With GI (aluzinc) as base metal, after pretreatment (degrease and chemical treatment) and liquid dope with several layers of color, then after firing and cooling, finally the plate steel is called pre-painted galvanized (aluzinc) steel. Pre-painted galvanized steel is good capable of decoration, molding, corrosion resistance. It generally displays workability, durability and weather resistance.

Q:bullets are normally made out of lead...are there bullets that are completely steel?? (not plated)
They will both knock it over, but it depends on how the bullets hit the block. If the steel bullet hits the block at any kind of an angle, it will knock it over because it will enter the block cross grain. If it hits it straight on, it will not have as much resistance as it goes with the grain of the wood. The rubber bullet will have more resistance because it does not pierce the block. The force from the rubber bullet would be the same no matter what angle it comes from.

The difference in stainless steel cookware is the amount of different metals used when making them. 18-10 is the best combination. I have Tramontina SS pots and pans and love them. Nice heavy bottoms that evenly heat. Getting used to cooking with stainless is a bit difficult. You need to start with high heat and then turn it down when you add ingredients. This assists in food not sticking.

Ok folks, BOTH Brass and Steel work harden. That's what happens when you get into the plastic deformation part of the stress - strain curve. In the case of brass it can take significantly more deformation before it hardens than steel, steel can take significantly more stress before it goes into plastic deformation. Steel is unattractive in plastic strain environments because it has an unstable plastic deformation region before it stress hardens. Brass has much smoother performance. I don't know a heck of alot about making casings, but certainly for necked casings steel will wear out tooling much faster than brass. In a straight wall case it probably doesn't matter as much since it is just tubing. Typical Brass has a brinnell hardness of around 60, mild steel around 130. Steel is a LOT harder than Brass. Negative facts for steel wheels: (1) Not as many style choices as aluminum. (2) Rust easily even when painted or powder coated, due to rock chips. (3) Heaver than aluminum, as far as fuel economy. Negative facts for aluminum wheels: (1) More sensitive to proper torquing of lug nuts. IE torque must be checked more often. (2) Susceptible to impact damage from road hazards much more than steel.
