FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q: these are upright, bagless with hepa filters
In Point: The Infinity is no where as efficient as a Dyson (DC17), and will not deep clean as well as the new Dyson. The Dyson (DC17), coupled with its new filtration system and aggressive brushroll specifically designed for American carpets will deep clean better than most vacuums under $1000, as well as the previous Dysons on the market (My older DC14 left alot of filth in my carpet that my DC17 vacuumed up....mostly sand and dust).
Q: I just bought a Kirby vacuum cleaner and I was wondering if they are really that good or did I just get ripped off for 2 grand ?
they are a good machine, that I believe will last a long long time. Weather they are worth the 2G I don't know. Thats a lot of money. I purchased one a few years ago. When recently they came by wanting to demonstrate one, I let them in to demonstrate, when it came time to make the sale, of course I didn't buy since I already have one, and they started dropping the price, supposedly because I was an owner already. I think they eventuallly offered to sell me a new one for a little over 1100. So I guess in that sense you got ripped
Q: I just purchased a Dyson DC 24 vacuum cleaner. The power cord is ridiculously short (claimed to be 20'...don't think so!) Some rooms can't be completely vacuumed with just one plug in to a receptacle. I'm thinking of replacing the existing cord with a longer one (30'). Is this something I can get at the local hardware store, Home Depot, etc? What gauge cord is required?
I am telling YOU not to modify YOUR listed appliance. If I was going to modify MY listed appliance, I'd get a high quality 14 gauge extension cord and remove the female end. I'd also need to put a romex connector (that I got on the electrician aisle) through a 7/8 hole in the vacuum's chassis. That's because my new, beefy cord would be too fat for the existing hole and clamp. I'd also have to tweak my cleats that the cord winds up on. If I was feeling green, I'd get a long cord by whacking one off of somebody's trashed vacuum, pressure washer, etc. Unfortunately, it'd be smaller than 14 gauge. Safety first!
Q: 1. Are they really better than any other vacuum cleaner on the market?2. Does the performance justify the price?3. How much maintenance do they need? Thanks
I bought this thing because of their exceptional advertising. I hated this ridiculously expensive vacuum so much that after 3 months, I went out and bought a Kenmore for less than $100. This vacuum works 100% better and the chord has a button and retracts into the machine. I love it and am getting rid of the Dyson. *** I wouldn't buy it.
Q: I mean, come on! What kinky person vacuums in the dark?
It can help to illuminate the areas under beds and dressers or in the backs of closets below the line of hanging clothes. Also, it might reflect tiny shards of glass which can be difficult to see. EDIT: The areas under dining room, kitchen and coffee tables can be darkened by shadows. The vacuum cleaner light can help spot stray crumbs and dust to ensure a more thorough vacuuming job.
Q: What about the Kirby vacuum cleaners?
What about Kirby Vacuum Cleaners? I know they're are noisy, and grossly over priced. You can talk the salesman down to around $600.00. Check first to see if the salesperson is driving a cadillac Escalade. Also, the sales people prey on old people, and will not leave the home until the unit is sold.
Q: guys, i lost the fuse of ma vacuum cleaner,so 2 replace a new one, i need to know the fuse rating...so please tell me how much amperes is the fuse of hitachi CV-2900
My okorder good luck
Q: Are the kirby vacuum cleaners really a quot;good investment. My husband let these people in our house who were quot;promoting a new store were offering a free floor cleaning demoquot;...FREESkipping to the point..I was lied to and pressure into buying a $2000 vacuum cleaner. I called to cancel but they keep sending people to my house to convince me it's a quot;good investmentshould I keep it or tell them to f* off call the cops next time they come to harrass me? I felt bad because they were here for so long but I can't afford this quot;investmentquot;. They made me feel guilty saying I spend more a month on my cell each month but afterall it's still $2000 for a vacuum
We bought a used 'ninety 4 Kirby in 1996. We paid $4 hundred. for it. i admire the effective suction, in spite of the undeniable fact that it additionally comes with drawbacks. right here are my evaluations approximately this Kirby: a million. i do no longer in common terms like the cost of changing the filters (they're approximately $8. a bag and in common terms have 3 bags in a kit. 2. this is not consumer-friendly to alter from vacuum to using the hose. 3. this is variety of heavy and cumbersome and does not maneuver definitely. in my opinion, this is not fairly worth it. you ought to purchase a bagless Dyson for around $500. and that they paintings super. Does the $1800. cost comprise all the attachments? do you elect all those attachments? Are all the bells whistles fairly worth $1800.?
Q: I need to buy a new vacuum because the dirt devil I have doesnt work. I would like some feedback before I buy a new one. I'm looking to spend around $100 dollars. Any preferred models or brands?
This might be something you would want to check out. I just did a review on this particular vacuum, I hope you like it.
Q: I had two vacuum cleaners from Bissell. One has a problem with the belt piece and can't be repaired, and the other has started to come apart (roller and roller pin, belt latch, and even the dust cup has come off the vacuum cleaner on its own and not even full.)I have been meaning to get a new vacuum cleaner since both cleaners are pretty old. I have a hard tiled floor in the bathroom, kitchen, and pantry (where my cat has her litter box), and I have a carpeted floor in both the living room and bedroom. I'm on a tight budget and I have to keep my apartment extremely clean for my landlord's random inspections,
The reviews for it seem to be good overall, 57% of them were five stars out of five. Because it's so affordable it can't hurt to give it a try.
