners,, none of them work properly,,,
Q:I am researching the Dyson vacuum products for a final paper.
Anyway marketing mix is unique to each product, says you cannot really copy wholesales from any web pages. u can see how they do it on their web page, i.e. distribution channgels, product mix, Marcom strategies, etc. good luck. Cheers.
Q:With Mother's Day around the corner I thought I'd ask something we all can use. There seems to be this idea floating around that many women don't like to receive things like vacuum cleaners, irons, etc. and would rather recieve something more sentimental in value. Men, on the other hand, love receiving tools and things that they can use to do things with. Most of the women in my family like getting things they can use like a vacuum cleaner or something to cook with, so I have to wonder if that thought is really true. So women, if you received a vacuum cleaner or some similar gift, would you be offended by it? If you would be, why? Is it implying that you are the homemaker because you're a woman?
It depends. I think this idea came from husbands giving wives vaccum cleaners for gifts, instead of something for that person's genuinely personal use (and enjoyment). Also, if you both vacuum half the time, then a vacuum isn't a present for the other person, but for you both. There are some holidays that are supposed to be more personal and romantic -- so, unless you KNOW it's all she wants, not brooms for Valentine's Day, if you follow me. Mostly, it depends knowing the recipient -- which is a lot of what gifts are supposed to be about; did you give thought to what THIS person would want; do you actually KNOW this person, or are you clueless. (Thus, coming from a hubby, when he should know better, is part of the problem.)
Q:Do roomba vacuum cleaners really work well? What are their advantages and shortages?Do you have one?
yes im interested in a roomba
Q:I have been looking for homes to buy and I have never heard of this before. I am geussing that it is a vacuum that is centrally located in the house...not sure. Is that just stupid? Anyways, would really like to know. Thanks
It is a vacuum centrally located in your home, typically the basement. It's huge!! The vacuum piping is then run through the house and you have outlets just like electric outlets. You plug your vacuum hose into the outlets and vacuum away. The dirt and dust collects in the central location and you empty from there. You don't have to lug all of your attachments, etc. from room to room. It's pretty neat, really. My sister had one. Very expensive though. But, that's my sis. Always the spender.
Q:...brooms have been replaced by vacuum cleaners??Is it that difficult to ride on a vacuum cleaner ?
I think that may be the reason. Interesting theory!
Q:My vacuum has the ability to fill air matresses, so all that I need is an entention to fill a sport ball. I'd rather that over an electric ball pump because they're priced at $60+ and probably not as good!
Vacuum cleaners don't generate enough pressure to fill a sports ball.
Q:i need something cheap too
With allergies, buy any one in your price range as long as it has a hepa filter. They filter finer particles than a regular filtered vac. For a reasonably priced name for a starter vac, check the Dirt Devil brands
Q:Every dog I've ever owned (of at least four different breeds) reacted to vaccum cleaners oddly. They bolt in terror at the first sight of it, and sometimes bark hysterically. Surely other people notice similar trends.
A Dogs life sucks so bad that they are afraid of TURNING INTO a vacuum cleaner.
