Q: I'm gonna be getting piercings this weekend, so i know im already getting my nose. but i want to get my ear. like barbell? so what's the difference between Scaffold and Industrial?: Nothing... The piercer will use an extra long barbell, most likely a 14 gauge.. too.

So, can they be done separately, as in weeks apart?: Technically yes but it is better to have them done at the same time so the holes are aligned properly. Q: I got my scaffold piercing 6 days ago, with titanium, and it was fine until yesterday.I had a couple of nights out and might have knocked it a few times, but yesterday it was swollen, red, throbbing and very painful. There is no liquid coming from it. It seems to have got worse today.I have been following the aftercare advice and cleaning it several times a day with rock salt solution and (up until yesterday) savlon antiseptic spray. Is it just irritated or is it infected? How long should I wait before I go to the doctor? If it is infected, will I have to take it out or just take antibiotics?Thanks!: It's irritated. If it was infected, it would be oozing green or yellow gunk:) If it gets to that point, go to the doctor. Until then, just treat is regularly with salt solution:) Hope this helped!

Q: At 16 I took my bros 16 gauge piercing needle and pierced my left cartilage and it didn't hurt at all.... and I have a tattoo as well and I laughed through it. So pain isn't huge when it's a small amount.: once you get it pierced do no longer stressful up bc its going to harm like 10 situations extra. stay comfortable and actual do now not sleep on it in view which you will awaken day after today with a swollen ear and in discomfort. sparkling it thrice an afternoon for 12 weeks. And basically a reminder cartilage piercings do take a together as to heal. Mine took a pair of 365 days in a a million/2 to absolutely heal. meaning the place i became into waiting to sleep on it and not harm.the place i became into waiting to pass it around without it getting contaminated minutes later. you may haven't any problem with it as long as you're looking after it =) And from a a million to 10 i say its between a 7 and eight once you get it pierced bc it does throb after.

Q: what do you think?pain wise? i know it's going to hurt as it's a peircing (duh) but will it hurt especially as it's two thick pieces of cartilage?: sounds hott!! XD take alot of advile or novacain before you get it done, trust me it works!

Q: Okay, quick question. I dropped into a couple of piercing studios yesterday to inquire about getting a scaffold done. Both places informed me that it's not a good idea to have it pierced with a bar straight off, as the pressure from the jewellery combined with the swelling when first pierced can seriously slow down the healing rate. Is this true? The second place said they will pierce both holes with rings, and these can be changed to a bar after around 6 to 8 weeks.Is this the best option? Q: i am getting my industrial (scaffold) pierced on one ear and i want my cartilage on the other ear, how long do i have to wait between them? What are pros and cons for industrial (scaffold)? what are risks and stuff and how much is it? i want to get it so any information or anything i should know would be great thanks especially for industrial:): i heard from people after a year an industrial still hurts and they usually have to take them out
