Q: Can you just tell me what you did as a machinery repairman? Where was your first station that you went to? Or where you assigned directly to a ship? Did you ever get stationed at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard? Did you ever go overseas? Were you on the ship more or on shore more? And finally but not least when you were deployed how long were you usually deployed for?i know i have alot of questions but its something im interested in and no one has given me a straight answer. But anything will be greatly appreciated.Thank you for your time and God Bless :-)

Q: Does it have all the details of the threading section? I used Machinery's Handbook for drawings to determine tap sizes, thread dimensions etc for technical drawings. I hate to buy the book again (I lost it in a flood) for the one chapter I really need. Does anyone know if it includes those tables?

Q: please help.
this is an extremely complex task. It is also very dependent on the site. I will try to give you a quick rundown. Geologists for an oil company decide that a certain site is ideal for oil production and they bargain with the landowners for drilling rights. Next, the oil company submits their data to drilling companies to get a rig to drill to where they think there will be oil. The drilling company drills to the depth and sets the appropriate casing and tubing to produce where the geologists think there may be oil. Production specialists are then called in to fracture the well in all the places that are thought to produce oil. this allows the oil to flow into the casing and tubing and produce valuable fuels. These fuels are pipelined into local refineries to produce fuels that are marketable for industrial or public use such as diesel, gasoline, heating oils, waxes, plastics, etc. From the refineries, these products are transported to gas stations, plastic/wax/grease producers, etc. via pipelines and trucks. this is where the fuels can be used by consumers for lubrication, fuel, or even plastics manufacturing.
Q: i need help w/ a science question lol....:] help please! thnx! o and also, the 1st question is more important, but if u know this one, it would help too: How is friction a factor in outer space?
OK, I'm thinking about the situations you mention........now, what exactly was the question.......?! Nothing, including friction, is a (factor...?) in 'outer space'. Reason: there's nothing there.
Q: Just to find out what it did. Or a good estimate?

Q: Plural form of machine is machines or machinery?
The plural of machine is machines. Machinery refers to the use or presence of machines to accomplish something. Joe has two washing machines, one that works, and one that doesn't. It takes a lot of machinery to make an automobile.
Q: what do companies benefit from when upgrading machinery?
Depends what you mean by upgrading. A business can upgrade existing machinery to perform faster, better, etc or they can purchase a new machine to replace an older one. With upgrading the business is looking at increasing output, reducing operating costs and improving the efficiency of the machine. A new machine will potentially return less downtime due to breakdowns, but may have teething troubles whilst it settles in. New machinery will have costs involved, not only the purchase cost, but cost of spares, cost of training to operate and maintain, and depreciation. Hope this helps
Q: machinery purchsed entry and derpeciation charged for it?
The purchase: Dr. Machinery (Fixed Assets) Cr. Cash / Accounts Payable Depreciation: Dr. Machinery Depreciation Expense Cr. Machinery Accumulated Depreciation Note that the accumulated depreciation is a contra account for the fixed assets, and what appears on the Balance sheet is the net of the two figures.
