Q: Does anyone know how to reverse the air from a vacuum cleaner? In other words, instead of it sucking the air in, how do you get it to blow out?: I would only do this if you have an out take valve on the vacuum but if you have a new on then just read the instructions or phone the company and ask about this problem

Q: I was just wondering why they are so afraid of hoovers/vacuum cleaners.My dogs are frightened of it.: My younger dog thinks vacuuming is a fantastic game. He's outside, and when the vacuum goes anywhere near the door, you see his head go down, his eyes lock, and he stalks the thing through our door. He barks and leaps and wags his entire behind. Nutter. My older one, on the other hand, couldn't run fast enough. Hates it. Both dogs hate the hose, though. And the younger cannot stand scooters, prams, other dogs, skateboards, strangers, and children. He doesn't attack, except other dogs, he just hides behind me. I think this is partly my fault- I hate everything on that list, except other dogs, so I probably don't help.

I have a Dyson DC40 but am returning it because I do not like it. I am looking for something to do my hardwoods every day, that's not too large or heavy and I think I'd like to stay away from the cordless. I have basically crumbs and dust to pick up in the kitchen/breakfast/dining room areas. We have no pets.Can anyone recommend something? Or tell me what NOT to buy?: Stick vacuums come in cordless as well as standard plug-in models and while not having an electric cord adds to the versatility of the tool, it does mean pricey battery replacements, less power performance and recharging energy use. Q: It's $199 Cnd., and there's a $249 pet dust model, too. 24 cyclone tech, 17 ft. stretch hose, furniture attachments. Not to be confused with the earlier Shark models. It promises to do same job as competition twice the price, but y'know....Vacuum Cleaners.I just don't feel like doing the 'buy, try, and return' routine, so opinion from someone will be appreciated.: Since you purchased one will you let us all know? Please return it if it isn't any good. For anyone that doesn't know Shark Euro Pro are the same company. They also do kitchen appliances under the Bravetti name. I have purchased Shark steamers, yes, steamers not steamer. I love them, I have tried 7 other brands, some cheaper some lots more expensive but none that worked anywhere near as well. However they never last longer than 18 months. For the ones that don't make a year I send in for repairs and the fastest they have ever returned one was 5 1/2 months and that was with several phone calls. I have also purchased some other shark items with about the same results. My point in telling you this is simplly I think they have some great products, excellent ideas, but they haven't quite worked out the quality thing or customer service yet. I hope you don't have any problems like this, but if you can let us know how it works.

Q: My two kids have asthma and doctor says we have to vacuum everyday using a vacuum cleaner that has hepa filters. We are a busy couple and currently have an old dyson that we use once a week at the most (and I doubt it has hepa filtration). My wife's friend recommended getting a robot vacuum cleaner for the job.
