TY.: Every canister vacuum I know of has a way to put a plain floor brush on the end of the wand instead of a beater brush. Shop-vacs also just have plain brushes.

Q: Every vacuum I've had has broken. Two Bissells and Eureka. Cleanview Helix, The other Bissel is the powerforce compact, and the Eureka Optima. Anyways, the rollers stop rolling, and when I try to use them now, the smell of rubber is in the air. Is this from running over cat litter, and aquarium pebbles? Yeah, I tried replacing the belts, and cutting the hair off the roller, and they just don't work anymore. It's so frustrating. Been going through this for like two years now, and we went through two vacuum cleaners, this year!Should I see about changing the filters? Could that be it? Q: The ball can move up and down. I looked closely, and the ball can seal the hole. I flipped my vacuum upside down and the pressure easily holds the ball there. I suppose it must be there to help the flow. Not sure if any swirling occurs below the impeller suction hole, but I doubt it. Is the sphere acting as a diffuser or nozzle somehow?Just wondering. Thanks.: Shop vacs are designed to suck up liquids and when the tank fills the ball will float and eventually plug the air suction opening to the blower. The ball is there to prevent liquid from the tank from being sprayed out of the vacuum and to protect the motor from that liquid.

Q: i am wanting a cleaner that does it all. i remember a rainbow that i used of someone that was a vac that extracted water while vacuuming that i would like to have. however, i don't know what kind that it was?? does all rainbow vacs do that?? i was thinking about purchasing the h2o vac, then read alot of bad things about them. do you have one, what is your experience? it does'nt have to be a rainbow, but i want something that i can vac and run water at the same time. would like for it to cost less than a rainbow. does the green machine do that?also, if you have a hoover z-fold, how good/bad is it?: I myself would prefer my rainbow over any other carpet machine. I cleaned houses for a living for 4 years and it still runs great. I may of cost a pretty penny but it was worth every cent. I also got the step attachment and the carpet cleaner with mine for doing 4 demo.'s. they were free. you can set up a contract with finance america and pay only $50.00 a month or so. maybe $75.00 and pay for it that way. it really is worth it to me. and it doesnt use suck up water it runs water like a dirt bag, it makes the dirt go to the bottom of the bowl. dirt is heavier then water, and the part inside acts like a churn, it forces the dirt to the bottom. you can also use smelly oils in the water to make your home smell good as you vacuume. I will never buy any other type of model of vacuumes after having this rainbow.

Q: I have an oreck vacuum cleaner..is there a place that takes old vacuum cleaners?: i for my section by no ability have owned an Oreck yet don't have faith the commercial, i know somebody who has owned a Oreck vacuum and that they have had very undesirable success with it and it would not even artwork anymore that is approximately 2 years previous, and it consistently blocks up, no stable, get some thing extra useful, i could choose to signify a variety I certainly have and is approximately 5 years previous now and have had no difficulty with it particularly is a Panasonic Vacuum they're very mild-weight and basic to pass around the dwelling house and gets particularly on the element of the sides. I even plan on getting yet another Panasonic this time a bagless variety stable success !
