Q:What are the best reasonably priced HEPA air filters out there? Is it best to get one that attached to a furnace (but then its only running when the heat or AC is on) or a few smaller ones and move them room to room? Also, I understand that it is imprtant to try and vacuum with a HEPA vacuum. Any advice on something out there that is reasonably priced (and reasonably priced filters). For both, I want to get something that is not too cheap (ie something that actually works) but not top of the line (I am not running a hospital.. just want to increase the quality of the air we breathe at home.
I would go with one attached to your furnace. Most thermostats have a setting that will make the fan run continuously, not just when heat or ac is called for. I think that would be cheaper to buy, run and replace filters for than trying to run several small portable units. We had a Hoover upright with HEPA filter that seemed to work pretty well for a mid-priced vacuum. Bert
Q:I've never had one so any opinion would really help.THANKS...
in the event that they scouse borrow a Dyson vacuum air purifier...why not? enable me purely plug my new Dyson into my associates power furnish and wallah! vacuuming with a Dyson is the hot borrowing gray Poupon? out of your associates Bently..yay!
Q:when the long hair gets tangled in that spinning thing under tthe vacuum
My hair doesn't shed ^__*
Q:and which is best
It depends on what you want in a vacuum cleaner. Bagged cleaners are usually easy to empty, don't need internal cleaning, and bags are fairly inexpensive. However, the dust that collects in a bagged cleaner begins to block the airflow, resulting in lower efficiency as the bag fills. Bagless cleaners have a compartment that can collect debris that sticks to the sides over time, needing the occasional extra maintenance. Also, bagless cleaners usually contain an air filter that must be replaced occasionally. However, if regularly cleaned, the filter can last for quite some time, and it's more efficient in the long run. To nutshell: Bagged cleaners are good for quick and cheap. Bagless cleaners tend to be more powerful and efficient over a long lifetime.
Q:Does anyone know of a quiet vacuum? I would like to vacuum the house without my little man crying.
Both of my children had the same issue. My daughter (who is still very noise sensitive at 6) will still go to her room when I am vacuuming. They got a toy one and it helped significantly. I second the bathroom hand dryer thing. Also the automatic toilets still bother my kids. Another thing that helped was letting my children vacuum. I didn't turn it on the first few times, but then they started pushing the button when they were ready. You don't say how old he is, but if he is old enough to try to help, let him. Or just carry him while you are vacuuming. Good luck...They generally outgrow it.
Q:I had two vacuum cleaners from Bissell. One has a problem with the belt piece and can't be repaired, and the other has started to come apart (roller and roller pin, belt latch, and even the dust cup has come off the vacuum cleaner on its own and not even full.)I have been meaning to get a new vacuum cleaner since both cleaners are pretty old. I have a hard tiled floor in the bathroom, kitchen, and pantry (where my cat has her litter box), and I have a carpeted floor in both the living room and bedroom. I'm on a tight budget and I have to keep my apartment extremely clean for my landlord's random inspections,

Q:What's the difference between regular vacuum cleaners and water vacuum cleaners?
Question: What's the Difference Between a Vacuum and Carpet Steamer or Cleaner (If that's what you mean by water vacuums) Although some carpet steamers and cleaners do have a suction mechanism to remove the cleaning fluid and water from your carpet after cleaning the area, they should only be used for steaming or cleaning a carpet and never used as a vacuum cleaner. Answer: The term 'carpet cleaner' or shampooer used to relate to types of carpet cleaning appliances which did not have a water tank and cleaned using a cleaner in conjunction with brush action. The cleaning fluid actually stayed in the carpet to protect the fibers and was not removed, nor was any water applied. Today, the term generally means any appliance that is used to clean a carpet and carpet cleaners have changed considerably in the last few years. Today, most carpet cleaners are in fact steamers. Along with a liquid cleaning solution, hot water or steam is applied to the carpet. Brushes rotate to help lift the rug fibers and the water and solution is then extracted into a waste water reservoir that must be emptied. This allows carpets to be deep-cleaned and the water is then vacuumed by the same machine, allowing it to dry rather quickly.
Q:No central air or heat, so in winter windows are cracked and in summer windows are screened but opened. I bought the air purifier to help with allergies and after 2 nights it does seem to help, but think I need to go back and get the larger one. This one is for room 10 x 12 and my room is 16 x 13 and is connected to kitchen with no dividing door. Am I fighting a losing battle, or will this unit help pretty bad allergies (I think mostly to dust)? Would love to hear your experiences.P.S. I bought the Holmes brand with Hepa type filter.Thank you.
Air okorder /... (just found this, we didn't record it). I hope this helps.
Q:Why did God make men with British and Australian accents so good at selling vacuum cleaners on American TV?
All related to culture and area... many different languages sound cool or sexy to others of a different language. That is why they use them in commercials, it gets some peoples attention.
Q:I'm looking for a picture of the girl dragging the vacuum cleaner around in the movie quot;Oncequot;. I tried using google image search but couldn't find it, maybe I used the wrong keywords. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
okorder good luck.
