- Q: Hi, Has anyone had any experience with Axiom Rugs? They are pretty cheap and look quite good. i was looking at them on OKorder by a seller called ridelouk, they look good to me, but has anyone bought one? I know for the price there not going to be amazing. - LOVE Axiom rugs! I had them for my old lease horse and they're fantastic :) The usual Saxon or Weatherbeater rugs didn't last as long as the Axiom ones did. I'll be getting them for my new horse as soon as I have some spare money. They're also good people to deal with on OKorder. They send it really quickly. I had it within a week of my money clearing via paypal (which took 3 days).
- Q: How are residential and commercial carpets differ from each other?
- As well as being made of a lesser fiber blend the carpet is often treated with fire retardant and pesticides before installation, dyes are also different, matching a commercial carpet color to a residential retailer will mean a compromise.
- Q: Rather than step into his litter box, that stays clean because I know how picky cats are, he'll crap on my bathroom rugs with his litter box not a foot away from him. Is it a territorial thing? Would he stop if I bought new rugs? I'd have already thrown his butt outside, but he's declawed. I hate having to keep my bathroom rugs folded over all the time because of the little stinker.
- Lose the rug. Buy some cat attract for the littler box. Wait about a week or so and replace your rug. Works all the time.
- Q: spill candle wax on my carpet and wont come off...
- Be careful and this might just get most of it up: Take several paper towels and put them over the wax. Now rub a very warm but not supper hot clothing iron over the paper towels. This will warm the wax while it is being absorbed into the towel. Repeat with clean paper towels until you are satisfied that you have removed all you can.
- Q: I thought my rug would smell better after a whole day in the sun on my patio but it rained and it got wet I dried it again in the sun and now it stinks!I have brown stains on the BACK of the rug.I cant throw away the rug..it's beautiful.I can hire prof cleaners dont have steam/carpet shampooer.If you suggest home remedies, pls specify exact proportions.I guess I'll have to wash it with mild soap water in my tub let it dry in the patio again?
