Q: I've heard moles come to get grubs, should I try to kill the grubs or is there a way to just stop the moles from getting into my garden?
there are traps to humanely capture the moles, but moles are a useless animal -- sorry, but I'm not a big fan of them. Mole pellets work best, and they're available in most home and garden centers for a few bucks. Sprinkle a few in all the mole runs or gopher holes and you'll find them dead in a couple days. DO NOT use this stuff if you have little kids running around (especially those that would pick up and eat things that look like rabbit turds). By far, the best thing to control grubs is Milky Spore. It's a biological control (hopefully that makes up for my previous kill all moles answer) that will kill grubs for 10-15 years. Again, you can find it in Home Depot or Lowes, but look for it online if you're covering 10,000 sq. ft. or more.
Q: its a better homes and gardens full length mirror and comes with quot;easy to install hardware.quot; the hardware are two little triangle things hinged onto a square shaped part with a hole on the end. does that make sense? i guess one way to say it is that its shaped lke a little house, a square and triangle on top as the roof but the triangle is a hook and rather than a door there is a little circle which im assuming a nail goes. and it also came with two screws. my question is do i screw the nail and the little quot;housequot; into the mirror and then hang them on a nail on my wall?plese help i don't want to mess up the mirror
You hang a mirror just like you hang a picture. You screw your little triangle things on the sides of your mirror, hook a cable between them, and hook the cable to a hanger you've screwed into a stud of the wall.
Q: ok so i went to the beach on vacation and i found some seashells and it said when i found them that i could display them in my home or garden but idk how to do that and i have the sims 2 seasons so i actually have a garden and im not sure if it means that garden or the plants and stuff!!
In your sims home they can just stick it on a shelf. I'm not so sure about the garden. I was just thinking they can put it on the edge of the garden (like a border if you have a lot of shells). I usually just have my sims sell the seashells :)
Q: grown by people at homes in their patios or gardens?
1) In homes, patios or gardens people in Spain can grow many Citrus fruits like we do. Dwarf varieties that are protected from cold in winter. 2) Spain is the main E.U producer of tropical and subtropical fruit and the only country on the continent itself currently capable of growing them. As consolidated crops, Spain produces avocados (over 10,000 ha planted, yielding some 70,000 t/year), bananas (production restricted to the Canary Islands; around 9,500 ha, of which some 3,000 are under greenhouse, yielding 420,000 t/year), and cherimoyas (roughly 3,000 ha and 33,000 t/year). Mangos (almost 1,400 ha) and papaya (around 200 ha, practically all under greenhouse) show great potential for future development. Pineapple is steady at around 75 ha, both in open air and greenhouse plantations and, again, limited to the Canary Islands. Experimental plantings of litchi show good prospects. Minor crops under evaluation include carambola and guava. A review of the actual situation, problems and prospects, as well as the main lines of research, is highlighted in this paper.
Q: Tell me in short about your food gardening methods. With summer coming around, this is the perfect time to start a home vegetable garden.
My okorder ...for everything you need to know about propagating, cultivating and harvesting including choosing which vegetables to grow; crop yield calculating; seeding, planting-out harvesting times; companion planting crop rotation; bedding lay out; soil composition (how to make your own)...etc. The Square Foot Method is VERY efficient with space and effort needed to grow vegetables. Almost guaranteed success (if you don't plant it, It wont grow)... The SF Method is EASY for beginners to grasp and adaptable for small gardens; though these things are just as appealing to more experienced gardeners as well. Very informative and motivational. Mel is a great teacher ! I can't praise him and his book enough! Good Luck!
Q: I'm looking for a recipe to make tiramisu. i found it in a better homes and gardens book a few years back. It's not the one in the new better homes and gardens. I would guess the year is early 2000s and it uses hot milk sponge cake. if you have this recipe please help. i really need it. and u get 10 points :)

Q: I heard something about being able to order Home and Garden Party products online. Has anyone else heard anything about that? I have ordered Home and Garden Party products before. They have some really nice candles and stoneware. Would like to hear from a designer.
I okorder . Let me know if you have any other questions about Home and Garden Pary. Have a Lovely day!
Q: Does anyone know a home made recipy to clear moss from the garden path. I don't want to use the chemical stuff in the shops.
The least toxic way is to just scrape the moss off with a spatula and move it to another place in the yard. If it is a shady place, the moss will probably come back after a while, so you will have to repeat the process. I've also heard that you can put bleach in a spray bottle and spray it on the moss.
Q: We are purchasing our home from our landlord and they have to do an appraisal. The house is fine and I am not really worried about except for the fact that my backyard has a ton of flower gardens and I have not had time to weed them. Do I need to hire someone to help me clean them up before they come? Also, Do they go through your closets and stuff like that? Thanks.
The appraiser will look in your closets, but they do not go through them. If your flower beds are unsightly, that may detract slightly from the value of the house, but not enough to hire someone to do the weeding. The main things the appraiser is interested in is the square footage, amenities, condition of the house and outbuildings, those sorts of things.
Q: also thinking about painting the shed cream or white too?
