Coaxial Cable RG series (RG11, RG6, RG59, RG213, RG214, RG58)

Q: I wanted to buy this card: What power cables will it need? Thanks in advance
You don't need any power cables. The board gets power from the mother board. You need a PCI-Express slot on your mother board. If you're asking about video cables to the monitor, it says in the listing... Interfaces 2 x DVI-I - 29 pin combined DVI , 1 x HDMI - 19 pin HDMI Type A , 2 x DisplayPort - Apple mini-DisplayPort You only need one of these unless you are running more than 1 monitor. I would look on your monitor and see what connections you have. (2) DVI-1 is common is older stuff, (1) HDMI is the newest technology and common for HDTV, (2) Apple ports for Apple enabled monitors.
Q: What is resistance of the cable (resistivity of copper is1.7x10^-8)Answer is 14 ohms. But please explain how do we get there in full detail.
Find total cross sectional area of copper in cable ie 12 * area of one. calculate the resistance of 1 m then multiply by 2000.
Q: Title says it all, Can you please show the link to it like on OKorder or something, thanks.
That PCI controller card does not need a power cable. It draws the power it needs from the PCI slot into which it is inserted.
Q: how deep underground are electric cables put and gas pipes laid underground for houses and bungalows here in the united kingdom, the Supply would be coming from the street up the front garden, asking this as thinking of knocking in metal posts for garden fence,
I apologize for the first answer. I can't imagine that basic building code is too different in the UK. The utility companies should have the information on file, and possibly your municipality. But the best bet is to see if they mark it for you. If that fails, I would pick up a manual post hole digger and some quick set cement and cement the posts in (i/m/o, this would be the way to go anyway as it gives you a much more secure post, plus you avoid having to wait on the utility company). Good luck.
Q: i have a modular power supply i lost my cables moving out of my old house. so can any one tell me where i can get new ones to my power supply:
I've never personally ordered any item specific parts but you should try NCIX . com
Q: Two weeks ago, my 1 yr 19 lcd monitor began to flicker? Why? The power cord and usb cable are secure?
I've had a similar thing happen with my 17 GEM monitor. Eventually, I relocated the monitor and redid all the wiring and the flickering ultimately stopped. I'd wager it's a wire issue.
Q: im curious to know if using multiple small cables to power my amp is the same or better than using a single big one??like do three 4gauge wires give more power than one 1/0 gauge wire? or is it worse?and how do i know if my amp needs more current?? THANKS
You can have big problems if one of the cables is broken or loses connection somehow. That way all of the current goes down one cable. That is the danger of doing that.
Q: I have an internal SATA drive that im looking to access through my laptops eSata (external SATA) port. Im buying the cable required for this but im curious after I make the connection is there a separate cable i need to provide power to the hardrive?Or does the sata to esata cable provide power to the internal drive
definite. the capacity connectors and the information connectors are an identical for 2.5 and 3.5 sata complicated drives. U can ghost over the workstation complicated tension to a different workstation complicated tension, as long there is not any actual project with the two drives, determine there is sufficient room interior the holiday spot complicated tension. i'm not too particular if u are utilizing homestead windows XP, Vista or 7 yet each and every each and every now and then after ghosting, if u unable besides to homestead windows as a results of errors, u will might desire to run homestead windows startup restoration a minimum of two times so as besides to homestead windows.
Q: i need to know what kind of cable i need to supply power to my internal dvd player. I ALREADY HAVE AN IDE CABLE
if you look inside your computer you should see a bunch of cables coming out of your power supply. they are usually red and black with a white connector. that is what you need to plug into your dvd player.
Q: My amp was working this morning. On my way home, the power cable came out somehow. I put it back in and it wasn't powering on. The amp fuses were blown, I replaced them. Then I went to hook the battery terminal back and the fuse in my power cable blew instantly. I replaced it and tried again and it blew again. Also the fuses in the amp are fine now. I did the same process when I installed my amp the first time and it was fine so I don't know why it's doing this now. The amp is a Boston Acoustics 800w RMS amp and an 80a fuse. Any ideas?
you got a short to ground, make sure ANY part of the Positive (hot) wire is not touching the chassis
